I kind of don't understand when people say XYZ celeb woman is a yacht girl, particularly when said celebrity is an A/B lister. Like, to my understanding, yacht girls engage in active prostitution, usually paid monetarily, hence why it's done in the high seas(that's what I have heard) so there's no prostitution laws. I just don't understand why a celebrity that makes millions of dollars each year from movies/investments/concerts would do that and how what they are getting paid would be worth it? I'm not questioning if yacht girls exist, or if there are celebrities that sleep around for "favors" by music producers/movie directors. I just think the specific act that is implied by saying someone is a yacht girl is not common for celebrities that have million dollar incomes. I see it more as a thing that mid-level/low-level models/influencers/actresses do to afford high standard of life. What am I not understanding here?

People have a hard time believing that bisexuality exists because homosexuality has such strong political, religious, and social baggage.

This baggage is the same reason that people pretend that they aren't gay for a long time, only to realize in middle-age that strangers' opinions on them don't matter. A lot of the fags that have had wives and kids only to come out as gay in their 30s and beyond come from repressive homes or cultures wherein homosexuality was disparaged.

Women will often be labelled as bisexual after one experience with a woman because women's sexuality has always been heavily speculated on and derided, more so than men's sexuality.

Being bisexual means that you are sexually attracted to both sexes, being homosexual to the same sex, and being heterosexual to the opposite sex. Someone that's gay can marry the opposite sex and live their whole lives with their spouse because of social factors.

Because male homosexuality is seen as inherently emasculating. Sexual experience with another male is akin to castration; after that you can't claim your balls are still intact, in other words, claim you're still into women too. No. 2594091

>>2594073
I used to be suicidal for most of my life, since childhood. I grew up in an abusive household, got bullied badly in school, had gender dysphoria and autism, and grew up into a very stunted adult who felt worthless. Then I hit my 30s and now I'm fine. I don't even have depression anymore, which feels weird to type because I thought that cloud would never go away.

The major thing that changed for me was talking to people irl, both friends and strangers, and expanding the breadth of my understanding of the human experience. When I was actively suicidal everything felt so horrible and miserable, but reflecting on it I had a very self-absorbed pity party mindset. I felt super misunderstood, every mistake I made felt huge, I felt like my whole life was wasted by 24, I thought no one could understand the depths of my depression and it made me so angry when people would tell me they knew how I felt. But after I started making an effort to engage with other people, I realized I was just like them in many ways, and that knowledge makes the weight of life easier to bear.

I almost expect my brain to react with suicidality when I face hardship, but these days I can just… face it. I think the key for me was realizing that suicidal ideation is (generally) not a literal desire to die, it's a desire for the suffering to end combined with learned helplessness. My desire to die was fueled by the misguided belief that I don't have control over my life and I could never be successful. Not true! Once I stopped thinking about death as an "option" it got a lot easier to face myself and cope.

And i don't just mean women having legal rights and getting legal justice, will we ever have a culture where misogyny is not ingrained and major component of it? I know things like racism and homophobia still exist but it seems like any movement that is female-centered never seems to progress yet there is a new misogynistic slang, joke, imagery, practice everyday (porn, beauty standards, deepfakes, etc.). If George Floyd was a woman no one would've cared about him, he punched a pregnant woman but people still defended him, yet if a white woman said something racist no one would've cared if she was abused or killed and they would even say she deserved it.

Probably no. Women, compared to other marginalized groups, do not really have the ability to form large groups and unify under one cause. Think about it in this sense - a racial minority is often ostracized and they unify in that. They can freely form movements, culture, ideologies and fight for their rights. Women live in the same house as their oppressor, give birth to their oppressor, love and fuck their oppressor etc. Because of that, most women are in a deep denial about the level of misogyny that exists in our societies. Having said that, I don't think we live in a world "without racism" and I don't think we ever will. I do think that ethnic groups can create their own communities where they will feel less discriminated against and be able to be treated as an equal and women do not have that privilege. The biggest blackpill you can take is talk to normie women about misogyny and feminism and see how these ideas exist(if at all) on an extremely surface level in their minds, and they don't really give a single fuck about it. Well if women don't care, why would men?

Yeah, a combo of the physical/emotional abuse and emotional neglect as a poorfag child and some shitty shit that happened in my life. The older I get, the more I'm aware about how it effected the way I think or do things.
I still think about going through with it after my parents die sometimes when my mood is particularly low, imagining what it's like to be at a cliff edge with nothing stopping me from jumping.

I think there will be. Women are much less dependent on men, most young women and girls now don't have the expectations of marriage and motherhood that their mothers had, and women can have their own lives and careers. It's not true in every country or culture, but it's the case for most of us.
Even the women who shill tradthottery drop the act the second their moid turns out to be a piece of shit unless they're bippies but mental illness is always going to be an outlier or husband hop until they find The One who will fund her dreams of prancing barefoot in a flower meadow. That might sound regressive, but it's a huge step forward- women now have the option to pick and choose who they tie the knot with, and how often, and even if they complain about feminism they directly benefit from it. In a tradthot fantasy the man is an accessory and she's the main character, even if she pretends it's the other way round.
Women are overwhelmingly choosing to work before settling down, if they choose to settle down at all. It's normal for women to be childfree. Less women are dating, whether it's because of a lack of time or because of how shit the scrotes on offer are.
It's all leading to a massive shift in culture. Women have the freedom to make choices about their future that previous generations didn't have. Overwhelmingly, the choice doesn't center men. The misogyny we're seeing now is partly because of men seething at how they're not necessary or superior to women. The women who fall for their screeching are mostly very young and/or mentally ill or otherwise vulnerable, and looking for an escape. But the others are put off by their bullshit to such an extent that the 4b movement has taken off in the west and shows no signs of slowing.
It's a turning point in society and society's expectations. Our mothers and grandmothers, who by and large are still around today, were expected to stay with violent men and raise children while working. Their ideals, the way they treat their sons vs their daughters, and the way they react to moidal violence, does impact how we as women feel about our place in society. But it's generally a wake up call for how shit everything is and 4b wins again or they troon out but the rate of detransing shows that this is for most women a tangent, not the final stop.
Men and their expectations are basically meaningless to women as a whole now that their choices don't dictate our lives. Women, even some older pickmes, are becoming increasingly disillusioned with men. We're drifting apart into two separate spheres with surprisingly little overlap. Men will fling shit at anything they don't like, that's expected. But it's going to reach a point where this behavior is punished by their social circle, like their influencer daddy figure speaking out about this behavior, or losing jobs over their actions. When this starts to happen, misogyny will plummet, because men need someone to bootlick and if their current overlord says being nasty to women is bad, you bet they'll listen.

I have curly hair. It works for me (especially leave in conditioner without sulfates) but I don't use loads of product because the layering is what makes it work for me. My hair has been really manageable lately which is why I suggested it. I don't always use an oil though.

So I know how embroidery works, but I have a retarded question. How do you decided where to embroider a design? I seriously can't think of anything, my mind goes blank the moment I grab my needles and threads, I have lots of ideas but I seriously can't think of something to place them at. Is there even something like an embroidery book or something like that were I could just put my ideas as if it was some album?

One of my curly friends used to always recommended conditioner or leave in conditioner sprays and it always made my hair look limp/greasy or made it "too soft" and unable to hold a curl anymore (even bigger poof). My hair is very thick and doesn't sink in water afa strand test so I guess isn't porous but would think it was by the way it looks in humidity, after straightening. I've recommended this aloe gel so many times on lc it's probably personality fagging but the main reason I like it is bc it doesn't flake/look like dandruff and keeps my curls in place. I find the only thing that really works is having longer hair, since it will always poof up with less weight

Maybe but doesnt tying wet hair like this damage it?
>>2595648
It is high porosity but it also simultaneously gets greasy super fast so this would make my hair look like a wet blob kek. but thank you anyways
>>2595651
I was thinking of treatments but idk what ones are most recommended? Anything that would make my hair straighter, even slightly, would be nice. This keratin smoothing thing looks nice. Ill probably look and see if any nearby places do it

When you dry your hair, dry it upside down. Like flip your head so that it's pointing towards the ground and then on the middle heat setting with your hair dryer, focus on the roots. After it's mid-dry, flip your head back up and brush your hair how you want it styled, then flip back down and finish the drying with cool setting on the hair dryer. Flip back up and style it, then apply hairspray meant for volume.

your hair needs more moisture overall, so it doesn't keep sucking it out of the atmosphere. oils and creams help block it from doing that too.

Nt keratin anon but that would make sense since it originated in brazil, prob for the same reasons. I had this done years ago and the grow out phase sucks, my hair was just as poufy (but straight) but it could have just been a bad job since it seems to look good on many women

why is the word “females” bad or wrong to use? a lot of people act like it’s only a word nasty scrotes can use. i don’t get it. i’m so serious

No. 2595758

>>2595747
you'd usually say "women" or maybe "female people"? as for why its offensive, i guess it has to do with the reductive nature of addressing somebody by a trait they have. like how its generally considered derogatory to say "blacks" over saying "black people". its not inheritely a bad word to use ofc but its considered derogatory to call a group of women "females". i hope this makes sense

No. 2595759

>>2595747
yes the term itself is neutral, it's usually used in a clinical or like scientific sense, not in normal settings to refer to female humans, women, normally. so men chose to use "females" to dehumanize women like they're subhuman or animals.

>people act like it’s only a word nasty scrotes can use.
It's not that they CAN use it, it's that they DO use the word "females" to degrade women lol.
They'll say "Men and females" casually and think they're so subtle in their misogyny because they're referring to themselves as humans but women as animals.

Female is an adjective, woman is a noun. An adult human female is called a woman, in the same way that an adult human male is called a man. It is considered derogatory when a woman is called a "female" because it's dehumanizing.

Tbf you used female as a noun here but yeah it's dehumanising on its own, like talking about animals in a documentary. "The female is unimpressed with the male's bower…"

It’s less what they say and more what they don’t say. Go on any Reddit thread (or any place that’s predominately male). They’ll call men “men” and women “females,” often in the same paragraph or even sentence, as a means of dehumanizing. Like nobody cares when a cop says “a female” because they say “a male” just as often.

Anyone else just find gay porn funny?

I swear it's like a charlie chaplin skit, it's just hilarious and absurd to see. I don't know why I associate gay sex with slapstick, but it just appears like slapstick comedy, does it to anyone else?

I was looking at gay porn the other day for research for M/M fanfiction I'm making and god, they're all so ugly and there's lots of trannies and femboy shit it's actually gross and very unsexy. This is why yaoi is superior.

It's the best kind of fandom to have imo. I can only rewatch or reread something so many times but I can listen to the same music over and over for my entire lifetime, so if it turns out I like the members I'll stay interested in them for ages.

This question may appear to be total racebait but I'm completely honest with this.

Why exactly are non-white men so obsessed with white women? I'm white myself and don't get it, I really don't.

This is from that New York Mayor Zorhan, where he goes into detail about pathetically pining after white girls. You actually find the same sort of rhetoric in Obamas memoirs, and Franz Farron, and Du Bois, and basically every non-white racial agitator has a sneeding memoir moment where he crybabies about a white woman rejecting him.

Other anons explained it already, but I think it's worth adding, that they know perfectly well that it's dehumanizing. In English it may confuse some women and go under the radar, but it becomes much more obvious when foreign scrotes translate that way of speaking into their native languages, where 'female' is only ever used in relation to animals. Moids in my country have started doing it, translating it 1:1, and it sounds so jarring and openly misogynistic, it's unmistakable what they think of you. They're trying to push it and get a slur into the conversation with the ability to deny it if called out

I think it’s mainly due to the fact that these people live in white dominated areas. If you are surrounded by white people your whole life that’s just going to be your normal and that’s what your brain is going to morph sexuality and attraction.
I am personally black and I live in Europe. I don’t know any person of color (sad) of my age that isn’t my family, now that I started college I definitely met more but I still haven’t made friends. Although I don’t find disdain towards men of color , I still find them attractive , but I do like white men too because they are what I am mostly familiar with and who I have had experiences with. But I don’t actively seek them out though, I find Asian men hot too so maybe I’m not the right person for this kek. I just like hot people to look at.
