Lose 10 lbs. I'm already very fit and have a good amount of muscle as I lift and do a lot of sport, but if I get leaner I'll look more elegant. My biggest problem are my legs. Everything leans out and looks skeletal but they stay thick. I do not want thick legs.

Yes! I feel slightly guilty for saying this but I'm a tiny bit happy about the quarantine because I really need that extra free time to get my life in order.

>Looks

Wash hair every 3rd day, use conditioner, brush and braid before going to bed
No more ugly low ponytails outside the house (my favourite comfy hairstyle lol)
Daytime skin care: gua sha, cleanser, toner, lotion, eye cream, sunscreen on face and neck (+ sunglasses!)
Nighttime skin care: cleanser, vitamin A serum, green tea serum, eye cream, retinol
Floss teeth at night
Wear light makeup once corona ends
Stop touching my face and hair
Actually wear my glasses while driving, reading or looking at a screen

>Body

Exfoliate, dry brush, moisturize
Exercise 6 days a week, run outside if the weather is nice enough
Work on posture, sit properly (straight, without crossing my legs)
Eat breakfast, no longer overeating, no seconds, no snacks, an earlier dinner, eat as healthy as possible, cut back on diet coke (because caffeine)
Get a more regular sleep schedule (12-8 instead of 4-10)

>Expression

Many of my clothes no longer fit me thanks to my weight gain and around half of my closet is packed with clothes which I absolutely don't like and haven't worn in years, so I finally try to be "brave" enough to tell my mom that I want to give those away.
Buy new clothes once I reach my goal body
Start wearing perfume and accessories
No longer wear uncomfortable shoes, again give/throw away
Dress up more when going outside, change everything at least once a week
Tidy up my room, throw out stuff that is unneccessary or that I no longer like and keep it clean once and for all

>Work/study

Study more, don't wait until deadlines are close but also no longer stress as much as I used to
I'm an anxious loner, so in order to get better results and feel better in general, I need to stop thinking that others are staring/laughing at me
Either graduate this or next semester (depending on either corona or how fast I get my last classes and studying done)
Give less fucks at my part time job because my coworkers don't do shit either, don't let asshole costumers upset me

>Finances

Because I still live with my parents and hardly ever buy anything for myself I saved up 26k (birthday/christmas money + part time work) and I'm quite happy with that. Next year I'll start working for real, move out and buy myself a cute car (brand doesn't matter but it has to be a convertible).

>Personal achievements

As cheesy as it sounds, I first need to learn to accept and love myself in order for others to like me too. I think I come across as reserved, tense, weird or even arrogant, so I have to work on caring less and being less shy, but I also want to make sure to not come across as desperate and annoying, before I might (or hopefully) succeed in making new friends. No longer let anybody use me.
Stop feeling insecure, inferior or jealous of others
Stop hiding or being embarrassed for my interests
Maybe try online dating or dating apps, but female friends are priority over getting a bf
I'd like to start learning Muay Thai, ballet, ice skating,… but that's not possible in the small town I currently live, so hopefully next year
Go outside more, get as much sun as possible (because I always feel like I waste summer)
Maybe go on a longer vacation next spring before I start working, my dream would be Tokyo but I'm not sure whether I dare to do that all on my own

Long af post but I really need to get a grip on myself, the last couple years were really rough.

This video really gave me insight why I prefer browsing the internet, social media etc. for hours instead of doing productive things for even a short about of time that I'll benefit from in the long run and how to start doing productive shit instead.

I'm sharing this here because I think it'll help you do the things you need to glow-up, like excersising and personal achievements

>Looks (above the neck)
Hair - while it's better (thicker) than before, it got dry. Needs to be more healthy.
Eyelashes - For some reason, my eyelashes shorter. Never wore extensions nor I wear makeup often so I gotta research a bit about this.

>Body (below the neck)

Need to lose at least 20 pounds. Started back in December but the whole situation around corona affected my progress considerably, though no more excuses, need to go back on track.
Nails - Always a weak mess, take better care of them.
Body hair - While I have nothing against women having body hair, mine is super thick and coarse. Makes my skin itch when it's grown and shaving or waxing it is pure suffering. Invested into an IPL, seems promising so far.

>Expression (clothes, home decor)

Uniqlo is finally shipping to my country, I fucking love Uniqlo. I also need more footwear.

>Work/study

Thankfully, my IT job is letting me have home office for now. Need to continue learning programming.

>Finances

Okay for now, wish I saved up more this month. My goal is to save up around $450 a month

>Personal achievements

Learn to drive again (long story why I forgot). Focus more on myself.

>Looks (above the neck)
I would love to get a new hairstyle since I don't really do anything with it and I'd love to switch it up for once. Probably get bangs. I also want to visit a salon after this quarantine is over to change my brow shape. I feel like they are too thick and it doesn't really look good so I want try getting them thinner.

>Body (below the neck)

Lose weight. I gained 30-40 pounds last year due to horrible eating habits and I feel so embarrassed about it. I've been consistent with calorie cutting and doing home exercises this quarantine so far so I hope I can keep it up. I was planning on joining a women's gym before this whole thing started so I'm excited to try it once this is over. Also, I like hiking so I'd to do some more advanced trails soon.

>Expression (clothes, home decor)

If I succeed at weight loss I'd like to try some different types of clothes that's not just jeans and a basic sweater like I usually wear.

>Work/study (delete as applicable)

Stop skipping class and start reading the textbook/articles the first week of class and not a few days before the exam. Two horrible habits I've developed. I also want to pick up something academic on the side to help keep my mind sharp (probably either doing math exercises or learning a new language)

>Personal achievements (ie. leave destructive relationship, pick up new hobby, get drivers licence, etc)

Stop using the internet so much, this I've already made a lot of progress on thanks to programs like Cold Turkey. Learn to drive. Start reading again. Find a new hobby and actually stick with it past just a few days.

Not sure yet if I want to get one, but I just wish I could get my dream body and feel great about myself, and working out is so much less motivating when I know my breasts will always be kinda saggy and have huge areolas, they have always been somewhat like that and getting fit will probably make it much worse.

I'm going to do this differently; I've glowed up in the last 5 years and I'm willing to share my tips.

>Looks (above the neck

Microblading my eyebrows was expensive but very worth it.
Skin has improved alot since eating more meats and fish… makes me feel energetic and skins not dry or eczema prone. I use La Roche Posay benzoyl peroxide as well as their adapalene nightly to prevent breakouts that happen around jaw during period.
Makeup-wise I prefer Lisa Eldridge's timeless style over insta trends: less is more.

Hair: I was the anon in the hair thread posting about the hot air brushes. Its the best beauty tool I've ever bought. Even when it's healthy, my hair has that fluffy half-assed wavy texture that doesnt form a pattern when air dried. With the dryer brush its <10 minutes after showers and my hair is sleek. Also: no bleaching. I've used demi permanent dye every 2 months to make my hair darker + dried it every other day for the past 5 years; none of this comes close to the damage of lightening my hair just one time.

>Body (below the neck)

I admit I hate exercise. But Just Dance really makes me do long durations of cardio without being miserable. I also follow a bodyweight routine by blogilates. I avoid junk food and soda completely and take stairs everywhere.

Body hair wise I have to say I really wish I started doing my own waxing earlier. Its not as scary as it may seem. Just be organized and follow directions. I ordered a wax warmer and 1 lb of beads from amazon, watched an estheticians training guide and went to town.

>Expression (clothes, home decor)

Clothes wise I've never been disappointed in the quality of Uniqlo. Urban outfitters has good stuff sometimes too. In summer I wear tshirts tucked in at the waist with midi skirts and either flats or platform sandals. Its casual but not athleisure.

>Work/study (delete as applicable)

I took a pay cut to work a job that is almost no stress. My last job would give me nightmares even though it paid much better. I'm much happier now.

>Finances

I save alot of money by not eating out or ordering food. What I don't mind risking I tuck into my TD ameritrade portfolio.

>Personal achievements

One night at 2am I randomly looked up "archery" in my town and found a club at the community center that does cheap classes and after 4 weeks they let you do target training whenever you want. Its alot of fun. Its a good solo hobby. I recommend looking for your local community centers and browsing their catalog of classes, there may be something interesting.

I'm confused how Ester Exposito transformed from this to Spain's sex symbol. Just the difference between season 1 and 2 in Elite is massive. Seems to be mostly hair and makeup though.

She was incredibly hot in season 1 too tbh. You're comparing a still from a scene and glam photoshoot so it's a bit unfair.

No. 148606

>>148594
Yeah I agree, she was hot in all seasons. But in season 2 she became 1000x hotter and looked quite different.

Anyway you can look up videos of her when she was younger and compare them to now. I think it probably is just superb makeup. And her personality gives an "illusion" of her being even hotter. I kind of wish I was her lmao.

No. 148611

>>148606
100% agree that her personality / the way she carries herself makes her hotter. If I'd just saw a picture of her I probably wouldn't think she is THAT amazing (still beautiful though), but she is so confident with her body/appeal it makes her so much more attractive; sex scene from ep1 season 1 really establishes her as this convincing femme fatale character.

No. 148614

I don't think she got anything done, eyebrows and makeup change your face so much. She was very young when she filmed Élite, like 17 or 18, so I think her looks matured as well.

>>148611
Exactly. She has cute features, but it's the way she carries herself, also, the general audience sees "Carla, la marquesita" when they see her, not Ester, so they're kind of stuck with the character's strong sexualization and relate it to her.

No. 148620

>>148614
I think she looks like a mouse. She has a nice body but her face is nothing special. I also don't understand that part about way she carries herself in the show making her attractive, wasn't her character an insufferable bitch?

Her face is pretty what you talking about

>I also don't understand that part about way she carries herself in the show making her attractive, wasn't her character an insufferable bitch?

I think people fell in love with her in season 2, it's a combination of her body, fashion and "femme fatale" personality.
