Those men don't want things to change, they don't want to worry about too much competition or too many bars to reach, and they find the whole thing unfair for the typical incel reasons. They want to siphon votes from a minority of black people to get a bit of an edge in (and make voting extremely difficult for those they can't convince, which are and will be most of them, let's be real), and if they win, it's back to the usual subjugation, religious garbage, and letting the other foolish minorities try and scramble to be their secondhand men on the platform of "At least we're not black". The entire scheme is to maximize profit/success for the small percentage of white people lucky enough to be born into well-off families, keep black people as a permanent underclass with even fewer windows out of poverty, and let the brown and Asian people get like half a step in before knocking them back into their place, too.
I still remember the affirmative action debacle where Asian people genuinely thought they were in alliance with republican white people against black people "getting in unfairly" and "taking their spots" (despite the fact that affirmative action primarily benefited white women anyway), only for Asians to actually suffer even more regarding university admissions after AA was phased out. If we're to hold up IQ stats as infallible and trustworthy, they're actually higher in IQ than their white counterparts, but so many of them still fell for such a stupid trick because they thought they were/had proven themselves "honorary whites". They never stopped to ask why the side of the majority race that proudly and openly prioritize their own kind (and who already know Asians statistically make more money than them in their own country) would
ever want them or their children overrepresented in their institutions. Conservative-leaning people in Asian countries also wouldn't want white people, black people or anyone else taking up too many spaces in their universities. They're even like that with smaller things than university, like when a white woman who tried to represent Japan as a beauty queen got cancelled and relentlessly stalked until they found and reported something they could have her removed from the entire pageant over. She was a citizen, respected the culture and spoke the language fluently, but they didn't care (all this happening while Japan is actually quite fond of white people). Republican Asians in the US somehow couldn't recognize that pattern, and they're still complaining about unfair treatment. People are retards.

IMO, it likely would've been better if black people had successfully separated with their dues in money/resources from slavery (as Malcolm X suggested, though he was a cow) instead of kissing the ring. (Actual) anti-racist white people could've fought off their more racist kind from fucking them over, and if needed or wanted, America could've possibly re-integrated later on with a sense of "real equality" between races, but that wasn't in the cards. Racial hierarchies are easier, appeal more to the "simpler" folk and soothe the ego. Plus, pretty much every "slave revolt" state and formerly colonized African country was set up to fail with insane "colonial taxes", assassinations, sanctions and/or artificially drawn borders (not to mention the pre-existing menace of Islam and their slave trade), so it might've always been over.
