Can someone clarify: was the “living doll” fad a thing
before Dakota? Cause idk, but I highly doubt it, seeing as that I saw Dakota got called a doll in her tumblr days before she ever tried to be one, or even before she advertised herself c. 2011 (when she was actually just inspired by gyaru/ulzzang. yknow. the golden days of her shooping). So now every time I see a girl advertise herself with #livingdoll, whether on Instagram or on tumblr I get second hand embarrassment that they’ve unknowingly made Dakota the trendsetting doll queen.
