So I tried seeing how many poses I could get out of one character. Seems to me that they're somewhat limited. Lots of the face structures (especially on line one) basically overlap. Not sure if that's by design or what-not but it's interesting, I guess.
It's kinda creepy how they're
all directly looking at you. I tried hard to find one that didn't but didn't have much luck. At the very end I kinda found one that didn't look directly. Kinda creepy how they all look somewhat subservient imo. I wish there was more range to their emotions. Not much variation for now.
I managed to find one decent-ish hand after a lot of searching. Meanwhile, one character looks like she's had her bloody hand amputated.
I did this in paint so it's difficult to move the pictures around. Also the file is 15.7 MB so be warned. Sorry about that.

Here's character pose I was playing around with. 1A was what I started with.
I wish I could have opened some of the other character iterations but then the undo-button won't let me go back. 2A had lots of glasses looks. Many of them were kinda half done though.

Some more characters I played around with. I made some silly backstories. Following the same pose pattern as

B: Water seadragon girl. She likes eating guacamole and seaweed together. Trying to adjust to human life. I like the hat in B5. She is blessed with hands and fingers.
C: Online idol. Is actually 27 but passes as 17. Sometimes gets offered children discounts at the museums and cinema. Doesn't really like her job but it brings in good money. She once fell on her head one very drunk night (C13). Only knows how to smile one way for the camera.
D: Tank fighter girl. People stay wary of her because of her crazy eye. But she's really just into tanks and weapons. She wears a new hat to every fight as a good luck charm.
E: Veteran mahou shoujo. Any attack that lands turns that part of her enemy into strawberry jam. She was coerced into becoming a mahou shoujo by some of her classmates several years ago but she left the team once she got the hang of it. She has not seen her ex-team members since a battle half a year ago and doesn't really care. Her magical powers are so strong her body has changed to adjust and now she has a third eye hiding within her hair (E13). Plans to become the mahou oujou (magical queen) and won't let anyone stand in her way.
F: Cute young girl working at the local isekai cafe run by her parents. Loves her customers and will do anything to keep them content and coming back. Goes foraging for ingredients twice a week.
Don't get on her bad side though. She has stored some very potent mushrooms for rowdy customers. At best, one will get dizzy for a few hours (F13) and sleep it off and at worst, one will never wake up again.
