What online forums, apps, or other resources do you use when you need to vent? Ages ago there was this anonymous app called candid and while the motivations of the people who ran the app were questionable; the app itself was great. I sort of miss it.

this is why I will never use apps advertized for that purpose. It wouldn't surprise me if most were honeypots. I do vent sometimes and prefer typing things out so I use StandardNotes which keeps everything local on the device and strongly encrypted. Never approved of how people would make private vent Twitters or shit like that because it can be assumed that moderators at minimum can snoop and laugh at you. Your pic related looks like a terrible idea to me, 100% unfiltered online negativity from others with no context sounds like a great way to aggravate mental health issues at worst and brain junk food at best.

I think it's better than the old one. The google captcha was so infuriating when the squares would fade out and it would lag and take a while to load. The slider on the new one is annoying but it's not that bad.
