I didn't say I didn't like it, I use it for specific threads and specific reasons but I've seen the nasty ignorant shit said about my people, and I'm sure it's the same sort of thing that black people don't like being said anywhere else. Honestly, I browse LSA, and I kinda like it more than LC.
I'm a black woman so obviously I'm gonna be biased, but, imo the website is more open to different discussions, the threads are funnier, and they have a thread of everything and everybody.
There are a lot of glaring issues tho. Some fonts are very critical of interracial relationships, which wouldn't be a huge issue if they didn't find a way to bring up race in EVERY thread. It literally doesn't matter what the topic is, if they can bring up race they will.
Thread summaries are not something that exist on the website. If you want to know everything about a cow, you have to read over 2000 pages on every past thread.
And obviously the women are crazy. Especially on conspiracy alley (a subsection, like a conspiracy board). There has been a particular font posting the dumbest threads on there this past month, but it's entertaining. The advice board also breed some crazy threads. I remember a couple months ago, a font came on there asking for advice because she believes her sister is pregnant with their step-dad's baby. That thread was a ride. Perched is an entertaining font as well. I've heard a theory they might be Perez Hilton, but I lurk on and off so idk if the fonts saying that are serious lol.
