I got lobe piercings and, despite my wishes, I decided to not take the earrings out for a deep clean during the early stages since it was recommended not to. I only sprayed with saline. Well, I took out all of my earrings today and one had some waxy looking gunk on it. Not on the earring back but the post that goes into the actual hole, I didn't even know that was possible. So fucking gross. It absolutely couldn't be earwax but I have no idea what it was. I'm never going that long without taking earrings out again.

Posting here for the unsavory topic, but I dont understand why pussy shaving is all the rage but no one talks about ass hair removal. You shit from there, that's probably the most important place to not have hair. I only trim my vaginas, but I will always slap some nair in my ass. Even if I have to deal with that horrible itch when the hair starts growing back.

I dont buy this idea that an unnatural hairless state is more "hygenic". Isnt the whole point of pubic hair to have a barrier against bacteria particles on your vagina/butthole? I could imagine shaving decreaes any smell but why would your ass stink in the first place if you wash daily?

You're right. From my personal experience, shaving my pits didn't reduce how stinky the get. It's useless. The real secret is killing the source of the smell, i.e. bacteria.

Without pubic hair I sweat much more though, but I have also never had any difference in smell.

I always get rashes when I shave, I don't buy it either. It's also much easier to be hygienic with hair because you're not wasting extra time trying to remove it, when you shave/wax you still need to wash those areas regularly so it's making extra work for yourself for no good reason. The extra time you have when you would be shaving could be spent actually washing yourself thoroughly kek

Thought experiment: If someone with a shaved head or a head full of hair slipped into a toilet full of urine, which head would be stinkier? Right, the head full of hair because hair retains moisture and odor. Op here, didn't mean to start butt hair discourse. I'm not saying you have to get rid of your ass hair. I was just saying that it's weird that there's so much importance placed on removing pubes when it makes more sense to remove butt hair. For me it definitely is more clean and helps prevent infection to keep hair short though, especially being that I live somewhere hot. Everyone is different though.

I shower once per week. Very rarely, twice per week. I don't produce much BO, but to be honest I rarely go anywhere. When I was employed I showered more often. I'm not the active type so that helps. One of the only times I couldn't stand my own stench was when my bartholin cyst burst and was oozing pus and blood, and some dead old skin fell off. But I am freshly showered and I love the feeling! I like to think that I limit myself to one shower per week because I love maximizing the clean feeling but it's actually because I'm too lazy to shower most times.

Same, but I also don't leave my house and run AC 24/7 so I never sweat. I also bathe about once or maybe twice per week at max. I change my clothes and my underwear everyday though
