Maybe at first you may take it to heart and think they're attacking you [my mother used to tell me shit about my weight for most of my life and to this day still does], so I grew defensive about my weight, but you have to understand and come to terms with the fact you're not okay.
Being diagnosed as obese was a hard hit in my life, but it made sense.
I skipped periods, I couldn't do much exercise without losing my breath, I couldn't fit into clothes, I looked like shit, I looked older than my real age, and I felt incredibly depressed about myself.
Overall it's a really shit feeling and if you reach a point where you conform with how you look then you're fucked for life.
I'm now considered "healthy" on the bmi scale [which fatties love to bash bc not accurate xDDD], and it feels nice.
The fact that I can run and feel lighter is surely a thing I enjoy.
Fitting into clothing that I would only look through a window at shops because I couldn't fit into it is, honestly, refreshing.
So seriously, it's okay if you accept the way you are and look, but you also have to be conscious that you aren't a special case where your lifestyle decisions won't affect you.
You need to realize that your body is not designed to be massive, and that you have to make changes to it because you may not feel it on the outside, but on the inside, your body is really, really pushing itself everyday to keep you alive. You should respect it and try to help it out.
And honestly? She can cry all about bullying and how people made her feel like shit, she can cry how all of it was unfair, but I've also been through it.
I've also been through bullying from elementary to high school, for different reasons. At home my family used to berate me and yell at me for being fat, which only made me spiral out of control and into denial. It ain't easy to be told you aren't pretty like "the skinny girls" and that your worth as a girl is not the same, and to be called a man in high school for absolutely no reason, so I know what it is like, but that didn't stop me, and it shouldn't stop her either.
Instead of crying about it, prove to yourself that you can overcome whatever obstacles you may have in your life and that those people who hurt you will have to shut up when you come out of your issues and fix them.

So one time me and my friend went to the YMCA, it was the first time I've ever gone. We walked around, I walked a mile, makes a circular motion with her arms I didn't just go and do nothing, I walked around, I felt like you know, it'd be a good idea to get some exercise since I just got a work from home position. BUT this lady walked in - because we were watching TV in the youth room because we just walked around and my back's hurting, so we're sitting down and this lady walks in with her kid, and she looks over at me and she just gives me this look, and she looks at her son and says 'I guess people can't watch TV in here' and walked away. And later on I'm talking to my friend about it and she's like 'Oh! I thought she was just mentioning that to her kid' and I said no, she was looking right at me. Because that's how I'm perceived. I'm perceived as this incredible lazy, fat, stupid that's just how I'm perceived and I want to change that. So the thing with my car is that I'm able to drive it, thankfully, but I have to have the setting as far back as I possibly can, the steering wheel as high as it can go, and my seat has to be as, like, forward as it can get so it can support my back, and when I get in I have to hold the steering wheel, get my first leg in, Quirky is starting to squeeze in the car drop myself in, I have to fold myself in. Ummmmmm…. And I have to get my hand like this on the console, right there the console. I have to take my hand and grasp the door and pull myself in. And as you can see, it takes, all of the space!

She says she has nothing to do but eat, well that's something she can actually fucking do. Sit the fuck down and watch Youtube videos on how to apply eyeshadow and eyeliner, learn how to contour (I don't see the the point anymore, her face is completely deformed), learn about skin tones and color matching foundations accordingly, etc. This shit takes hours and hours every day, just watching videos and practicing, removing whatever you're working on, and restarting with different color combos or wings.

I feel like if you're going to do something as big as this (an audition in this case), try your best to look decent if you can't look good. Go to a friend or cough up the money and pay an MUA at a makeup counter to do your makeup (If you want to wear it, it doesn't matter, makeup doesn't define a person).
Give it all you got, because her going on the Biggest Loser was such a big thing for her, and maybe even a turning point in her life. She didn't get accepted and her response was to just give up (much like PT did when she didn't get in the JET program) and embrace her regal curve. Her wanting to be on the Biggest Loser so badly, and getting rejected broke her in a sense.

So I have not talked about it or been a mouth piece because I feel I don't benefit the discussion. I feel that this issue is so important, and that after this Eric Garner there is NO QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED about these issues. There is NO QUESTION that they treated him lesser, then MURDERED someone unarmed, for petty crime that SHOULD have been taken in for questioning but he did NOT deserve that death. NOONE WOULD HAVE. These events only being up the major issues and racial undertones we had a community have. We deserve better, we are better.
Something has to be done. My silence on these issues was well intended, but being silent is just like being part of the problem. Eric Garner will never have the justice for the injustice our so called "justice system" placed on him. It's disgusting, it's heart breaking.
And as a reminder, if you are not a PoC (person of color, as I very recently learned what that term even meant) you do not have any right to tell them how racism effects them or makes them feel. Just know I stand with you, with everyone, while the fight is fought. I only hope something, anything is done to fight this.
