>>2570299Nonna, what race are you? I think I know, but I won't say it. I'll just plead with you not to cape for other people. The same kindness will never be reciprocated, that isn't really part of their culture. Some people are nice, but not to the point of all this.
Indian men are unpopular not just for their looks, but their complete and total lack of a relevant cultural legacy in the US. White men have a legacy, Latino men have a legacy, black men have a legacy, Native American men have a legacy. They've all demonstrated masculine status through battle, warfare, strife, and survival, and are integral to US history in some way. The same just isn't true of Indians. What people do know is that India is a bad place. If you're a rich person from a bad place, and you also bear zero resemblance to any of the "relevant" races, you are reputationally starting from zero. They can accumulate wealth, and they've done a great job at that because their families are already wealthy back home, but their part of the world is internationally known for little but suffering, filth and sexual predation. The spirituality got thrown out and stopped carrying them when the whole world became a little less idealistic.
The men that show up have no "vim", they're not physically strong or cool to appeal to machismo and get people to romanticize them (black men's image and cultural legacy within the US gives them a "bad boy" status to rest upon, and African men benefit both from that and the idea of Africa as this rough and tumble, hellish place where they've come out both powerful and "more civilized") and they can't forge a "manly" path through life on the streets the way Latino and black men have because they're weedy rich kids who didn't have to lift a finger and it shows. Even within India, the downtrodden men aren't strong, tall or handsome. Nutrition issue, genetics, whatever. It is what it is. East Asian men would be in a similar predicament, had it not been for the US helping build up South Korea and reforming Japan so now their countries are not only livable (if you ignore the extreme and fucked up internal social issues), but have enough soft power and goodwill to make impressionable people kneel and worship them thanks to kpop, anime, etc.
Ultimately, all of this is the Indian man's cross to bear. No one needs to help or feel pity for him, because he won't even help the less fortunate "dalits" back home. And yes, Indian men in India are rapey. If India had not been so horrible, the Indian man could live in a similar way to the Filipino, Laotian or Vietnamese man does (quietly, without much hatred, just a bit of scorn from their pale-skinned counterparts). The H1B visa thing has done nothing but annoy people even more, and Elon was tone-deaf in defending it because in South Africa, it's "normal" to have a bunch of Indians as a buffer class to other group's detriment. Also, Indian women
don't get the same amount or type of hate, they're straight up ignored. The most they get is people joking that they smell bad. They're literally so invisible that if someone raceswaps a white character with an Indian actor/actress in a piece of media, everyone starts talking about black people and calling them black, lmao. Many Indian women are mistaken for Arab or Latina because people just don't really think about them. It can be a blessing or a curse.
>>2570310I will concede that racial association with reviled men is bad news for women, and misogynists will try to paint you as nothing but a "walking womb" for those men, but that's a completely separate, specifically female struggle with racism.
