It's as expensive as real LL in my experience. Much easier and cheaper to buy 2nd hand from fril or somewhere similar. their quality is okay, unless it's anything woven like basket bags, those are terrible!

The one i got was really poorly made, weaving wasn't done properly so it poked through the lining. they also used a super cheap ugly drawstring unlike the picture and it was a total eyesore,. i think most LL knockoff sellers buy the real bag to use as the stock photo to trick you.

tbh, the real staw bags are quite delicate and i only use mine every once in a while.

How do you guys find those replicas? I remember buying an awesome Acne scarf replica in 2016 which I wanted to post here, but it's not available anymore & searching for "Acne Studios" didn't work either.

I often find cosmetic knockoffs, though. I tried some of the sheet masks & hand lotions (mostly Tonymoly "inspired") and liked them a lot.

I would check reviews first to see if people's experiences are good. It depends on how your skin usually reacts to cosmetics since the materials won't be very good
However they may not be cruelty free (and most probably they aren't vegan), as pic related explains

Don't recommend the resin pigment as one I had leaked everywhere and dyed everything the other one dried up.
The UV resin is excellent though and I'm still happily using a 18 month old bottle. The decoden whip was also absolutely fine.

I wouldn't. There's a lot of knock off makeup on there so that leads me to believe there's no regulations on what cosmetics they sell. I don't buy anything on there that goes onto your skin, into your body or holds food or water.

the cream is probably fine.

I recommend below resin pigments which I own already. Well packaged and don't leak/dry out. https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/KiWarm-13Pcs-10g-Epoxy-UV-Resin-Coloring-Dye-Colorant-Pigment-DIY-Handmade-Crafts-Art-Sets-13/32826561487.html

To get the pearl color you're better off getting some of that opal nail powder instead since it's way cheaper.

The UV resin you linked is pretty good, but a little on the thick side so you need to shake it and having an emboss heater to smooth it out is important.

Let me know if you need anything else! I have good links for bezels and molds.

DCC store you linked in your post.

This store is good, they have a lot of design sheets. Though I've found the sheets are too thick for a clear background. Search resin because the categories are hard to follow.

https://gladzgt.aliexpress.com/store/2785130

Also really good for resin stuff and findings/jewelry making, just search resin because I can't figure out the term here either.

This store has a ton of stuff too really nice antique style settings, charms and bezelz and other cool metal parts for resin work.

Good for sweets deco and stuff because it has tons of mini cups and polymer sticks.

Their trustpilot score is pretty good. Aliexpress is the western version of alibaba, which is (one of?) the biggest online retailer(s) in china. They're legit. It's like amazon, but with only marketplace sellers. Individual sellers can be shitty but as long as you look at their store feedback and only buy from reliable ones, you should be fine.

I've bought dozens of things and the few times I've had problems I've been able to settle it directly with the seller over dms, or have gotten a refund from aliexpess.

God that's some real fuckin salt lol…

Are you like some rich girl that has a personal tailor? Because unless you are…

Most shit is Chinese made crap. Even fancy H&M "boutique" shit. Actually, especially that fancy "boutique" shit. Its all marketing. Some mass manufactured designs are definitely better than others. At the end of the day, its all shit from China or guatemala or wherever the fuck probably made by child slaves.

I'd rather buy a piece of "knockoff" Chinese crap that looks and feels pretty much the damn same as the shit i have to spent upwards of 50$ on because its "nice" instead of waste my life on being salty about one Chinese piece of shit over the other.

Aliexpress has a lot of problems and a lot of things are definitely "fall apart as soon as you touch it" bad, but you spend like, 3 bucks on it, vs. The mark up of some of this shit and then having wasted 100 bucks just to find out its shit. And some of it is really nice!

Now if anyone has some nice, cutesy but sort of sophisticated clothing and accessories, I'm game for recommendations instead of shitting up the thread with salt that's basically "lel poorfag."

Sage but you don't have to be rich to not buy from China. Especially if you live in a rather big country, you can easily find locally made stuff for slightly more than what you'd buy from H&M but nothing outrageous. And on top of that you'd support local business.

Or you can buy high fashion second hand. I got a nice brand bag for a fraction of the price (~100€) and it's lasting me forever, compared to a bag I'd get for 20€ that would start to peel and turn grey super fast.

Of course if you want a kawaii heart bag with pompoms or a burger shaped beret you'll wear twice, go for it and buy it on aliexpress.

never trust the sellers. i got a bogus tracking number, it said "delivered" so when i filed a dispute, i lost. The thing is, normally the tracking will say when it reaches customs or something but it just said "arrived in destination country" and then delivered. No city names were stated. The seller kept saying to check with my post people and that maybe my neighbors picked it up but here i need the senders info, which they refused to give and instead claimed they were refunding me but never did. So i lost $16 and because i disputed it and lost the dispute, i couldnt/cant even give a negative feedback.

To be a little fair, it really could have been my lazy post people leaving it next to mailboxes and one of my neighbors stealing it, but because i was home the weekend it said it was delivered and the fact delivery date was sunday (which is not possible) and never stated any city names really makes me think it was fake or someone else tracking number.

I fucking love this dress. It was so cheap but it's perfect. It made from this kind of weird fabric (it says cotton mix, but it's more viscose-like). But because of that it falls perfectly on me. Because of the fabric the dress pulls down a little bit and that makes the chest area come out real good and shapely. For me the dress widens around my stomach, so perfect for hiding all the ugliness.

I can't seem to pair them with leggings, I don't know what it is, maybe the fabric clash but it always looks bad when I do. Summer dress with nothing under it looks best.

Turns out that after many washes it's still the same and barely got any damage unlike some cotton tshirts that are newer and already washed out and stained. Yesterday I got another shirt with strange/cheap fabric but I'm not really sure how long it will last

this is the one of the only things I've ordered from Aliexpress (ordered with a friend who swears by it) and it was pretty disappointing. I love big loose off shoulder sweaters and this thing was basically a normal sweater. it didn't have all the reviews about how small it ran back when I ordered.

Lots of the plus size clothes I've seen on ali are knock offs of cheap brands like boohoo and f21, and sometimes are more expensive than the original. NTA, but yea. Lol I've gotten literal garbo from AliExpress, ill-fitting or shit in this weird cheap polyester shiny fabric. Forever 21 isn't great, but at least I know what I'm getting. Sellers on Ali either leave details out or lie outright.

That being said, I love AliExpress for cheap crap, like stickers and ankle socks. Stuff that is hard to screw up. Everything else is a mixed bag, and I honestly prefer buying secondhand brands to buying new on Ali.

>er, anon, most of them are the same as F21 entirely, made in the same factories, only with no tags.

Eh. Not true, but kinda true. Just because they both come from China doesn't mean they come from the same factory. I've seen crap from older collections of Zara/ASOS/H&M get sold on Ali, stolen photos and everything. A lot of Korean brand stuff too get their photos stolen. You can tell by the specific brand's photography style and because the product is even shittier than the original photo. But I've also seen known Taobao/Ali generic brand stuff being sold at a markup in malls. I usually do a lot of searching and shopping around before I commit to a buy, including reverse image searching, so I hope that makes me less likely to get ripped off.

I've been buying from Ali for years, so I would hope that means I know a thing or two…

Yikes to this thread infighting.

I've yet to have a very bad experience, and I've bought quite a bit of stuff. Most of my problems have been from clothing, which I was already iffy about buying in the first place. I bought a sweater that had the seams spit the second time I wore it, and it was "one size fits all," so it wasn't me being too big for it; it was actually really comfy. I also bought a t-shirt with a meme printed on it. The fit was very weird, the material was see-through, and the print was really weak and faded. I haven't worn it and it still sits in my closet, it also came with a small stain I didn't mind, but it's actually become darker and very noticeable now that it's been sitting there. I think I might sew it into a shopping bag or use the print as a patch.

I also bought a bra set, it was decent quality but stunk chemically. It was also too small, not my size. I could get in on, but it clearly fit differently than on the model, darker material too. I sold it for a dollar less than I paid for it, so no major loss.

I mostly just buy those dainty necklaces, enamel pins, and keyboard covers with different languages on them for Duolingo.

yeah, if it's displaying a different capacity than what it's specified for it's probably fake. If you get a wrong item (broken, not as described, not the one model you ordered, etc) you just open a dispute and ask to get your money back. You don't have to send anything back. So i don't know if this question belongs here but it's related to buying things from china so maybe someone can give me their opinion on this situation. So i ordered wigs from taobao and the package arrived some days ago at the local customs and they couldn't gave me the package because it had no label where the name of the manufacturer and the material it was made of was written and thus will be send back to china. I contacted the shopping service site and they only answered that they could try to ship it with another method. I'm thinking of doing a refund but the site mentions in their policy that they don't do such things. Would it still possible to do it, i mean even if they shipped it with another method it wouldn't gurantee that next time that it wont get stuck at customs again, it would be kinda like a vicious circle and i probably won't get the package. So how big are my chances?

As a goth myself, I would recommend Regalrock jewelry. They are a bit more pricy by aliexpress standarts (still very cheap compared to popular gothic brands) and have a ton of cool unique designs.
There's also Rosetic Store with pretty good clothing, tho the sizes can be iffy (check the reviews) and Punk Rave has a storefront on there.
Really, there's plenty of gothic stuff if you look it up. I bought a ton of Halloween decorations there super cheap, because we don't have them in my country at all.
You can also find some copies of Killstar on there for cheap. I haven't bought any myself yet, but people who did are saying it's exactly like the real thing and may even be surplus stock. I found some bags and phonecases on there.
The only issue is - not a lot of things are tagged "goth" even if they technically are, so including "goth" as a searchterm greatly limits your results sadly. There's no proper way to look up dark alternative stuff all at once.

Weeb shit is ok too, but it mostly has stolen art or is bootleg/recast from the original merch. I myself am against buying things like that and prefer official merch, but if you're okay with it, go for it. At least the pins/badges and bags from there are ok. Wouldn't recommend actual figures tho.

Is there a masterpost on how to buy clothes from aliexpress? Like, how do I avoid getting mangled shit that looks nothing like the picture?

No. 438448

>>438432
The only thing you can do is look at reviews. Even then there's really no 100% guarantee you're getting what you see in the picture. There can be multiple versions of an item by different sellers, using the same pictures for listing. A lot of the listings are copies of an original item that's in the picture. A lot are just photoshopped straight from google images.
Your best bet is looking for long established shops with big sales numbers and good reviews and even then you might get something shitty. Looking for places that provide a lot of pictures of the actual item and proper measurements/sizings can be good too.
Sadly, buying clothes online is kind of a crapshoot in places that don't really have customer support beyond "we'll give you your money back if it's damaged". If it doesn't look like the picture, you can ask for refund too, but that doesn't work sometimes.
Most of the clothes I got from ali were actually okay. Usual fast-fashion quality with some skimping on the seams or cheaper fabrics. But then again I paid fast-fashion prices.

I've seen some of my favorite shops on this site close because of the coronavirus. Do you think it's unsanitary to buy stuff from ali rn?

No. 520810

>>520792
I mean use your best judgement. I think most of the shops shutting down are being overly cautious, because no one really has much data on coronavirus. I’ve seen vastly differing statements on how long the virus can survive on a surface. If you’re worried your item was sneezed on by patient zero, consider the shipping times and many different agencies your package would have to go through to get to you. Maybe I’m a cynic, but even if you held off on ordering for the next year, odds are most average people won’t think that far ahead, thus the postal worker who handles your next “safe shipment” will probably have some form of contact with a contaminated package. For your own safety, I probably would advise against purchasing from ali, especially for consumable products like makeup. But realistically, there’s always a small chance that consumables from ali could make you sick, corona or not. Sorry to ramble, it’s a difficult question with no clear answer until more data is released. For the time being, play it safe.

depends on the store, they all have their own sizing charts (but generally if they sell the same item with the same pics its the same sizing), if you look at the chart it's usually pretty accurate to the item and you also have to consider stretchiness etc. from non activewear clothing sellers i usually find the clothing is either accurate to western sizing or i'd need to go up one size from usual. activewear is pretty tts though

Package thefts are extremely rare/almost never happen in my building and the rest of the items in my order came in just fine. No. 764140

There is no way to know if the steel is actually medical grade so I'd stay away from any kinda Aliexpress jewelry that pierces through your ears. As for necklaces, rings etc, sure why not. I've bought steel before and while the color does not trick the eye for sterling silver if you're wearing a mix of the two on you, on its own it can look like silver. Steel is very sturdy compared to silver so it will resist scratching and breakage far better.

You can reverse image search using the Aliexpress app or this page https://thieve.co/tools/image-search. It looks like there's one in a different color for like $340 (including shipping) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000623888684.html

Or you can get a cat pill for around $200 (I think it's pretty cute): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001891254727.html

Ok so here is my guide, use it and abuse it.
The first thing is quite obvious; make as many accounts as you can. If you have two addresses for example your house and your parents’ house it is very easy to bypass the aliexpress verification methods. If you want to have more than four accounts (I would recommend having three for a beginner) I would advise you to be careful because anything from address, device used, name on the billing account, payment method, or even your internet connection can ring the alarm bells. I’m in a quite good position to have multiple accounts as I have 3 addresses in my country to where I can safely send things, and one in another country, where my partner is residing.
Don’t attach one bank account to more than four accounts, if you have a partner or a friend create two or so bank accounts online, it is very easy, you can do it for free and you don’t need to keep money in there if you don’t want to. The options change from country to country, so look for the services that are available to you; use your info, and if you have one, your friend’s info to scramble all the accounts.

Why do you need so many accounts? Well, I’m glad you asked. First, you need your main account. This is the base of operations to where you can safely link your main info and address and to where you will redirect all the coupons that you will win when making other accounts, by using your referral link. All accounts get a new user bonus, so that’s already 3 or 4 euros worth of free shit per account. When you use your referral code to make other accounts you, -your main account- will receive a 4,4€ off 8,8€ or so coupon when the satellite accounts make their first purchase. Use the new user coupon to make that purchase (spend at least two euros), rinse and repeat with the scrambled info. With this method, the satellite accounts will receive other useful coupons that can be used if you want to make a bigger purchase. The threshold is a lot higher and only gives you about 10/15% off in total so I rarely use them, but they can be very useful in November in the big annual sale.
All of this can be very confusing, so I would recommend keeping a document with what info is linked where, all of your passwords, and fake email addresses.
I would also recommend having two or three stand-by accounts, meaning that you will only make the first purchase and log in every four/five months. This will unlock a coupon called “Membership_Loss_Welcomeback” that gives 5,40€ off 5,41€. I discovered this coupon by accident and it is basically free money. This might seem very little but do this two times a year with two accounts and whenever you feel sad you can get dopamine from getting free little gifts off aliexpress. Combine this whenever possible with store coupons, alipay rewards, and a few aliexpress coins and that little gift becomes a little bit bigger. Obviously, give preference to sellers that offer those coupons. If the coupon is not added automatically or they don’t offer them just send a message to the seller and ask them for it. Most of the time they will give you something and this serves two purposes; testing their reputability and of course, getting the coupon.
Alipay is basically a pre-paid debit card. The alipay rewards differ from region to region, so what I am saying might not be applied to you. Just linking your debit card info to alipay gives you 1€, and putting 50€ there gives you 5€ of in-app credit to spend. The alicoins can be obtained by playing the dumb games in the aliexpress app. They are a waste of time and you will not get anything that they promise, but keeping a few alicoins is very useful, as they automatically deduct up to a euro (this is the most I have ever gotten I don’t know if they can deduct more) off the value of your purchase when you are at the check-out.

Having the app version of aliexpress is crucial, as many things I have described only work there. I don’t recommend playing any of the games there, except for getting a few coins, as they are completely useless. I have never received free products by using them and even if it is technically possible to do so, which I doubt, they are near impossible to get.
I’m talking about energy lab, the retarded games, the section where they claim to give free shit in exchange for reviews, and the slash price thing. I might have forgotten something but if you have the app you know what I’m talking about. If any anon has ever won anything through these methods or knows something I haven’t covered here please teach me how to do so, I’d love to hear you.
This is why I would like to make a discord.

So now that we have covered the basics and the app let’s talk about cashback and other stuff. There are many browser extensions and third-party apps that offer cashback on online purchases. I don’t know which one is the absolute best, but I use megabonus. It works fine and the money really adds up with time. If you buy anything on aliexpress you definitely need one of those apps, not necessarily megabonus. There is not much to add, just install them and open the app before checking-out on aliexpress. Other useful tools are price trackers because they let you know if you are really getting that deal or not. Pricearchive.org and aliprice work fine and there is also not much to add.

I buy a lot of stationery but honestly I would need a whole other post for that so here is some of the best stuff I bought on ali excluding stationery:

Wasp Earrings; very cheap, don’t make my ears green and look very detailed and beautiful. I use them all the time. And with free shipping for orders above 2,57€ what else could you really ask for.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4000189744750.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1c0eb90aK4DtGY

Mini inkless printer: If you think that you don’t need a mini printer then think again.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4000025603034.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2742b90aaNIcyv

Spoons; yes, spoons. Bought both silver and gold. Not the highest quality but they are so beautiful and lovely.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4000169121495.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2742b90au8QMYj

Beige dress; honestly this seller is one of the best I have ever seen on aliexpress and I have a lot of their stuff on my wishlist. The dress is beautiful, soft and because it has a belt that you can tie around your waist I think this dress would fit any body type.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4000169121495.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2742b90au8QMYj

Beautiful backpack; see it for yourself.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005001797775497.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4c683c001Rt3xm&mp=1

Shoes: Again, great seller. I bought the green ones. They are nice quality wise but they hurt after a while. All cheap shoes do that and I only wear them if I don’t have to walk a lot so not an issue for me. The sole is red and they don’t advertise that so I guess these are Louboutin’s dupes. Better than expected honestly.
https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/32861552653.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2742b90aaNIcyv

I also bought some very nice collants, but the exact ones I bought are unavailable. I attached pic rel and you can easily find them. For such a low price I guarantee you will not find anything more comfy or beautiful than what there is on aliexpress.

Ok, so there it is. I would love to discuss more. The aliexpress app is very badly designed, hard to navigate and we all know how shady the alibaba group is. From opening a dispute to knowing how to get the best deals; it can be complicated to use the app to its full potential and it is undoubtedly very hard to find relevant information online.
I hope I can help some anons and if you know how to milk those chinese coupons don't be shy desu, let us know.
I’m also developing and testing a method to avoid paying taxes on these small online purchases (I’m not from Norway, but norwegian anons I feel you) and ship them for free by avoiding customs. That’s obviously less than legal so I’m not going to post it here but if that’s a project you would be interested in partaking please let me know. I know it is against the rules but I think I will post a discord handle here so that anyone who wants to join the aliexpress server can send me a message.

does the app still have the cheaper price benefit? or was that just temporary to make people download it. nta but the app has been good for me, usually the shipping changes because the "advertised" one doesn't ship to my country. i also wish ali would give you the choice like ebay to view the combined total shipping and price, so when you want to view lowest to highest price it will factor that in too. also, listings that hide cheaper items unrelated to the listing to make it look cheaper.

Petit Prince umbrella is sturdy and good quality.

The two summer flowy dresses look a bit more trad-thot than I wanted to but still cute I guess.
Autumn plaid dress looks a bit more grandma-like than I wanted to.
Plaid jacket and skirt are a bit tight and thin but look good.

UV led lamp for nails might be my favourite thing I ever bought from ali! I can't stand normal nail polish anymore, UV dries so fast is. Definitely recommend.

All my items arrived so here my basic review. I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT FOR NOT GETTING THE MATCHING SET FOR THE BRA. I'm now spending more money to buy the matching set. I even bought a 4pc of different color. All the bras for very well my only complaint is the on the left is loose because of the straps. If your bigger than me 30DD or thicker than I am in my shoulder area, shouldn't be an issue. The underwear for fine, I'm just not used to thongs. Bras on the right fit perfectly. The cups show a bit but aren't super noticable. Adjust them or replace/remove and it's good.

The little black going out shirt didn't really fit me. It's fits size wise but my boobs are clearly too big for it. It cut my boobs essentially in half. Now i an pull the shirt all the way down put to reach the bottom of my boobs but then I feel one wrong move and they aren't kinda deal. Might be good for a dinner (for me an home cool dinner date) or for pictures, wouldn't recommend for clubbing.

The pumas always from that seller are great. Barely any visible defects. Worth it for a dollar

aliexpress is okay for jewellery dupes and stuff, but in my experience, DHgate is better for designer clothing dupes. i don't even try it with TB because it takes too much effort lol. there's a subreddit for designer clothing dupes for women (i don't remember the name rn, sorry, but i'll try remember) and they have some good threads every few days about AE/DHG/TB dupes.

yessss it's called repladies and is a treasure trove of info. they have all these trusted sellers in china as well that are basically personal shoppers, and the reps they come up with blow my freaking mind. I always just figured everything on Ali was garbage, but that sub clued me in.. I've never been to DHGate, and also find TB and weidan way too complicated, even with the helpful guides and translations lol

As far as installation. It's fairly easy. I cleaned the windows first with Windex, then spray the window with water and sprayed the film as i pulled off the backing. This is prevent it from stick back and also so it's a bit easier to move it around and adjust while placing. You have to options for placing it on. Cut it first then trim if needed or place it on then cut. I did this method since the window huge and don't have a measuring tape to get the exact size of it. I got the 90x200cm for 18 bucks. It took about a month or so to come and the tracking number waas changed so i could track through aliexpress but the seller did give me the correct one

It's easy enough to learn, but it's very expensive in startup costs and the learning curve is pretty steep and painful. >Plus none of the animals i own would eat the moss. The only risky one would be the tunnel if it got chewed on.

They are still living in it and breathing in whatever they put on it to make it survive the journey. For many harmful materials touching them is enough to have it leech into your body. And were not talking about a tacky flower pot that your touching once a month. Your animals will be exposed constantly.
It's really not worth the couple of dollars you save.

The fact that you didn't get skin irritations doesn't mean the ingredients used where safe.

In fact there's a huge discussion going on right now wether or not ingredients we're using in the EU are really safe (The EU is generally stricter on this than the US). Because there's evidence that some of them build up inside our bodies and cause all kinds of health issues. Remember the BPA controversy? Many countries have since banned it's use in baby products and the exposure rate has genereally fallen. But in reality there are thousands of chemicals in plastic that rarely appear in nature and that have never been tested for long exposure risk.

Basically what I'm saying if it's this bad where regulations are some of the strictest. Imagine what it's like in China. For all we know that moss could be soaked in Roundup.

No. 878497

I think it depends on the country? In Germany you have to pay a percentage customs fee and clearance with the carrier. If it is Deutsche Post (main carrier here), it will always be 6 € for clearance. I recently bought something for around 20 € and paid 7,90 € for customs and clearance. There are some helpful guides out there, but I think it still will be trial and error for a while. I read that some sellers on AliExpress are trying to find solutions like already paying customs before shipping or using EU warehouses more. I personally stopped ordering from outside of the EU for now because like you said, it is ridiculous to pay at least 6 € for a product that is way cheaper. It only makes sense if you buy a lot from one seller (= in one package) so you only have to pay the clearance fee once.

Just shamelessly spent $50 on many, many pairs of novelty earrings. I’m so excited for them to come in I’ve had my ears pierced for nearly a decade now but never actually wore anything in them, can’t wait to have a massive selection of cute pairs. Pictured are some of the highlights, plus the one bracelet I tossed in with the order.

nta but so since it's "already been discussed" you're going to plug your ears and keep having cheap garbage shipped across the ocean without a second thought?

look, i'm amenable to the idea that people want a certain amount of stimulation and enjoyable consumption, and it's better to do that by buying tiny pins than by flying yourself to disneyland. but it still is harmful to the environment to some degree, so you still should have an awareness that it is an indulgence, and you should think about if the stuff you're buying is really making you happy enough to be worth the environmental cost. Like, I'm not saying you're not "allowed" to buy the stuff because it's not 100% green, that's twitterbrain absolutist thinking. But don't try to deny that it's envrionmentally and socially not the best.

No. 940348

Give up, much of what we buy is made with poor labor practices anyway. Stores shamelessly sell the same things on ali for a markup. Go to a local fast food restaurant and watch how much disposable items are used for each person. We're filling the world with our garbage at a high rate anyway, there's no point in abstaining from buying trinkets on an individual level

Yes, I'm against purchasing cheap Chinese shit like this but let's not be naive about how many products or the source materials they're made from that we buy from regular stores that have in one way or another been produced by underpaid human labour if not violated human rights. We all have some of the hundreds of brands under Unilever, P&G, Nestlé en L'oreal in our homes, all known violaters of human rights and/or know to have knowingly damaged flora and fauna.

Ok so then don't shop at crap stores often and don't eat at fast food stores often? I don't care what other people do, I am talking to you. Any increment less of harm that you do to the environment is a positive good. Just because other people are retarded doesnt give you the right to act just as fucking stupid. In fact, because you know better, it makes you worse.

This "n-n-no shut up!! it's all fffUcked anyway so it's not my fault stop being mean to me!!" shit is so tired. Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions please, and stop blaming other people for causing problems to which you are an equal & active contributor. Same retardation as not voting because "nuuh the system", in fact it's worse because by shopping in an envrironmentally bad way you're actively voting with your dollars to support the practices you claim to oppose.

Like… stop pretending you give a shit about the environment. You don't. I'm not even asking you not to buy plastic crap, I'm just asking you to admit it's harmful. This upsets you because you want to buy things and ignore the consequences like every other gas guzzling shirhead. You don't get to blame other people when you're full in yourself. You are the other people. I expect a bunch of whine back from you ofc so I won't be replying

Since the point of buying bento boxes is stuffing them with consumables I highly advise against buying them from Ali Express.

For affordable and durable boxes I recommend the brand Hakoya. The plastic boxes have lacquer coating so as long as you don't do anything dumb with it, it will last for a long time and won't pick up smells. You can purchase them from bento and co.

I buy A LOT of stuff from Ali but I do not mess with shit that will go into my body.

They had tons of super high quality "classic" era Liz Lisa reps/dupes that were like $5-20 each and amazing quality. Some of it came tagged Liz Lisa, some of it was tagged "meyeeka" or "uncle flower". I was slowly buying everything they had. They finally had a batch of new clothes when the store went down. Can any nonnies point me in the direction of shops that sell decent quality “knock off” bags? They don’t need to be exact replicas or anything, ideally I’m looking for a bag that’s real leather that has a “designer” look that not too pricey either. Here's short reviews of the ones I got:
Mary Janes (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004177513704.html) are shit. They look OK from the outside, but the shoe feels flimsy to the point it's hard to walk or even just stand and the front of the shoe injures my toes even though I got a larger size.
Lamoda-looking boots (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003302464591.html) are awesome and I've had these bad boys for +/- 2 years AND still wear them daily. The only issue was the back of the shoe (not the platform part) detaching because the stitching unraveled, but fixing it was only 5 euros. They're very comfortable, when you walk they do feel cheap, ygwim!
