I don’t know what’s worse, the 8 foot long legs in the old drawing or the gravity defying circumference of the cone tit plateau in the new one. Also, besides the dodgeball drawing, have any of her recent drawings featured any backgrounds beside the dreary grey void? Even though the older drawing is less detailed and technically impressive, it’s much more attractive thanks to the bright colours that mesh well with the cheerful background, it communicates an atmosphere that’s completely missing with the drab void in her recent works.

To go back on topic, brujo moving away from the cannibalism plotline is one of the only decisions I'm agreeable to only because her initial plot sounded incredibly edgy (in a boring way) and is juxtaposed by her cutesy art style that would make the two concepts clash. It sucks she only decided on this theme because of the "cannibalism as a metaphor for love" meme rather than a think piece on carnal desire and bodily autonomy or whatever. I don't think brujo is good enough of a writer/scenario producer to handle such a plot and she would've been better off doing a generic slice of life of teenagers doing mundane "retro" things. Her strong suit used to be drawing dynamic scenes with characters interacting with one another, its so sad to see her art degrade like this
