Since an anon in Moos thread asked to hear from more about Kelton, let's continue here.
I made a really simple example of Kelton's shoddy work. His guns are on the left, another artists are on the right. All you have to do is zoom in on any picture he posts. His work is sloppy and lumpy up close.
For his makeup work he has bad edges on his prosthetics, his color selection and application is poor. His sculpting is average, but nothing amazing for a professional fx artist. In the cosplay world he's much better than average, but I can't imagine he gets legitimate industry work.
His costuming and prop making is sloppy. His sense of proportion is nonexistent and most of his costumes when you can find a full body picture make him look like a cosplaying dwarf. Find a full body picture of his Hanzo, it's like an optical illusion.
He buys expensive fabrics and trims to brag about but can't pattern things properly for his body. Zoom into the pictures on his IG, or look at him irl and his work falls apart.
Once you aren't distracted by the moving parts, piles of glued on embellishments and lights you can see his horrible paint jobs and lumpy worbla.
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with the guy if he didn't boast and brag so much. He's a totally average cosplayer and a professional bullshit artist. He brags nonstop about how expensive everything he uses is but it's just a waste of money because he doesn't do the expensive materials justice.
He's just another example of a guy with above average cosplay skills impressing cosplayers, but not having the technical ability to call himself a professional like he does.
