Dammit. This takes me back, I probably had so many screenshots of the stories from /cgl/ back in the day on my old computer (back when you'd save screenshots of every funny thing that happened). I'd share them with my friends who didn't frequent /cgl/ and we'd have a hearty kek over them whenever we saw him at cons.

I will say back when I was a baby weeaboo going to my first cons and my parents had to drop me and my friends off or buy tickets for me, my Dad would always read through the websites (just to be supportive and see what events were happening) and be like

Even my Dad thought he was ridiculous, and he didn't even know who he was.

Also I remember one time at a smaller local con in more recent years when he'd fallen off a little bit, I was cosplaying Aigis and my bf was cosplaying Akihiko. We were talking to a really good Yukari cosplayer and chatting and taking pics with her for a long time, and we didn't realize at first that we were standing right in front of Vic and his table. He was staring hard at us, expecting us to acknowledge him in some way or ask him for a pic or something. We made a point to not even look in his direction.

wasn't there a weeb cringe thread on one of the pages on here that had him has a center piece? I just remember the thread pic being a vid of him, but the still image was of his mouth/jaw?


(I'm also bummed that I never had friends weeby enough to appreciate the Sakura-Con commercial. Or maybe I'm bummed that I've never had friends that were into JRock to know Girugamesh)

Vic's also been milking his ongoing stint on RWBY, playing a drunk, old lech. More or less the role he was born to play! Sadly it has been putting dumb young girls back into his orbit again, the man has a knack for that.

not milk but I lost it over the thread description pointing out the jeans because my first encounter with vic was in an elevator at a very small con in my home town and before I even realized it was him I noticed the ridiculous jeans. I also had the impression that he was flamboyantly gay until my friends informed me that he's a creep to underage female fans.
