Nope, she's been doing it for years and years, right back at the beginning of her channel. She used to be quite sweet, and pretty - she even referenced going swimming regularly to try to lose weight and stay healthy. I even commented a few times to encourage her because she talked about other kids at school finding her online and picking on her about it. I found her because she idolised xsparkage, who I followed at the time, and she even met up with her.

She always did multiple layers of everything: most looks consisted of black and white MAC eyeshadow applied as a normal look, then blended out, then REAPPLIED over the top again, which I didn't really understand, but whatever. This is such a huge pet peeve of mine.

There's a German youtuber that does this a lot and it's so badly done and always makes her literally look like a clown.
I don't follow her extensively enough to tell whether she's denying it but she's 100% the type of person that would. (She would also go on a 15min rant on instagram about how perfect her lips are, how she's not that desperate etc).

Bella Thorne does her own make up for events (and movies and TV Shows apparently) because she got scabies or dermatitis from a make up artist and has been scared ever since

She goes way overboard 98% of the time…while she is a terrible actress and it's also sad to say Shake It Up was her best work (yikes.) her music is trash but I feel bad everyone is pretty mean to her online but here i am doing it too, she actually seems like a really sweet person and I would probably be her friend…but her makeup has me BOTHERED. She has an overpriced line of makeup that is a ripoff of Juvias Place and a palette for $60 that is about in the $20-25 range for Juvias Place!!

As you can see on the bottom right corner I inserted a picture where she DIDN'T go overboard…and I have to suspect she didn't do this herself…she can look so pretty with the extra effort…if she's that "scared" take some private make up lessons or watch Youtube damn.
