KoD is definetly a huge increase in DPS in relation to Lumiere but also he is quite heavily dependent on using the solar pair with the companion. He's still plenty strong without it tho and completely usable but if you only really want a companion for yellow stellacrums, I'm not sure he is the right choice… we also have no idea when the 1st round of limited myths will rerun (or if they will at all, the rumour going around is that next year we will not have new myths after Caleb's or reruns of myths, that next year they'll rerun multis instead) so maybe he's the only option for a while. I think if the issue is stella matching yellow SHC then getting LSG would have been better but if you want a companion for Light Orbit or even just stella matching General Orbit he's amazing and can carry multiple levels without being properly at all (I was stuck at 110 light orbit and now am breezing through Xavier's orbit levels and I dont even have proper protocores for him yet). You dont need all 3 companions for Xavier's trials, Lightseeker fucking sucks so I always changed him up for Lumiere anyway and now I change him for KoD and it's disgusting how much better he is.
Its very clear that the new round of myths have significant powercreep and that they are designing them in a way that you must play with the intended weapon, using Claymore is just not worth here, I think.

The aurum pass is only more worth the money than the regular gem packs for as long as you're actually able to claim the daily gems, since it would be 5 dollars for 300 purple + 3000 red gems. However, this is so far away that it's better to just get the regular gem packs. If you have more than a six months of aurum literally just get the gems instead.
