Whether this means Mafuyu and Uenoyama will grow closer through these struggles or break on them (which does feel like a possibility) remains to be seen.

I don't understand why the Tappytoon version starts after a major plot point and doesn't include the entire story leading up to it (because it starts from childhood) but the version on Lezhin does start from their childhood.
