Are any of you guys secretly bloggers? Don't worry, you don't have to share your identity.

I'm just curious, what do you guys think we should see more of in the blogging/vlogging world today?

Do any of you guys want to become bloggers/vloggers?

When do you think the best time to start is and when do you think the worst time to start is?

What would you blog/vlog about and why would it be unique?

I used to blog back before it became a thing and it was just really an online journal of sorts… and then it became big and you can make money from it and stuff but I've never done it. I've tried to get my mom to do it, but she doesn't listen to me about ways she can make money doing stuff she already does (and people steal off of Facebook.)

I want to vlog, but I don't want to join the legions of Beauty YT-ers even though I don't look like a standard pretty white girl (but don't get me wrong I do like Zoella, Grace and the like) or some kind of pretty East Asian and the only other thing I'm good at is art, and I don't have the space to do that properly for video.

Otherwise I wouldn't want to vlog about topical shit because I'd rather not come off as misinformed and judgemental.

Teal Deer: I don't blog/vlog because I'm not unique enough to stand out.

I think there isn't a great deal left you can really do. Everyone seems to be doing the same kind of thing.

If you started out in 2007/2008 then you've got a better chance of getting somewhere than now.

Blogging is like 'the easy way' so everyone wants to do it.

I have an idea I'd like to go with though. I'm currently doing animation/illustration and I like to sing. I'm a big fan of yanagi nagi's amvs, I'd love to do something similar. Sing but they're based on stories which would go with the videos I'd make. But I can't play instruments to save my life… That's the downfall. So I'd have to learn on top of that.

Or maybe… for each story/video, I'd have taken guitar lessons so it'd open with me singing and looking cute then the video would fade out into the animation and the story would take place… It'd be like music videos I guess.

I've dwelled on the idea. But it's not a blog I want to do per say. I want to do a singing/cover channel, and if I get "big enough" do little vlogs here and there. I really want to connect with different singing personalities (Peter Hollens for example), and probably dabble in the blogging in the fashion/life community. Anyways, I want to, but I don't have the courage. I can't listen to my own voice because I find it stuffy, but other people say they find it nice? Not like Beyonce but decent. So that already takes out my singing idea, and then I find myself boring so I don't want to seem fake or quirky while doing a vlog. Sigh, I just want an internet presence farmers…. :(
It's a dream I guess.

I used to run a tech blog. It was fairly popular.

I have a kind of shitty Tumblr with about 2.2k followers. I think the only reason I even have that many is because I've maintained the same account for 4 or 5 years now. I could probably have more followers if I divided my content into multiple themed blogs, but I can't be bothered to do that, so I just dump everything into the one I have.

I briefly tried to get a vlog going. It was a fucking mess. I'm terrible on camera.

Idk but I kindd want to do vlogging with other people from around the world with similar interests but ehhh, doubt it'd work out.

I think most vloggers are annoying pieces of shit and waste of oxygen.

I ran a japanese news site that used to be popular. It's alot of work, hiring staff can be helpful but stressful in a way.
