NTA, old post but I think anyone who's been thinking of playing What in Hell Is Bad for the femdom should read this.

I've been playing it for the past month (PC/Steam version) because it was shilled on /m/, and there's so much maledomshit (with choking and slapping, etc. even the love interests' attitude is annoyingly dominant) in the main story AND in the sex cards that I almost got filtered. Pulling the femdom cards will take forever, so I advise you not to play, unless you're prepared to grind or to whale (lol). Or, if you can endure all that and log-in for a whole month, you get one free L-rank card (sex card) of your choice, meaning you can pick one of the femdom cards. But be careful, because sometimes you can't tell just by looking at the art whether the card's story will actually be femdom or not. Even if they look subby in the illustration they can still be dominant in the story.

There's a lot of characters, and a lot of them have very coomer designs, so that's a plus. But the couple ones I actually like aside from coomer reasons are A+ rank, and those don't get sex scenes or extra content. Since most of the characters are dominant and annoying like I said before, I actually hate most of them kek. The protagonist isn't as stupid as the typical Japanese otome protagonist, but the moid devils still treat her as a clumsy damsel in distress and a lot of times disregard her feelings because they "love her" so much which is something that I can't stand.

Honestly, the plot is kind of retarded and boring, and whether it's the main story or an event story, there's horrible amounts of padding in between each part, which makes everything feel even more pointless and like it's designed to make you spend on the game as much as possible. The translation at the beginning is laughably bad, although it does improve somewhat over time. The UI, especially in battles, is full of minor, but still annoying glitches. The "battle" gameplay is also pretty bad, and it seems that the devs didn't give a fuck about level design, so in harder levels you're simply prevented from placing your units in spots that would be pretty convenient (it makes zero sense for those spots to be blocked for you). The little bits of (shit) plot you get in between the (shit) gameplay sections makes the main story a real slog.

I'm in Chapter 4 now and I stopped giving a fuck about the plot a long while ago, so now I just skip everything so I can move on to the next battle. There are beginner missions that give you lots of "keys" which are your gacha pull tickets, and now I just need to finish Chapter 4 to get 100 free pulls. And there's no pity system for that specific banner, so I can only hope I get the characters I want in these 100 pulls (I probably won't, lmao). After getting the one I want, I'll stop because this game is predatory as fuck, but its quality definitely does not make up for it. This game is absolute trash in terms of quality and maledomshit, and the cherry on top is that most of the character sprites have horrendous webtoon-tier anatomy and the shitty Live2D animation makes me cringe every time, so I can't wait to pull the one character I want so I can finally fuck off and uninstall this huge steaming pile of kusoge.

Ah yes. You can leave an opinion on each character card, but the comments are full of gendertards and ironic femdomfags from Reddit and Xitter, the exact kind that are made fun of here. Expect lots of obnoxious "babygirl", "I wanna impregnate him" and "I wanna peg him" jokes with tons of likes. There's this trap/otokonoko character, Paimon, who is voiced by a female voice actor because he is supposed to be impossibly androgynous, but is still very obviously a crossdressing male demon, has a dick (that he penetrates you with) and is always referred to as a "he". His opinion section is full of morons who keep calling him "they", retards who genuinely can't tell what """gender""" he's supposed to be, and spineless cucks who can only say "h-his pronouns are he/him, guys!!1" instead of just calling him a male. Some missions require you to go to a character's comment section and like other people's comments or leave an opinion of your own, which is how you'll sometimes end up seeing these atrocious comments (they're usually at the top).

But here's what the game does right: the coomer designs, the protagonist being a huge pervert who's not afraid of sex, the yume aspect, and the delicious femgaze L-rank card art and voice acting. There's also uncensored dick in these L-rank cards. I wish more otome games had these elements, actually I wish these had been saved for a better game.

Most of them aren't "mean" per se but rather they do some things without asking for your consent first (like touching your ass and boobs as they please, claiming that you belong to them) but the MC loves it because she's a pornsick degenerate and none of this is taken seriously. It's funny that I dropped this game mainly because of the mc being like that. I love horny mcs, but I want a normal human being (preferably with prior sex experience) who likes to have sex based on genuine chemistry (closest I can imagine would be a genderbent Eiden) and not some poorly done femcel self-fulfillment bpdchan who got all her sex knowledge from ddlg porn. And here's another dumb thing about this game's sex scenes. When the text says that the moid is shy or acting in a submissive way, or you're doing something to him, either there's no CG being shown (only his regular sprite so you have to use your imagination) or the CG that is being shown is showing the opposite of that. IMO Gatekeeping isn’t about “feeling less special” but more so now having to deal with retards that now shit up the spaces and bring their autism into it. It was easier to deal with nerds and autists over a small niche. It was easier to find merch at decent prices. What gets me is that when I was younger I once wrote a F/F fic and was really excited to make lots of friends through it (kek) but then woke up the next day with literally 99+ hate comments in my askbox because I was apparently terfy. Being a kid who had never received hate comments in her life I was obviously scared of this so I panicked and deleted my tumblr account.

Yurifags aren't yuri fans otherwise they'd write it themselves and encourage others to as well. Instead they just want to harass people because they all have inferiority complexes about being talentless retards, so blaming random people gives them a "high" that they then have to keep chasing, to them being a "Yuri shipper" is the equivalent of being a fandom minority.

I think the thing is that fandom has for many years characterized itself as being super gay super LGBT whatever, and the shoe hasn’t dropped for women into yuri that most fandom bis/lesbians/etc are just straights with extra steps. A lot of of raceswap art is made by POC teenagers. The appeal is to reimagine a character, it's just an au. I wouldn't consider raceswap art like picrel intentionally malicious, usually I assume some black kid just wanted to draw their favorite characters like themselves

Tbf I doubt the sort of person that dont like race swaps are happy with teenagers. Teens as is, are a pain in the ass to have to tiptoe around, though of course these sort of fandoms are for them so its not like it shouldn't be expected.
