Hi guys, italian fag here.
Yuriko is the most annoying cosplayer we got here. She's a huge weeb and attention whore. A friend of mine was her boyfriend, so I know her from before.
She used to put videos on Youtube trying hard to be funny and cool with a lot of annoying poses and expressions, giving tips on cosplay and faking modesty while she was full of herself.
Nobody cared about her before that famous trip in Japan, which she got from her parents in order to study the language and not for spreading her legs in front of japanese otakus in some shitty Sonico cosplay. Now she's like a living legend for italian cosplayers and it's nearly impossible to say something slightly bad about her without having to face her huge fandom.
During her trip she started to put a LOT of vlogs about her life in Japan in which she constantly scream "I'm not a weeb, because I don't like a lot of things in Japan" while trying moe poses and faking anime voices.
Every video has the same kind of content, the "uguuu-japan-it's horrible-but-I-feel-so-lucky-to-live-here-and-I'm-so-famous-but-I'm-not-a-weeb-moe-moe-kyuuun" act never stops.
She even spent a lot of time criticizing girls in Japan, saying how skimpy their dresses were that you can see pussies and boobs nearly everywhere from Shibuya to cosplay events and that no one cares about otakus taking pics under their skirts. During that video she acted like she only wears full-covered cosplays, when the truth is that she acts like JNIG taking the same old skimpy cosplays.

I know her in real or at least i knew her when she was younger.
And trust me if i tell you , she is beautiful, and her character is not that bad either..

I went to school with Yuriko, the Art School of Imperia.
Art School is a shithole of weebs and crackheads so Yuriko was one of the most popular girls.
She scammed people so many times oh my god.
She used to have a shopping service (back in 2009, internet shopping wasn't a really big thing, in Italy, especially stuff from Asia) and took money, then if you wanted your stuff, you had to give her more money because "Post office taxes"
In Italy, we don't have taxes until the total price of the item is 25€, she asked for it even for 10€ items.
She often says in her interviews that she used to do cosplay to "cheer herself up because of bullying" but she NEVER got bullied.
She had a lot of friends and the whole painting room was covered in stuff "I love Uriko" (Uriko was her previous name, from Uriko from Bloody Roar) "Uriko is cute" ecc ecc
She stopped going to school in 2010, then went to work at her dad's videogames store.
The Videogames store basically went bankrupt and she had to work in a bakery in Porto Maurizio in Imperia.
Meanwhile there, she was flooding the store with her weeb stuff, to sell them (I remember her asking 15€ for a Rin/Len pen she made herself) and stealing.
I went to a convention with her in Oct.'10 with other people.
We were packed tight in the back and she took 2 sits in the front of the little bus we rented because "Muh lolita outfit"
After getting the money, she flew to Japan to learn japanese and
casually got into Idol's World.
So she came back, to form a Idol Group, the TigerXTokyo, consisting her and two friends, Misaki and Hina.
Me, other two girls and a guy who were friends of her totally got ignored.
Then, she flew back to Japan, leaving TigerXTokyo touring cons without her, because she wanted the fame without moving her ass from her weeaboo room in Tokyo.
These two poor girls just go from con to con to sell her old stuff and dance.
Plus, Yuriko is so stupid that she isn't able to get a visa to permanently stay in Japan.
Every 3-4 months, she comes back here and works in their relatives store, cleaning stuff and needless to say, nobody recognizes her.
And then gets pissed because Japan isnt fast enough to give her her working visa to come back.
5 months back she got salty because she got invited to a very famous tv show in italy and the theme of the show was "Cosplayers and Youtubers vs Real People"
but she wanted the money for the train (Milan-Imperia train ride : approx. 30€) and Mediaset (the tv) basically said to pay it herself, because after the show she would get the money back.
She said "Oh, whatever, I don't need fame in Italy ;)"
On Wikipedia, she often edits it to say, on the Tekken page, that she's the OFFICIAL LILI COSPLAYER when she was invited ONCE to a Namco event, stop.
