Both myself and my sibling are STILL suffering from serious medical/dental issues from the uninformed half of the lifestyle- one of these issues being scoliosis. I know for a fact that Fern’s life is going to be filled with so much pain just from my own issues that stemmed from the same malnutrition/neglect that he’s facing, and he’s going to be in even more pain with no life skills or savings money to fund corrective procedures. If he even gets a mind of his own, because it’s apparent that Allison doesn’t care about his consent if he doesn’t want to be vegan anymore, he will hate her for the rest of his life and (hopefully) never want anything to do with her once he’s moved out. But, with Allison riding a bike without helmets and taking him to all these random places while in the middle of the pandemic, I’m afraid he won’t make it to that point if she continues on this road. It’s especially scary since she’s the one who spends a majority of the time with him and steals him away from his (admittedly disgusting) father, grandparents, etc.

Works full time to support Alice and her lifestyle, and apparently in his spare time all he does is play video games. He doesn’t cook for or clean up after himself since his tradwife stopped doing it. He’s probably intoxicated all the time he’s not on the clock, apparently he drinks a lot and is a stoner (excessive alcohol bottles, arrested for possession of marijuana) so of course his emotional maturity is nonexistent.
Their relationship must be hellish, but I don’t feel sorry for either of these grown ass adults who can choose to make a different decision for themselves at any time. I feel compassion for Fern and the potential baby on the way.
