Thanks for making the new thread! I wanted to ask a couple of questions, as a noob.

How much dominant PC content is there in DoL? Has the dev talked about putting/avoiding dominant content in the game? Is the reverse rape feature in the DoL+ mod good enough? Or am I gonna have to make a mod for it myself? I only played a bit of DoL last year, so it doesn't feel right for me to be demanding things (like a dominant option) in the current survey.

Are there any other text-based games like DoL where I can play as a female character and be dominant? Or am I gonna have to make it myself? Every "alternative" to DoL that I've found online where you can be dominant is scroteshit with male PCs and female NPCs.

There's way less dominant content than anything else. I haven't played that mod but if it's not enough, there's very little to be had in the main game. The dev hasn't put anything new for dominant players recently to my knowledge. If you're into dominance, that college game someone posted last thread (Something of Temptation, I think? It's on itch.) has customizable PC/NPC genders and has some dominant options available.

For the reverse rape mod you have to train your character at the gym a lot to be able to physically overcome NPCs, plus you have to get raped a lot until you unlock the option to flip the script on the NPCs and start raping them. I haven't seen any mods that have you as dominant from the start.

AYRT, I ended up reading their FAQ and, sadly, reverse rape is on their "hard no" list, as is "PC enjoying their rape" because this is a "trauma simulator" which is probably why I'm turned off by the traumatic aspect of the sex scenes/encounters in this game (I'm not a masochist, I just wish that we had the ability to turn it into fully consensual encounters). I guess DoL isn't for me, after all.
There's a few dominant and assertive features that are planned or being considered, but none of them are forceful or akin to rape:

Vrel is definitely one of those devs who is infinitely boosted by his co-contributors. His name is on the game but a lot of what's in DoL now is from other people, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I honestly think he should delegate more of the NPC writing to people like the person who did Sydney and just have veto power over the final product/be able to give notes. His strengths are clearly as a programmer and project manager (considering how big the game has gotten since first release).

I would love to have Whitney's domination stats to be turned into a "tamed" stats instead, similar to how Sydney's purity turned into corruption. Also, similarly to how you can turn Sydney pure again, Whitney's tamed state will turn back into domination if you don't keep an eye on it.

Sydney is my second fav after Whitney, but the issue I have with Syd though is that he gets pretty boring once you've done his story stuff, since unlike Kylar and Whitney he's pretty stationary to his locations. Kylar and Whitney stays interesting because they also wander around town.
