I am choosing not to be anon, since I've been referenced here. To clear things up, I've had no further contact from him other than a message via Skype about an hour after I spoke to him on December 29, 2017. Due to the amount of time that has elapsed, I highly doubt he will be back in contact with me. Even if he would reach out, at this point I will not speak with him due to everything that has elapsed. Why did I defend him at that time? Depression is a bitch. I suffer from it, and have family members who are severely manic/bipolar. Due to my own experience, and conversations with those family members (some who have been hospitalized due to it) I thought that this was very possibly a mental health issue that needed to be addressed. As often happens to those in manic phases, they see everything from a different (most often warped) perspective. He panicked (by his own admission) and I thought it was because Asia takes allegations of pedophilia so much more seriously than the US does. To them, such allegations can be life shattering. Ironically, he said that he wasn't aware of what kind of site lolcow was until I explained it to him. I don't know if I believe that or not, but I can say that I didn't know the extent of what was happening on this site, until well after the call.
When he contacted me, my immediate concern was for his daughter's safety. I directed him to seek professional help from a licensed mental health provider (as I am not one). He stated that he would seek help and would stay off of the internet for an extended period of time.
My first inclinations were to give him space/time to seek professional help. As time passed, and more became public, I was shocked and disgusted. I do not agree with his behavior, and will not continue to defend him. Looking at my history, the last comments that I made on this were on 12/30/17. As soon as I realized how deep the rabbit hole really went, I was done. His actions hurt many people, and I cannot trust him due to all of the lies and manipulations. It saddens me to admit that I allowed this person to try and manipulate me. For that, I am sorry. I can only learn from my mistakes, and try not to let them happen again.

No. He told me he had worked for a multinational company, and that was able to diversify enough to work from home and raise his daughter. There were comments that he had a separate office on premises, and that there was an assistant there sometimes. No names were ever given.

I asked about the multiple YT channels. He said that he posted music that he wrote that he liked, and didn't realize that the lyrics were the same as other songs. He also said that he had been hired by/was working with a company to promote an act (Not sure if that was the Neal Century one or not) and had created a Wikipedia page based off of what the idea was behind it all. He said that he didn't realize that it was not a good way to promote something that hadn't yet happened, which led to it all being pulled down. He often would claim his lack of understanding English at that time as being part of the issue. Posting the Family of 2 videos with his daughter was a way for him to "show that a single father could raise a child on his own" and that he wanted to share some of his ways of parenting.
The other channels were all just hobbies that he dabbled in. I had no idea about his name other than "Josh" and had never heard of Maurice or any of the other alias' away from YouTube.

No names were given. He said that there had been blackmailers after him "for years", and that they said they were going to "destroy him once and for all." I am of the opinion that he thought that he could just disappear as a way to protect her, and didn't think of the long term consequences.

He called me immediately after he called RTG and told her he wasn't dead. The conversation made me believe that he had worked it all through with her. Saged for tinfoiling here, but it recently came to my attention that there was a new account (or two) arguing with each other this morning. Unfortunately, I couldn't grab all the screenshots. I just went into reporting mode, so I apologize for the lack of evidence. However, I'm pretty sure one or both of these accounts are Maurice.
1) Both of them follow a certain pattern of behavior similar to Maurice. Needle attacked accounts that Josh had beef with, but because people are automatically assuming this account is Onision or HiImASociopath, he can get away with saying any fucked up thing he wants. More importantly, Needle went after a well-known Anti-O and threatened to dox her and her child, and Maurice definitely had a vendetta against her, since he was caught posting her pictures in his own thread.
2) Lack of contractions from both Mellisa and Needle. They both have trouble saying "you're" or "can't," one of Josh's more famous Joshisms.
3) Needle doxed Mellisa… kind of. Now, Mellisa updated her account to reveal her general location. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but her general location was not up before Needle revealed it (and btw, Needle also didn't pinpoint the right place either). I tried looking up her information just to see if it could be so easily grabbed, and nada. So, either Mellisa is also Needle (who might be Josh and this is all some sort of set-up to use Onision as scapegoat to do some messed up shit) or Mellisa and Needle know each other.
3) Needle and Mellisa didn't seem to know Josh fake an hero'd. I couldn't grab Needle's side of the convo, but basically Melissa accused him (Greg) of being scared of Josh, and Needle said something along the lines of, "I hope you die like Josh, too." But, uh… Maurice has been the only pushing for Josh being dead, so Idk how either of these two could have missed that tea.
