Enough bickering about Toryfags we've already heard enough from them. Let's discuss the real issues: curly fries or smiley potatoes? Explain your answer.
Personally I prefer curly fries as I think they have a much more interesting texture and taste a bit more seasoned than smiley taties.

OP should feel lucky that her own immediate family are this ashamed of her for being a benefit-leeching tax thief, yet haven't reported her to the DWP. And clearly they are all in agreement that she's not genuinely disabled.

They're punishing those on benefits because they can't sell them off into cheap labour like they do to migrant scrotes. Not to tinfoil either but we're absolutely about to see a huge spike in the rates of sexual assault and other violent crimes in the coming years, in the areas where there's a high amount of male migrants in hotels or other housing.

They're doing this shit right under your nose and a lot of you haven't been brought up in these areas and it's very telling by the way you think it's "made up".
The UK police are far too concerned with keeping the good favour of men in certain communities over the actual safety and protection of girls across all communities. Money that's supposed to go on their kids going on lip fillers, turkey teeth, hot tubs, Audi on finance, Louis Vuitton purses, pitbulls, music festivals, holidays, fags and booze, meanwhile their little ones have clothes with holes in them. I'm sick of the inequality that the benefits system perpetuates. Having a children or playing up a common illness like depression (which most people who suffer do still work) should not be a free ride for life. It's absurd. And these are the same people complaining about migrants 'taking up free hotels' when they do the same shit.
As an accountant, you aren't on the front lines. I used to be a teacher in state schools and almost all the Pupil Premium parents, somehow, have money for designer clothes, fags and weed, meanwhile the taxpayer is putting lunch on their kids table and they're wearing their brothers enormous school uniform. These are the same parents who have the gall to make a complaint once their child behaves violently towards staff and students.
So yeah, I can't really be classist, as a working class teacher, towards people who literally do not even work for a living. They don't even spend the money for what it's given to them for, I'm fed up of paying taxes for other people to raise kids when I can't even afford to have my own.

No. 2490557
>>2490547>>2490547Yes I have. Grew up on a rough estate and did shit jobs for most of my life, where I met the exact types you're describing. Yes it's wrong that they exploit the system. Doesn't change the fact they're still a minority and the government changes to the system don't actually fix fraud, it just makes it harder for genuinely disabled people to receive support in a system that already largely ignores them (I'm not talking about depression, but actual illnesses). Let's not conveniently forget that a lot of PIP claims are rejected first try even with mountains of evidence, and assessors will straight up lie on the reports.
>>2490540>most welfare benefits are given to people who are fully capable of workingSource? Also be specific here. PIP is very different from Universal Credit. I'm talking about PIP and the changes to it. PIP is also not dependent on your ability to work, for example many disabled people need PIP to have accessible transport or aids that help them keep jobs or commute to work.
>government is finally clamping down on wasting our tax money on this shitThey're changing the criteria of an already massively retarded application process and these "clamp downs" mean that a lot of genuinely ill or disabled people will lose their award at the updated reviews because of said changes. If they were doing this with the safety and help of disabled/ill people in mind they would make it harder for scroungers to claim by just stating that you NEED medical evidence from NHS professionals. The current changes don't make any sense at all and it's strangely convenient how they're targeting the benefit that disabled people receive as opposed to something like UC which genuinely does need a huge reform.
No. 2490566
>>2490560Your own experience doesn't speak for statistics so let's drop that, I also have lived experience of growing up around scroungers but that still doesn't speak for a country that ideally should be looking after disabled and vulnerable people. Scroungers are still a minority, just because they're popping up in the newspapers for clicks and views doesn't change that.
>Look in the cluster b thread for a startNot a reliable source. They're idiots over there sure but some retards on a LC thread don't represent the average person here.
>I applied for my friend to get UC because of anxiety and they awarded him £400 a month without much of a fussYeah, I don't agree with that. There should be medical evidence of it being bad enough to affect his daily life. The issue is you're talking about UC here, not PIP. They're two completely different things and assessment processes. It's well-known that even with a lot of medical evidence and proven history of long-term disability, a lot of PIP assessors straight up lie on their report decisions or just don't give you anything at all so you have to appeal and then spend ages waiting for tribunal.
My point is that the "reform" of PIP doesn't actually do shit, it just makes the criteria more confusing and more difficult. It isn't addressing the fact that assessors are useless, lie and ignore medical evidence. And let's be real scroungers are always going to find a way to play the system, no it shouldn't be easy for them to do so I agree, but the way they've changed the criteria only punishes those who really need it. And keep in mind you hear and see a lot about scroungers because they're flashy and unashamed of playing the system, but there's a lot more genuinely disabled people out there who will suffer from the changes and don't have the support network or voice to speak out about it.

One time, I was in a lift at a London station and this chav with a pram starts berating me for getting in the lift with her, saying I should've just waited for the next lift even though there was plenty of room for both of us. She kept going on and on and on and I just said 'Sorry, I'd love to keep chatting but I'm off to work now, to pay for YOUR benefits' and she crashed out so hard screaming that staff came to her to see what all the drama was. She was screaming that she 'owns a business' (teaching others how to scam benefits???) only further compounding my suspicion that she was, in fact, a tax-suckling benefit grifter.

You're all doing exactly what the media and government wanted and it's honestly so sad to see. Again, I'll repeat for those too retarded to read: the changes don't even efficiently crack down on fraud, it just walls off those already vulnerable.
I also find it funny how none of you have acknowledged my very real point about what would happen when any of you need to seek assistance from the government because of a future disability or health condition. The same retarded changes you're currently celebrating are going to come back and bite you on the arse in the future. Carry on with the cock sucking and you might be lucky enough to get a tenner here and there from PIP 3.0 after 2 tribunals and 14 months of waiting. And don't you dare think about buying a treat for yourself now and then because they're spying on your bank statements, too. That's something to celebrate, right? Try not to be too excited about it.

No. 2490680
>>2490634I work for some clients who are disabled and these are a few good points they've brought up: there's already some criteria in place but for PIP you can apply even if you have no medical evidence of whatever health issue you're claiming for. That's a problem obviously as people can just make stuff up, I agree, and if you've got an assessor who dgaf and just wants to get the report done asap, they can wrongly assign a standard rate of either component. Diagnosis can be hard especially if you're a woman given the state of women's care, but evidence should still be essential. Currently it isn't. This shouldn't be a thing, and in order to crack down on these bogus claims of "I feel depressed/anxious" there needs to be a tighter link between the actual assessors and health professionals. Mental health claims especially should have consistent significant evidence considering it's much easier to fake mental health issues than a physical one.
The issue is that the recent changes are changing mostly the points-based criteria of the assessment sheets instead of actually looking at the holes and flaws in PIP both on the claimant and assessor's sides.
Messing about by changing the points score doesn't achieve anything, given what matters most is consistent enough evidence of something affecting your life, signed by NHS professionals. Under this new points system that Labour propose, someone who's genuinely disabled and receives standard daily living might actually lose that altogether at their next review based on that retarded points change. They haven't mentioned any positive changes towards Maximus or Capita (the company the assessors work for) in regards to the very frequent lies the assessors will make on a disabled person's report. For example I work with someone who has seizures quite often, most days of the week and unfortunately it makes him incontinent and he needs a carer to do some daily tasks as he doesn't get a warning for these seizures. He doesn't have a diagnosis for it yet but had pages of medical evidence and tests supporting this. The assessor then lied and said he has no problems with any of this and has no evidence. They are allowed to do that, and there's no consequences to it, like at all.
They're actually retarded and let loose to do whatever they want with whatever claimant they want. There's no standard to work with the evidence in mind and that's how so many people fake claim and also how so many people who genuinely need it, don't get it and get lied to. The PIP system in general needs a complete reform with medical evidence and actual competent assessors at the forefront instead of just some random retarded changes to the points with no actual accountability towards who exactly is doing these reports. All the government have to do is crack down on Maximus/Capita and work with the NHS to provide disabled people a chance at support but they won't do that because they're fucking useless. If they also cared about disabled people getting into jobs they'd create schemes to support that but they haven't. Generally speaking here, good luck finding an employer who will cater to someone who has to be off work a lot because of their disability.
Again this is just me speaking about PIP here. I think the disability part of UC is similar but I don't know enough about that to comment on it. If the government are genuinely so concerned about holes in budgets and losing money I think they should be looking at the immigration crisis, child benefit fraud and politician's claiming everything back through expenses instead of penalizing a demographic that already finds it super difficult to get the support they need.

>>2490697Ayrt, I have no idea and it's actually disgusting. I agree with you totally, mild claims of depression and anxiety should be put in like a minor/temporary category or just removed tbh and less prioritized than the example I gave. This would ease the strain on the process in general for sure. The lad I'm on about was working full-time and fired from his job because of what happened, he tried to seek help from the system he's paid tax into since he was young, and his report was just full of lies for the entire "daily living" section. They had the audacity to say he didn't seek a specialist referral even though he had evidence of said referral.
>is there no complaints procedure against the assessorsI do know that you can write to the DWP but given the state of them it will probably take months to get a response. The only thing claimants can do is apply for an appeal (which also often get rejected for some dumb reason) and then go to tribunal. That can take a really long time and it's such a waste of time and resources as opposed to just getting Maximus/Capita to sort their shit out in the first place.

>why does only Europe seem to have a mass migration crisisI wish I could have a concrete answer for this but I do know that part of this comes down to cheap, easily-exploitable under the table labour. For every migrant you'll see working minimum-wage in a warehouse there's about 5 more doing cash in hand work in appalling working conditions.

>Isn't there a way to stop this shit already? There is, they could just close the borders. Pretty sure Poland is tight on migration and surprise surprise, they're not having problems (if it's not Poland I apologize but somewhere in Eastern Europe). It's very easy to turn away boats of fighting-age young men, we have the funds and powers to. I just fear that the majority of Europe is taking advantage of cheap labour and potential workers who will gladly do it for pennies. They don't care about the safety of legal citizens or even other immigrants who have worked hard to move somewhere. They don't care about preserving culture, or making sure our own homeless are housed and safe first, they don't care about the safety of women or the housing crisis, they just want cheap labour.
Personally I don't care what the reasons are - whether it's financial or something a bit more "tinfoil" like a replacement theory. They shouldn't be here full stop. It's clear they have no intentions to blend into society or respect the laws and culture, but they're actually being rewarded for being like that. Immigration is such a huge reason for people's voting methods because immigration is currently a huge problem and ruining our economy more than it provides. I reported the guy who laugh reacted this comment to his employer, he apparently works with children. Was this the right thing to do or was it going OTT? I feel really uneasy about misogynistic migrants from even more misogynistic countries (he's Nigerian) working closely with children if they laugh at little girls getting raped.

He's spot on, particularly re creating a class of victims and overdiagnosing. Parent properly and you won't need to doctor shop until a private autism diagnosis comforts your conscience. Based Farage.

>>2511642I feel like we've swung from one end to the other without even trying to have a balance here. First it was ADHD, autism, depression etc being very taboo especially in girls, now it's the complete opposite where if you exhibit a mood swing or difficulties in school now and then you're shipped off and given some bogus diagnosis. It's overloading the system and it's no wonder girls who actually are autistic have to wait months for a diagnosis because there's about 100 other children in line for an assessment even though in reality they're just badly-behaved and their parents aren't disciplining them properly.
I'm seeing that a lot in young boys nowadays. Not to sound like and oldfag but back in my day when young boys were misbehaving they had their phone or bikes taken away and were made to go do chores or grounded or receive some sort of fitting punishment for being nobheads in their teenage years. Now they're not even given a slap on the wrist and it's written off as muh ADHD. All this culture is doing is enabling bad behaviour and
victim complex and it's taking away precious time and resources from people who actually need it.

I find the source to be dubious and there are no other news outlets reporting this but if it's true this is yet another new low for Labour.

>be britbong
>fill out 111 form, describe health problem
>111 call back, tell me to go straight to A&E
>spend half a day in the most torturous waiting room ever conceived
>five minute conversation with doctor
>doctor says it's likely anxiety
>womanmoment.jpg
>however there is a specialist clinic i can see to be sure
>womanvictory.jpg
>specialist clinic can only be referred to through GP
>after referral, there's a two week wait time
>go home empty handed
>call GP to book appointment
>they say i have to book a routine appointment, not emergency
>nearest routine appointment is a month away
>still ill
>even worse, still british
How did it get like this, nonnies? Is this just a consequence of the postcode lottery or is this the state of affairs near you, too? I could've sworn there was a point in time where it was actually worth trying to see a medical professional about a medical problem. Did I just imagine that? Am I turning into Colours?

>>2514435Unless you are dying, there's no point going to a&e, and I'm saying this as someone who has worked in one. You'll be lucky if you're treated in any less than 4 hours for anything very serious like sepsis or a heart attack, and 12 hours is a pretty standard waitaround time for anything else.
To be honest, a lot of people in a&e legitimately dont need to be there and could have seen their GP or gone to a small injuries clinic instead. They just get directed there, wrongly, by 111 nurses following protocol.
I would always see people come in with a normal case of winter vomiting bug, a sprain from a football injury, feeling a bit dizzy, having toothache, etc etc. Things that really arent emergencies and could have been waited out at home or seen by a GP instead.
>>2514440To be fair, my area had barely any immigrants and was still always full to the brim because of drunkards and drug addicts. On weekends, 70% or more of A&E visits can be alcohol related. A massive chunk of people in a&e at any given time usually drunks or drug addicts who have had ODs/seizures or passed out and they hog beds for 12+ hours to even wake up, beds that could have been given to someone with a more serious condition. Alcoholism, drug addiction and obesity is going to be the final nails in the coffin for the NHS.

>>2515971Addicts in the UK are given free healthcare, free housing, bennies, free rehab programmes, free everything really. At some point they dont want to get better, they're just intentionally trying to be a burden on society and I cant blame doctors who get compassion fatigue from constantly being around them. Not only that but drunks and druggies are always the most belligerent and
abusive to the nurses, paramedics and drs, who are expected to tolerate this and save them regardless (and do). It's just sad that people with genuine emergencies are having to wait 24 hours or more for a bed that's been taken up by some dickhead who went on another bender.

>>251597>>2516026I cannot argue with the points you’ve made. I wish that addicts with functional jobs, who pay their own housing costs and families to support who actually want to improve could be prioritised though.
In better news…. BoE cuts rates.

I'm not trying to start a race war here, I'm just glad that this will somewhat impede the human trafficking that's so rampant in the UK. The amount of people, particularly women, lured in with fake job offers is beyond appalling and obviously nobody does anything because, uhhhhh, it's their beautiful Albanian culture to kidnap and rape and butcher women. We all know that human trafficking isn't going to stop because of this law but it will make it much harder for gangs to lure victims in with fake job offers. It's less risky than smuggling them in by boat or truck because the lamb pays for its own legal trip to the slaughterhouse, and it's easy for the traffickers to set up ten million fake companies and throw visas around like confetti.
I'm praying that they extend this to marriage visas too. Men are able to ship in women from their own countries from poor as shit rural areas who don't speak a word of English and need to rely on their new family for everything. And when they mysteriously vanish one day nobody knows or cares. If these women were forced to learn enough English to be able to have a conversation, so many lives would be saved.
The article also goes on to say that they'll be asked if they agree with British values as they'll be expected to integrate. I know it's easy to lie but a lot of the really awful moids aren't smart enough to do that. It's not a lot but it's a start.
