I'm definitely clocking in but taking breaks while I'm still on the clock so that I still get my money for the least amount of work. If no one games the system, then why is it even put in place in the first place?

at my old workplace they used to deduct our breaks from our pay automatically because everyone always took them and you'd have to tell them if you didn't take your break and still wanted to get paid. You could of course still game the system though.

In one of the places I worked I would come in early, clock in then go to the building restaurant and have breakfast and then save up the time to leave early some days or take half days. I loved those breakfasts, especially on days I'd leave early too.

The last job I had I got locked out mid shift and waited around for like an hour to be let back in but nobody came out. It was after hours at a school so the office workers had all gone home and I didn't know what to do so I just got in my car and drove away. Am I a bad person anons?
