Terms to describe type of radfems on tumblr. Weird and freakfem are usually more unhinged and have autistic interest, with freakfem being a bit coomerish. Weebfem are weeaboo radfems.

There's also nicefems, radfems who are nice to those with genuine question, factfems, radfems with sources of trannies being bad and good with arguing, and rudefems, those who are rude to ppl asking questions in a stupid manner and hardcore tranny haters.

I don't usually wear any makeup so one day, when I had to let a girl at school do my makeup, I didn't look at myself the whole day until I went home, but everyone else reacted to me with shock (I thought because I looked so much better than usual). My mom was horrified when she saw me, and then I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked like a completely different person, I didn't even look real. It was scary, the girl really went overboard. So yes, I imagine wearing tons of makeup like that all the time would give someone dysmorphia.

I think that happens whenever you move imageboards tbh. You're fed up with the issues the previous one has to the point that you're ready to move to a place that doesn't have them. But spend enough time there and you'll start to become frustrated with its own problems too.

Here’s how I see it (as someone who goes out most of the time with no/very little makeup) I’m aware I look better in the eyes of society when I wear makeup, it doesn’t mean I think I’m ugly without it, I just am not blind to the fact that makeup (when done properly lol) makes everyone look better. Even men. On days where I’m going to need to be assertive or I want to stand out or feel powerful, makeup is a must and it would be silly to pretend my presence will command the same attention wearing no makeup messy hair and sloppy clothes as when all done up. People don’t see your personality first, they see your looks, so it doesn’t matter how confident your “energy” is if you don’t have any intimidation factor in your looks. This is also why most days when I’m just running errands I opt for none or just a little— I don’t want attention from men when I’m shopping for groceries at Walmart.
Ultimately some women who wear makeup often do have BDD, sure, but some are fine with their eye bags, sparse brows, uncontoured nose etc. and are just aware of the practically magical power women can wield over men if they utilize makeup, and how convenient it can make certain situations, while making others more uncomfortable

debit cards are ones tied directly to your bank account and use what you have in there to pay for things (and for getting money from your bank's ATM). They don't build a credit score. Credit cards are ones where you buy things within a given limit the company you get it from thinks you'd be responsible with and you pay that amount back over time as you use it. You can increase your credit limit as time goes on if you show responsible habits (making payments on time, your general income increases, etc)
You can get credit cards through your bank. I got one there at first because no one would give me one without a credit score lmao

idk if you're from the US or not, but you can try applying for a Capital One card or Discover (as much as I like my Discover, it's not accepted everywhere. You'd be better off with getting a Visa one of some sort)

… this probably didn't help all that much. Just avoid getting any credit cards that department stores offer you because they tend to have stupid high interest rates if you don't pay off what you owe on them immediately. Also try and find ones that don't have you pay an annual fee to have

you can get a secured card to build up your credit score. within time you should be able to qualify for a credit card with probably a fairly low limit (at first) and just keep working on it to boost your credit and show that you're consistent. you can also have someone else add you to their credit card (someone you trust, like your parents or something), and provided they pay their cards on time it'll help boost your credit score tremendously so you'll be able to get better cards sooner. if you have only one or two cards you'll be seen as having a thin credit file, so it wouldn't hurt to get a few cards (not all at the same time, wait and do it as you build your credit and your score goes up). try not to carry any balances if possible and like another anon said, check out the ALL terms of these credit card offers. if you pay any utilities or cable/internet, phone bills routinely you can link them to things like experian and it can help boost your score. you don't need a consistent income to get a credit card, no. check experian and creditkarma for help. they give you a good rundown.

Like…actual change, not just changing their circumstances and “tricking” themselves. There’s this Japanese proverb, and I don’t exactly remember it, but it says something akin to this: a person’s soul at 3 is the same at 100. All types of people are interested in change, and want it, and daydream about it, but I don’t know if meaningful change is possible. Maybe people can revert to an earlier, better state, or work with something that’s been dormant in them, but actual change? I don’t know. I don’t know if you can change without switching from one unfulfilling act to another, and just maintaining an illusion.

i think that proverb is really stifling and ridiculous tbh, no offense. all sorts of things can cause people to change. i don't believe a person necessarily has a "fixed" personality or state of being. who we are and who we can become depends on all sorts of factors and experiences. i think it's pretty limiting and kind of weird to suggest that a person necessarily has a fixed state of nature, basically.

Nah. People go back to college all the time. There are people, people that I've even seen post here, wondering if 25+ is "too old" to go back to college. I've sat in multiple classes with people well into their 40s or older and literally no one gives a fuck. Who cares if you change your major a few times? Expecting people entering their 20s/in their early 20s to make a decision that is suppose to lay out the rest of their life is scary and honestly kind of dumb. I'm 27 now, and only a semblance of who I was in college. Yet I was expected to make major life decisions as a stupid 18 year old.

I am also not particularly passionate or good at anything. I did a random major that fell in line with what I wanted to do, which was to study abroad, and now I just do admin work in an office. It's not exciting work, but it's not particularly strenuous and I get paid. I have a friend who majored in business, an arguably useful major, who is now going back to school at 27 for a completely unrelated masters degree. People start med school all the fucking time when they're old as shit, there's a guy that that youtuber Dr. Mike spoke about- I think the guy was his attending physician and the dude had a whole career as an engineer before going back for med school.

The only thing that matters is how much you'll be stuck paying for college. It might not be bad to take a semester or year off and just work or internships (hopefully paid!) and see if anything clicks. Maybe you'll never find that "this is my life passion" click, but even a "I can see myself dealing with this long term" click is good enough.

You'll probably be on the other side at some point too. Life isn't a linear experience and I think people are a lot more understanding now, because everything has been going to shit lately. You'll find people truly content in their lowly fields, and others fucking miserable and going through the motions for their 6 figure salary, but the latter won't let you know it because appearances are important of course.

To say "you don't know what the other person is going through" sounds like some hippie shit your parents tell you to feel better, but it's true! The amount of times I've been taken aback speaking with old friends who I think are having the time of their life- beautiful partners, great job in a respectful field, etc, who confide in me that they're struggling and hate where they're at, has taught me that it really is true that you don't know what someone's going through. You could also be perfectly content doing some lame ass shit for a living and someone who hates you will still shit on you for it.

Really, just focus on yourself. Good friends won't care where you are in life and will be there to help you.

Death is though, and it always makes you sad when it happens to a loved one. But it's something inevitable, and I'm not saying it in the doomer way, but in the accepting way. I had anxiety over it and it took me a good year to feel a little better but the Truth is that I think about death every single day, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. It's not crippling anymore but I can't live like this, and you can't either. I'm not very spiritual but having faith helps people to cope. Recently I have decided to treat my death anxiety like I would a phobia. Maybe a change of mindset can help? Think of death as the one thing that is absolutely certain in your life. You have no control of the life you or anyone else lives. Life is everything from chaotic and fun to boring and tedious. Isn't it nice to know that it won't be like that forever? Life is beyond your control, but death is reassuring. It's safe. It's the one thing you have in common with everything and everyone you know. Once you're gone, there won't be a you to care about being dead either. Why worry about something that once it happens, won't mean anything at all?

I wish I had an answer for you nona. I started fretting over my parents death, and with my dog at 18 years old and slowly losing her ability to walk and see… it's terrible to know that the inevitable is right at my doorstep. All I can say is cherish those around you, don't hold grudges. You can't run from death. I tell my parents, my dog, my friends, at every opportunity possible that I love them, because I'm terrified of one of us dying and them not knowing that. Of course they know that I love them, but I always feel like I have to say it and show it, just in case it's the last we'll ever see of each other.

Accepting that death is inevitable is easier said than done, but I do think that the finality of our existence makes it all the more precious. Why bother wasting energy on fighting with others or being mad about things or holding grudges? One day things will be over, and all we can do is try to make the best of the time we have left.

Apparently, being thinner means there’s more space for the stomach to expand into. If you continuously practice eating more, your stomach will stretch no matter how much you weigh. Many male eating contest winners are pretty lean. A fatter man would obviously be used to eating a lot but that’s only part of it, as competitions (and I guess mukbangs to an extent) are more about managing stomach space. They could also exercise to increase their metabolism and appetite as well as other things for digestion.

I ask because I have tried dozens of updos to keep my hair from flying in all directions and frizzing out at one gust of wind - and no hairspray helps - and the side braids are the only one that doesn't put any strain on my sensitive scalp (even a bit of pull causes a lot of hair loss).

I'm not really sure what to do because I was told a few times that it's inappropriate for grown women. To me, it brings out the best qualities of my hair, like how shiny it is which is usually ruined because it bushes up so quickly when loose.

Except I got so nauseous to the point that my legs were shaking and I was sweating even though I was sitting in an air-conditioned room. After the meeting, I went to the bathroom to throw up and I also had diarrhea? And I was super nauseous driving home too. Then I made myself something light to eat for dinner and I do feel a lot better, but still a little woozy. Has this happened to other people before? I guess my motion sickness triggered it, but obviously it seems like something else was going on. Idk this happens to me maybe like once or twice per year. I'm tempted to say maybe I felt sick because I didn't eat much today (I think I had a scone, grapes, and some veggie straws), but there have been days where I've eaten less and been completely fine (not anachan btw just busy). I just want to know what triggers this because even though it doesn't happen often, it was still embarrassing to have to cut the meeting short because of how sick I was feeling. Two summers ago I had to ask to leave my internship early because of the exact same thing that just happened out of nowhere.

I feel like there might be a few people who could fit the label, but the fact that I only see kweer genderspecials using it, and saying stuff like: 'you can want to have sex and also be ace!!!' makes me doubt it's validity. Is it just a name for people with low libido who don't wanna hoe around, or women who've experienced some sort of sexual trauma and lost their sex drives due to it? I've actually heard women who used to use the ace label say these things, and that their libido increased once they found a loving attractive partner/resolved and healed from their trauma.

asexuality isn't a real sexuality like being bi or lesbian. there's a huge difference between not wanting sex mentally, because men fucking suck, and not feeling sexual arousal or attraction. to me not feeling any arousal is a sign of a problem. most people are able to feel sexually aroused just on their own naturally. whether it's physical or psychological, it's not a good thing that should be embraced. and i think in general the woke crowd has the wrong idea about what being understanding about illnesses and disorders should be. compassion and acceptance that they exist is totally different than embracing obvious issues.

Up until that point I thought it was impossible but those dudes did change my mind. I still think it's pretty rare but it definitely can happen.

Isn't your friendship proof that it's possible? I do think it's very rare for a straight woman and a straight man entering a friendship without at least one party hoping for more, if not a relationship then at least sex. The reality is that straight men, generally, look different at friendships with the opposite sex than straight women do.

It is a real thing, but not in the way most people think it is. A grown adult without a libido is asexual, which is typically caused by a medical issue - be it natal (for example autism) or induced by drugs (for example "trans" kids). The people who think you can be asexual but still be into sex are just ashamed of their own sexuality and/or want to have/not have casual sex. It's like saying you can actively drink alcohol while being sober, they're contradictory.

There's a detrans guy who reported he was straight until he transitioned and messed with his hormones, which made him attracted to men, but that went away again when he detransed. So it's likely there's probably some kind of hormonal issue with asexual people, it may or may not be "curable" depending on the person and what caused it. I was asexual for many years (as an adult), I had 0 sexual urges at all and didn't even masturbate because I never wanted or needed to, it didn't bother me at all but I am now trying to see if I can get back to having some kind of sexuality again.

I had no sexual feelings til I was 20 and even then it was pretty minimal for another 10 years after that. It ruined some otherwise good relatiosnhips for me and then at 30 (by the time I was too burnt by failed relatonships to even bother anymore) my sex drive went through the roof.

If I were born 10 years later I might've fallen into the 'I'm asexual' crowd but reflecting on it now I was put on SSRIs from 12 to 16 and then it was just very slow going. I don't think its unusual for women in particular to not hit their sex drive peak til much later than guys. Like muuch later in some cases. It all subject to change.

That would take me awhile to explain, but the TLDR is that it's a woman. She uses 'masculine' pronouns (pronouns don't really exist in Japanese, so it's just eng translators agenda) in order to LARP as her samurai idol, but she is and will always be a biological woman according to an author. Imagine a kid roleplaying as their favorite character, aspiring to be them, basically. She uses the 'masculine' pronouns as a joke without any tranny motive, there is no gender identification involved and the author's been telling that for a long time. Idk why sjw weebs keep trying to say that it's a guy which she isn't.

The only person that started drama was ran off, lol.

No one that asked was let in and it stayed stealth and is still going on. Pretty sure finding small groups of other women then starting such groups is the way instead of trying to get as many people as possible.

With the server I was on, I think the sense of comradery as well as a shared enemy (we had come from a series of servers that had a lot of…weird or creepy behavior) helped.

I told mine for the first time today about my sexual abuse, it was my first time speaking about it to anyone and he wrote it all down but he was so fucking dismissive and I have this fear it’ll come out one day in the future if something happens in court or under the law in front of my family. Whenever I start liking a guy, he makes some sexist/racist/anti semitic joke or remark and it kills my attraction completely. Is it possible to find a man who actually, legitimately doesn't hold sexist or racist views? Am I being too demanding and uncompromising? How do I get myself a Nigel???

The guy I'm talking to right now is smart and funny, but he says some dumb shit sometimes. When I try to tell him why it bothers me, he's dismissive or just limply agrees so we can change the subject. I know relationships are supposed to be about compromise, so is this something I should compromise about? Am I being too demanding and looking for a perfect man with perfect ideals, which is impossible? When I say that he's "limply agreeing", is that just me never being satisfied with anything? Is there such a thing as a non aggravating man? Am I just an irrational man hater? How am I supposed to know where to draw the line of "he has different views from me and that's fine"?

Red flag. He knows it bothers you and he doesn't care. Dump him.
>How am I supposed to know where to draw the line of "he has different views from me and that's fine"?
Different views, for me, means something that is possible to change and doesn't alter your worldview that much, if that makes sense? For example, you like green, I like purple. Musical tastes, hobbies, fashion styles… but things like religion and political views are different because it can directly affect how you view and interact with the world in a more profound way. That’s not necessarily the standard in america. I lived with my parents for the first half of undergrad since my school was in the next town over, but most of my classmates didn’t have the same privilege because they were from out of state. That allowed me to pay tuition myself (went to a private university where most of the cost was subsidized so it wasn’t that expensive). Later I moved out to have more of a social life and they covered my tuition while I covered my living expenses. Once I started grad school I wasn’t paying tuition and so I asked them to stop giving me money. They fought back at first but eventually conceded. I was 23 at that point. They did pay my health insurance until I was 26 and got kicked off, though. While it’s less common to live with your parents in college, that’s usually the kid’s choice and not the parents. Financial support is super common, though not universal.

My dad’s parents helped him through college, too. My mom’s did not—grandpa believed women didn’t need to be well educated so he refused to help.

Ask yourself about other times you felt ashamed like this, common themes between the interactions, what exactly you're ashamed of, when in childhood you first became aware of these feelings, etc. Look into shame and self image workbooks, perhaps social anxiety as well. In my northen mexican experience (might be different to others), it depends what food you're offering. Things like bread, candy, some fruits, sugar cane, and things that don't rot easily etc are often used for those altars you see at schools and goverment buildings so they stay there for some weeks. In the case of mole and other dishes that need to be eaten soon, you bring them the day of the celebration, let it stay there for a bit (maybe you pray or do a small remembrance or celebration meanwhile) and then you eat it with the dead. I'm sure there's some places where they dgaf and leave the food there for a biiiig while though

I'm currently sitting in just my undies after throwing away every last bit of clothing I had. I was ruthless and there was probably pieces I most definitely could still wear and would want to, but the damage is done and I can't retrieve them, it's nasty in there.

I've been looking to start buying basic pieces but idk what they'll be because I can't settle on an aesthetic or style. It's one of the reasons why I felt I needed to throw away everything, I couldn't match things. I really like the tomboyish look, militarish, or at least cargopants-ish, but it feels too juvenile, I'm 22 and mature looking. I also really like bohemian style but I feel like it would blend into me too much. I also really like the coquette aesthetic but again, I'm too mature and also not feminine enough. I also really like mori kei which I guess is like boho but I think I would make it look frumpy because you have to be really cute to pull it off. Then I also really like some cyberpunk fashion. I also hold a special place in my heart for 1920s fashion, it embraces my type of silhouette. Problem with this one is it's expensive and hard to find pieces and it could look costume-y. Plus idk if my face is delicate enough to dress like that. If I could I would wear their lingerie though because everything from that era is just perfect to me.

But seriously though, I don't know what to go for, how do I figure it out? which out of all of those is it hardest to go wrong with? I can't stay in my undies forever. Is there anyway to incomrporate all of those into one cohesive style that doesn't look tacky? I can't think anything those styles have in common. Should I just go for something else entirely? How would you dress a 22 year old with a meh androgynous face? Thinking of just buying dresses I like and calling it a day.

Depends on your garment and how much wear you got out of it, washing some things too often will ruin them quicker. I wash half a batch of clothes when my hamper gets full maybe once a week, I make sure I have enough clean stuff to wear until then. I will rewear shorts, jeans, jackets, cardigans and sweaters if they aren't sweaty or messed up but pretty much always put shirts bras and underwear I wore already in the clothes bin. I think washing everything after every wear is excessive unless you've been really getting them dirty.

>Thinking of just buying dresses I like and calling it a day.
Why not do just exactly that? Why do you have to have a specific style, and why do you have to restrict yourself to that specific one? You're not a cartoon character that has to wear the same outfit everyday.

No. 1327278

>>1327266
It's just I don't wanna spend money buying clothes to fit a style and then turning out that style doesn't really fit me. Dresses are straight forward enough, just pair it with whatever shoes. You have a point about the cartoon character thing though. If I knew for certain I could pull off all of those this wouldn't be a thing I obsess about

Androgyny is a huge plus in a lot of the fashions you listed, you shouldn't consider it a failing. If trouble matching things stresses you out the most, tomboy / military esque stuff is the hardest to mess up but also probably the least interesting. I would still say stockpiling that style for the days you don't feel like being stared at / commented on if you do go for something more outlandish is good though, it's something to fall back on.

I don't think it originates from childhood trauma, a few years ago I was still able to socialize and make friends just fine and it was a totally normal part of my life. Or at least, I don't remember feeling so alienated when I came home from school or after meeting my friends and classmates. I think being a NEET for two years, not talking to many people outside of my immediate family, general isolation and the pandemic gave me social anxiety so I'm not used to socializing anymore. Mind you, I actually look forward to it every time, but afterwards I think about all the embarrassing little things I did or said, or simply feel like I don't belong with whatever group of people I just hanged out with. It also seems to happen more when I interact with a group.
I'll reflect on it more and try to address this feeling from now on.

also this bit of the article rubbed me off the wrong way
>In an interview with Reuters, he said “But a middle-aged woman, overweight, with 2.4 children? I’m not at all sure she’d benefit from abandoning bras.”

anyways I know you weren't asking me and feels like you have a grudge against chestlets, but if I were you I wouldn't worry about it too much. Men (and women) are most likely to stare if you have like, your nipples poking out, so if they're sensitive or longish I'd just make sure they don't show through with some especial tape or something. Good luck

No. 1327913

I do with darker colored and thicker fabrics. You can also wear a tank top under your shirts to make nipples less visible. Letting your muscles develop to support your breasts is good. My posture is still bad because I feel bad standing straight, but I did the same with bras so it doesn't matter.
>what's your mindset
for perverts, I know they'll sexualize big breasts no matter what and I can't control their reaction. thinking about judgmental women, mostly feel pity. if they have smaller breasts they don't get it and I pity that they are stuck in this culture of wearing bras even if they don't need them, and for women with larger breasts I still pity because they're dependent on this garment to not be in pain.

Im gonna say no and that you arent used to heels so you cant balance in them. I honestly learned to walk in 2 inch heels as a kid then preteen-teen could wear 3-6inch but the actual soles and WHERE the heel is placed make a world of a difference. Some heels are dumb with the heel not properly under your foot so the support is awful. Start with thick heels then work your way up to stiletto if you want. How accurate are polygraph tests? My sisters want me to take a polygraph to see if I really am telling the truth about my stepfather molesting me because they’re ‘confused’ about my ‘version’ of how it happened. My mom keeps telling everyone that I was confused about who really touched me due to her denial but idgaf about that anymore and stand with my convictions.

I read that these tests are not always accurate in terms of truth/lies and am worried if the tests might prove I’m lying when there are things I may not recall due to repressed memories because I’ve been trying to forget for so long that I’m afraid I may not be accurate in exactly how it happened or if what I’m saying is true.

Polygraph tests are extremely unreliable and can both be actively deceived and give a wrong results by accident.
It's pseudoscience quackery with no empirical basis, but it makes some companies a lot of money.

Even if you pass your family can google it and find that the tests can be gamed and take this as a reason to dismiss the result, and if you fail it, they will take it to confirm their prejudice and not look into it further.

I was molested by my brother and he attempted to have sex with me and it didn't work because my genitals were too small and I told my parents about it when I was a kid and he fessed up to like 25% of what actually happened. I got so much shit for it I just am basically no contact as an adult. They fucking told my relatives it was consensual sex play and to this day, i think families will nearly always side with the abuser. I feel like the only choice I have to prove is to caught him red-handed whenever he’s acting funny. I just turned 31 and still have to put up with him constantly terrorizing me. They don’t understand that I’ve been in ‘survival’ mode and not act like a typical abuse victim in order to go on with life, or that I get scared when I’m completely alone with him but sure, they’re confused. rolls eyes

He's an unstable mess. He was love bombing me within weeks of meeting. When that girl sent the friend request I looked at her profile and all her profile photos and cover photos from when me and the guy went official have been liked by him. The most recent one was last week. He feigned ignorance over who she even was, then called her an old friend. His story keeps changing. First he never messaged her and now the only reason her name is at the top is because of her stories, they've been Snapchatting. I wouldn't haven't have even considered him being romantically interested in her if she hadn't requested to be my friend, then block me when she realised she did it but I already saw a few of their interactions. I have male friends, I don't care if he has female friends but for him to get so defensive and then bring his dead mum into this and get so aggro and defensive just shows he clearly does have feelings for her. So I've had this non-dairy coffee creamer for a few months and today when I opened the bottle I saw that near the mouth of the bottle there was some mold on the inside. The actual creamer looked okay, just the area on the inside of the mouth of the bottle was a little moldy where there was residual cream. I poured a little in a cup and tasted it- seemed completely fine. I felt like it would be a waste to throw away the whole thing just because there was mold at the top of the bottle, so I poured the rest into a separate bottle so that I can continue to use it. Is this an okay idea? I usually go by the rule of if it tastes okay then it should be okay to consume, but now I'm paranoid lol. Last week I randomly got super sick one day (vomiting, upset stomach, sweating, etc) and I'm wondering if it was food poisoning-related or something (I haven't drank this creamer in a while so it wasn't because of that). Anyways, yes. I'm what people these days now call gender non-conforming, although I could swear people would've used 'tomboy' over five or so years ago but apparently that's a term that's only used for for girls?
If I wasn't an asocial wierdo I would've given you advice that isn't to "just say you're straight" or to "not worry too much about it. After all, all it amounts is a fashion choice, right?".
But still, is there something wrong with simply saying that you're straight and that you just like dressing the way you do? I found that most normies, even gay ones, go "ah, okay" or something like "oh, I'm sorry…"(for assuming you were gay) before continuing on with the conversation.
The only people who seriously think I'm gay are family but that mainly because of schiziod-tier tendencies and lack of a boyfreind/dating history than how I look or act.

So far I thought about;
>buying products in large batches now before it gets more expensive (I'm thinking rice, pasta, canned food, washing detergent, etc, things that last)

Thank you guys. It seems like a common experience then. We’re definitely going backwards cause like the last anon said, there used to be tomboys but to my knowledge no one really seriously questioned their gender or sexuality, at least not like today. I wouldn’t describe myself as a tomboy cause I’m otherwise not really interested in stereotypically masculine things I just like to wear clothes from the mens section, have short hair, talk in a more matter of fact manner and I don’t date, that’s all. If I said this shit on twitter I’m sure I’d be diagnosed with troonism right now. It’s really not a big deal and I have no problem explaining myself but I used to get some remarks about it (which I called out as they came from “don’t assume gender/sexuality” libfems) thats what kinda made me aware. Before that I really didn’t think about how I was perceived.

Word of advice: do not bulk buy if you are not one that is used to live that way. Make food lists and keep them within your budgets instead. In terms of heating, lower your indoor temperature to a degree where you feel comfortable under a plaid. An unheated house might cause harm to your house, like having pipes burst. Hygiene is important, so have a quick shower every day, but keep a bucket in the shower to catch the excess water. You can use it to wash dishes for example. If you have the space for it, invest in a small uv lamp and keep an around the year herb and salad pot in your kitchen to spruce up your food. The easiest way to save money is to live with other people and pool your resources. Spending time with others might help you develop skills like crafts or simple home repair. Swap and share things with others, like tools.

No I won't, she's way too sensitive so it would backfire no matter how nice and subtle my friends and I could be. She knows her health issues but doesn't really care beyond not liking her health issues. Her POCS seems severe compared to the average cases I guess because she got an ovary removed as a teen because her doctors from back then were incompetent and dismissive so that doesn't help. For example she has a hard time walking because her legs and feet often hurt and her doctors told her it's mostly from her weight (she's morbidly obese) and while she jokes about her size often she hates when her doctors gently give her advice to go on a diet. She ballooned up since covid, and right before the pandemic started she told me she saw a doctor to get a lipo asap, which couldn't happen because of the first lockdown. I want to encourage her to be more physically active and to not overeat like she currently does but it's not working, she needs to become motivated enough by herself so she's ready to listen to others and receive encouragement. Her mental health isn't at its best either. So I'm not sure what to do.

>Tfw people miss my codependent ass after the relationship is gone and want more once they break ties with me.
Literally every person I ever got close to has come back begging for more attention from me after thier next relationship/friendships were emotionally unfullfilling.
I dont think this is a good thing but I guess I always had a dream in which I could have a very liberating healthy family dynamic in which we accept each other whole. As a child I grew up in an uncertain household and my parents didn't take care of me. I think the most earliest memories is my mother pushing me away when I tried to hug her.
So when I grew close to a friend I got super happy and invested everything into our connections. For other girls my age I'd make flower crowns and think of them by going to the 1 dollar store and buying them gifts. Even in my adulthood I still did the same. If we had a fall out they always came back expecting the same behavior and kindness from me but I guess I was never really trusting because my parents showed me how to protect myself. Which was to never again open up to whoever it is that rejected me.
Once these people realize I won't open up them the same way again they lose it. I had a friend sob in front of my door to get me to come out. I had another friend trying to come into my house uninvited. I don't like being this way so I want to go into therapy to work on creating healthy boundaries with myself and a future partner.

As somebody who lives in an area that consists of 98% Indian, i think im qualified to answer. It's because a lot of them use water without soap. They believe water is clean and therefore anything else is a contamination to the water itself. Diet with strong spices contribute to the off putting smell like turmeric. It only accentuates the smell coming from their glands even more because they use waaay too much seasoning. As for the men, you know how in general men don't wipe their ass because they think it's gay? Indians believe toilet paper is nasty. They use their left hand to clean their butt poorly with only water and with their fingers. They don't use soap to wash their hands either. This is why a lot of people who aren't used to Indian food get sick. It's usually riddled with e.coli. But anyways, i didn't learn this myself my Indian roommate told me this because i asked her why she never washes her hands before cooking. I made a sandwich and decided for once to use mayonnaise but I guess I really hate the stuff because I realized after the fact that my mayo had an expiration date in 2020. It didn't smell or taste funny but now I'm wondering if I'm in for some exciting food poisoning. I should have went with mustard. Anyway has anyone eaten old mayo without consequence?

I'm having trouble with understanding if I'm the asshole in this situation.

I have a friend who will text me shit about his day as it happens (usually). He'll text me shit like "there are no parking spaces at uni today"/"I'm hanging out and drinking with friends"/"I just went for a bike ride"/"I walked my dogs today"/etc. Just the most boring and mundane shit. Am I the bitch if I get annoyed about it? Like, he's a good friend but I genuinely do not give a fuck about his boring-ass day. I'd care more if he had something more interesting to share, like if he got a speeding ticket or whatever the fuck (just a random example) because that's not something that happens everyday. But, fucking seriously? Telling me this boring drivel AS IT FUCKING happens. Like why the fuck are you liveblogging to me. Am I the bad person here? Do people actually care about their friend's boring lives? Should I give a fuck when he texts me about his mom texting him? I feel like I'm making myself go crazy.

I do like him, he's a good friend and he's fun to hang out with. I just hate having to respond to texts, having to come up with some reply to the boring shit (this is hard because it's boring to me), and then having to hear him talk about the same shit he's told me before sometimes (I have a really good memory when it comes to other people, so sometimes he'll bring up shit he's told me like 4 other times and it's because he doesn't remember sharing the incredibly mundane detail, but I do remember it) (he doesn't have dementia, other people do the same thing and it drives me up the wall in the same way). Sometimes having friends makes me feel like I'm going insane because it gets to a point where it feels like a time loop I can't escape. Great guy, wonderful guy, but it drives me crazy.

Don't do retail because it's a different side to the same coin as food, meaning just another version of hell. I left and got an office job. I wouldn't lie because I'm a fucking pussy and afraid of that shit coming back to bite me in the ass, but it was a bit of a struggle for me to break into admin/office work because I had no prior office experience and they really cared about that… as if retail did not prepare me to work in extremely physically and mentally demanding circumstances. Office work is a cinch and there is not a single day that passes by that is as difficult as a slow day when I worked in retail. If you go the route of not wanting to lie about past experience, really ham up the customer service aspect because that's what really counts. Also work with recruiters. They can be really annoying and ghost you, but it's worth a try while you send out applications yourself. I got my first receptionist job through a recruiter.

I would like to know why gay men are obsessed with mental ill women like Trisha and lovelypeaches to the degree that they are. Is it a spectrum thing.

Bit of a late reply but I just smoked a bit of weed before working out for a while. I would say for the first week I'd get a teeny tiny bit stoned (like one hit off a one hitter) before working out. It's what pushed me to keep working out because I ended up loving working out while high. I had to stop because of covid but now I can work out without smoking, so. I hope this is a viable option for you bc ngl it did change my whole outlook on excercise! If not, then you should try doing like 5 minutes of moderate cardio, see how you feel, try another 5, and then keep adding 5 minutes day by day until you feel able enough to keep up the 30-45 minutes.

Can someone figure out what the fuck happened to me years ago when I went to school all stressed? I had a weird morning where I was sure everyone was staring at me, no reason but I somehow thought they all knew just how much of a wreck I was, they were either pitying or amused by me, even when I didn't see anyone actually looking at me. At my subway station, all the neon lights felt 1000% brighter and I just sat down and stared at some lit up billboard thing until I felt so fucking weird like I was in a game and just fucked off back home, at home I felt kinda unreal and just slept it off more or less. What the fuck was that.

Samefag; also remember you don't have to do any excercise you don't want to do. You can just do excercise that you think would be easy or fun. It helped me to think that I can just do the fun stuff if I'm doing this for my health and mind and not because I want to get physically "in shape". Just moderate moving around will help you out tremendously in the long run and you will most likely be able to feel some positive effects by week 2 if you keep it up. You might even feel it sooner.

Art historian anon here; from an academic perspective the painting is worthless. The perceived value in it basically begins with normies liking the picture and Banksy gaining notoriety. They get prints of it and put them up at home, get t-shirts and bags with the image on it. It’s something that looks edgy and is easy to understand and makes people believe that they are cool arty types by association. Then banker bros start buying into the hype because of how recognisable an image it’s become. Kind of like how NFTs of very recognisable images fetch very high prices, it’s not necessarily that the image is genius or anything. Same with the Mona Lisa, it’s not anything special - it’s just the history of the thing and how iconic it’s become through reproductions.

NTA but that's liberal brainwashing (calling it what it is is not right-wing either). It's an effect of the normalization of pornography (for profit; symptom of capitalism) and of course also the patriarchy (not seeing anything wrong with men objectifying women or having sexual thoughts about women other than his partner). People are brainwashed to have a knee-jerk reaction whenever you dare criticize the sex/porn industry (saying that boyfriends and husbands shouldn't watch porn or be sexually obsessed with other women, not thinking that sex work is normal and valid), to defend the interests of those who profit from it, but the average person doesn't realize it. They don't even understand what they're saying, they just repeat what they say because everyone else in their social circle is saying it.
It's especially bad in the first world and among Americanized people elsewhere.
As an answer to your initial question, I imagine (since idk anything about camgirl culture or whatever the fuck it is) that camgirls do what they do under the assumption that it's somehow not as bad as having permanent images of them posted on the internet. Because, after all, they must know deep down that what they're doing is wrong on many levels and that they're degrading themselves for the entertainment of disgusting males who don't see them as human. Besides what has already been explained (Isabel is derived from Elisabeth, no idea why they didn't just call her Elisabeth though), it's part of the old tradition of translating names to your language. It stopped about a couple decades ago, I've noticed, when the world became more globalized. Names in other languages also used to be translated to English, or any other language, especially if they already had a name that shared the same origin (very common between European languages, for example).
For example, if a famous Spanish person was called Carlos they would call him Charles in English and vice-versa. Or Karl in German. But nowadays it's more common for people to say the foreign person's original name instead of using the local equivalent, with some exceptions such as monarchy (most notably). For historical figures, typically, their translated names are still used, like Karl/Carlos Marx.
You can see the same thing happens with the pope's name these days. The current pope's name is Francisco in Spanish, Francis in English, Francesco in Italian, and Franciscus in Latin. But in your country they will only refer to him as Papa Francisco. John Paul II is Juan Pablo II in Spanish, and Jan Paweł II in Polish.

Unfortunately I don't know the origin of this fairly stupid imo tradition, but it's an interesting topic.

The silver looks super pretty in the unboxing videos but the black seems cooler which one should I get

you should get the iPhone 20, with a groundbreaking 50 megapixel gigapixel tetrapixel camera quality, equipped with 5 main cameras on the back and 2 front cameras for extra spiciness in detail, you can even see through the picture! up to 100x the resolution for jaw-dropping, mind boggling, astonishing breathtaking images. let's not forget about filming! enjoy the cinematic experience with the pioneering technology of 8k HDR UHD at 120 fps (because movies will now shoot on the new revolutionary iPhone) and much more! stay tuned for the next innovative shit iPhone 21 will have that nobody ever achieved!
kek all jokes aside, instead of wasting money on a phone that's been remade 4 times, you can get another iPhone x instead of "upgrading" (iPhone 12,13 etc are basically the same as iPhone x but with a twist, the camera looking more fugly than ever). that's just my opinionm, you do whatever floats your boat

Yes the very religious do. And the westernized feminist muslims often deal with cognitive dissonance with this.
