ok, to post some more conspiracies i will now turn to animal collective.

Also, their respective girlfriends Audrey Kitching and Jac Vaneck (who dated Brendon and Ryan) claimed they would sneak off togehther in the middle of the night and snuggle in the longue room.

I haven't watched the video but imo 100% John was bringing Yoko into the studio because of Paul. Like, it was just super unnecessary and confrontational, Paul was uncomfortable writing with her around and it kept him at arms length. But it's debatable what John actually wanted out of it, maybe Yoko was his security blanket and supported him when he was feeling insecure, maybe it was a power play and he wanted to piss Paul off, maybe he needed distance from Paul and she was like a shield, maybe he straight up wanted to make Paul jealous by parading around his gf and gassing her up as the true superior artist. Bringing an outsider into their workplace was overtly hostile towards them, and he wouldn't have accepted the same thing from the others.
The irony is that Paul was actually going out of his way to be accepting even though he was jealous and upset. Like defending them behind their backs and to the press, going with John to see the chairman about the naked album cover and doing liner notes for it, letting them stay at his home, helping John with the Ballad of John and Yoko, trying to get them back together during the lost weekend, etc. I just think that was the opposite of what John wanted, which was to force Paul to fight for him.

I was reading a fic I LOVED recently, and when I went to her profile for more, every fic after that had my favorite character as a troon. I felt like dying.But that's okay, because on the upside, MCR had a fandom pre-troon contagion, so you can still find decent fic. For ao3, three steps: One, make sure you are always logged in to your account so that you can see locked or hidden fics. Two, always read the tags. Three, sort by "date updated" or "date posted" and then go to the very last page. This will take you right back to the first fics posted when ao3 went into open beta in 2008, and any fics reuploaded from livejournal and backdated.
For fanart, you can search the "last name + 'cest'" tag of your choice (waycest, gallaghercest, etc) on twitter and tumblr, pretty easy. You need to be okay with seeing annoying moralfags, but they're clinically unable to shut the fuck up, so you get a lot of artist recs ranging from passable to excellent. There's a lot of Chinese artists beating them away with sticks on Twitter right now, so there should be some fun stuff for you to see.

Okay, but now I was just reminded of this site I used to browse in 2009 that was dedicated to rock band RPF. I read a Beatles fic author there that completely changed my brain chemistry, to this day I look for people that write like her (it's nothing extraordinary, but as a 16 y/o, the prose looked amazing). She would write very short fics, usually with a third person narrator but in a really intimate way, and would make fics that seemed really believable to me (like John and Paul going skinny dipping after a drinking night)
I don't remember the site name, but I remember being heartbroken when it went down, I tried accessing it with wayback machine but obviously I couldn't access the actual fics through it. I'm pretty sure the site was blue and had the classic Abbey road crossing silouette somewhere. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Kek
Also that particular author had an old Paul and Ringo fic (purely platonic) that was an Day After Tomorrow AU lol I wish I could read it again.

If you prefer podcasts, the breakup series by One Sweet Dream and the 'mistake in many ways' series by Another Kind of Mind are musts (all this stuff is by women btw, male beatle fans don't know shit and you cant trust their interpretations of anything because john Lennon is their self insert).
There's so many books and interviews it's hard to pick which ones are best, I've read a tonne but truthfully you'll see the best bits just by spending enough time on tumblr. There's loads of meta analysis and quotes posted there all the time.
