I love Lilly’s design so much, he would’ve looked adorable. I think the manga would improve a bit, it would surely have a bunch of yuribait with Mahiru and Sakuya, being Sakuya a yandere best friend gf.

Less tolerable I definitely understand. But I think in turn it makes Shinji-tan a better character. At least significantly more for me. Asuka’s tortured behavior is better understood when she’s not a scrote, and I think fanfare about her would become genuinely insufferable (it’s never been entirely insufferable for me, not to the point where I feel disdain towards the character. Even if it has been agitating many times because of scrotes and easily impressionable young bpd-chans who likely shouldn’t have watched nge in the first place) if she were one. Her narrative against Rei-kun’s would fuel so many subpar takes compared to what we have now. Not that nge theory is reveling in greatness anyways. However, at least with them being male we wouldn’t have to suffer through all the scrote shit they’ve been put through. I think I’d trade that for Shinji-tan getting bullied any day. Plus, Shinji and Kowaru as a girl (depressed mc in kick ass mecha scenes?) would bring something interesting to the table especially if nge would still fall under the shonen tag. Honestly I see Shinji-tan as less of a loser than original Shinji. But I’d hope if this ever was a thing, the sexual harassment type shit was gone too.

samefag I hate and love this idea. I think it’d actually be a fantastic watch or read, easily probable chance to be much better than the original. My only main gripe is that Kyoko would get dragged around and tortured by bpd scrote Haruki and that’s not fun at all. The best parts would be that fortunately all the scrote-ish shit is now being done by men to other men, but unfortunately fans who attempted this genderbend seem hellbent on keeping the female sexual harassment alive even when the characters are like this. It’s retarded and gross but so is the source material.

YOUR HONOR. These are wonderful, excellent taste.
The yakuza genderbends are so fucking perfect. The genderbend episodes are always fun and all, but I think if the concept was approached with slightly more sincerity and episodes it’d be fucking fun to watch. Animators don’t get paid enough and shit but I wish there could at least be a mini webshow about it, written by actual women too because I’d want it to talk about shit women go through without scrote lenses. I’m assuming that’s what they do currently, but it’s ok for me because of the format. The whole idea of a serious mini series should be scrapped though if it meant it’d be the umpteenth iteration of female perspective written by scrotes. Because in that case I’d rather keep Oso as is. And if they ever did this I’d hope they slightly change jyuushiko’s design to at least make her a cuter kuro gyaru kek they made her kind of bland for ganguro despite being extremely flashy.
