How in the world are there people who think Taylor Swift, of all women, is gay? Not even bi, but full-on lesbian.

I've always considered myself bi but I only like dick when it's inside me. I hate looking at dicks, I hate touching dicks and I'd rather kill myself than suck a dick. Any other bi/het girls like this or am I just a lesbian in denial?

It's the same for me to be honest. I don't find men sexually attractive, I don't like dicks in general, but I only get off to penetrative sex. I wish women could have dicks without being trannies.

Can I just jump into any instalment of the when they cry series? I've been thinking about starting the series with Umineko or Higarashi

No. 703465

>>703431
They are both totally unrelated, Umineko has a few callbacks to Higurashi, and they have like one minor character in common but it's more of an easter egg than anything meaningful. It's generally agreed that Higurashi is better than Umineko (and has a way less obnoxious fanbase) so maybe start with the latter.

how can i find an online job that pays around $300-$500 a month? that'll pay for my rent at least. i live in a foreign country for now and my job options are very limited due to my visa status.

No. 703496

>>703483
Maybe you could work for an online language school. I know that Amazon hires translators to basically teach Alexa English too.

No. 703503

>>703483
The only online jobs that pay decently are normal jobs that are just located from home. You can find them by going on whatever job search websites are popular in your country and specifying something like ‘work from home’ or ‘remote working’. However, I assume that wouldn’t be allowed due to your visa.

You can earn a little from translating, typing, academic studies, market research, etc but unlikely to be that much. If you plan not to get deported, obviously be careful with reporting income as necessary.

Also, I don't know what I should do this because my body is completely warm toned yet my face is cool toned. Sometimes in photos it look photoshopped.

Face, because wearing the wrong colors around your face makes you look older/unhealthier then you are. It's all about flattering your face, not your body (for colors). Unless you wear foundation, then I'd say consider matching your foundation to your body and go with warm colors.

Unless you have money to spend like water I feel like designer bags are kind of a scam and a waste tbh, like it's literally just for the name. Buy it anon! People act like it's wrong to buy luxurious items, but it's not bad. Luxury bags usually go up in value anyway, and maybe some time in the future you could sell it for a lot of money depending on what brand it is, the age, availability, etc….

Imo, the "I could've spent this money on something else" argument doesn't really work cause, there's tons of "better" things you can spend money on, even if it's a small amount. Plus, your probably gonna have that bag for years. Just buy and and treat yourself.

If the older dude wasn't ugly though, I would pick him, I like older men. Idk why I'm giving this question so much thought anyway.

The hot young guy, himbos are cute, or at least seem cute to me, if he’s emotionally stupid, it could be interesting. Being able to teach someone I like about the stuff I like and seeing him getting excited about it must be fun. If he’s stupid but not an ignorant fuck, then definitely the young himbo.
The thing with equally intelligent guys is that The ones I’ve met tend to be really fucking annoying about it and it drives me up the wall, because they don’t know they possess the same information that I have, they think they’re superior and that’s motherfucking annoying to hell and back.
They won’t try to learn about new stuff with you because they will think they already know about it before you and then they will try to explain you such things as if you were a fucking retard.
So yeah, the himbo wins.

I love him, he does anything I ask him to do, but at the same time he is also just so head empty sometimes. It's quite annoying, I ask him to use critical thinking skills and he just can't. Not to mention asking him to look for things… sheesh. I can find things in 5 seconds, takes him 30 minutes.

Paladin is pretty safe and can dish out decent enough damage to not struggle too much through story quests and you will have fast queue times for dungeons!

Healers can struggle a little through the story in the start due to low dmg output and dps is very fun but prepare yourself for long wait times in later dungeons.

For my senior economics project in highschool, my teacher made everyone in the senior class play a stock game that used a website that gave us $10k imaginary money and was based on actual stock data. Basically let us run wild and a lot of people came out with more money but his whole lesson was 'stocks aren't entirely bad if you know what you're doing and are a legitimate way to grow your money'. He was also adamant about investing in Tesla. Highschool me should've taken the money I got from my parents and invested in Tesla as soon as I turned 18 lol. I'm not super big or well versed on investing/stocks, but my roth IRA is mostly invested in mutual funds and I only own some stocks in Tesla and Apple (but I know some people will discourage owning individual stocks) because of the stock split that happened a few months ago.

Everyone speaks English, but many signs and things also contain Gaelic, the political parties, postal and bus/train services have Gaelic names, many Irish people's names are Gaelic/have Gaelic meanings, and Irish do learn Gaelic in school and have varying levels of skill at it. It's considered more of a novelty among younger people but I think older people are more likely to converse in Gaelic. You do not need to speak Gaelic to get around in Ireland though since 99% of the time people speak English.

I do it in my room with my door locked and tell my family it’s a work meeting, but if that’s not an option for you, then I think the car should be just fine. It’s not weird at all and, more importantly, your therapist will understand. I can’t compare my experience to in-person therapy since I’ve never had it, but I would say it’s been quite positive so far. I think anon is implying that the person should be punished for lying about something that ends up with someone else in jail (which is fair, if you purposefully lie about someone in order to incarcerate them, then you should go to jail), but most teenagers don't look anything close to adults anyway, and like you said it's your responsibility to make sure your s/o is an adult.

>>705208
That's an interesting question. Maybe? I think there's going to be more digital exhibitions in the future. Perhaps technology will take us so far one day that we'll be able to visit a museum through VR from our own livingspaces, eliminating the need for museums all together. Museums are also largely dependent on public/government funding (at least where I am) so I think it's also largely dependent how much people want to continue to support the preservation of art and cultural heritage, especially over other matters perceived as more pressing that also need money. It's just a guess from unknowledgeable me though.

I don’t really mind that as long as there are enough people in the house to eat it fast enough. However now, with it just being me and my husband, I’ll make a fairly large amount at one time and then portion it into single servings. Wrap it in plastic, shape it gently into flat square shapes, and stick it in the freezer. Tossing the single packs into the microwave to defrost when you need it is way more convenient, lasts longer, and gets less dried out than sticking it in the fridge in my experience.

>Which one of these would you consider to be permissable to eat, and which ones venture too close to pet territory
This is such a weird way to make an ethical judgement about which animals are ok to eat imo. Either all of them are or none of them are, it's not like cuteness functions as a moral compass. If dog meat tasted good, we'd have been raised eating it and people would find a way to ignore that they're pets.

I wouldn't eat anything that tasted bad or was unsafe (like monkey), so I wouldn't risk trying a lot of those meats based on those conditions. I'm not that interested in eating meat beyond the basics anyway.

It depends. If they're all that you have, you'll probably end up feeling very isolated if you cut them all off, which isn't good for your health either. Ashevillefag here. Asheville is dead. There is a lot of advertising that leads people to believe it's really nice here, but damn. It is a trap 100%. It once was awesome and full of character and artsy stuff, but it is no more. The cost of living is thru the roof now because all the yuppies from all over come here thinking they're gonna "find themselves." (Not saying you are like this at all, but that's the type of person you'll be dealing with on the daily if you come here). My rent was $400/mo a couple years ago and now it's $1200 for the SAME SHITHOLE APARTMENT. Most of my friends have had to move to the outskirts/neighboring crappy towns to find anywhere remotely affordable to live. The yups are chasing us out. There are no good jobs whatsoever unless you find you really enjoy working at a gaudy tourist trap restaurant for 2 bucks an hour – and even those jobs are hard to find now with the population literally exploding every day. Every restaurant and cool shop that was worth a damn is gone and it's just street after street of fancy boutiques selling $300 dresses and/or Jerry Garcia posters. There is nothing to do unless you like "bar crawling" from bougie craftbrewery to bougie craftbrewery until you puke. I hate it here and I used to love it. Tourists are killing this place, and killing my soul. Sorry for the rant. But fuck Asheville.

Stop thinking about it and move on. If you’re obsessing and it’s hard to quit cold turkey (which is normal if this is recent), limit your rumination. When you have those thoughts, tell yourself you can think about it for 10 minutes at 5pm (for example). Allow yourself to process your emotions but don’t let them take over your life. Write it out if that helps.

The worst thing you can do is publicly react. It’s difficult to understand the situation without specifics, but the most you should do is offer a neutral version of events to your friends. If you don’t want to do that, do nothing. Don’t give in to revenge fantasies or do anything that will make it look like she’s right about you. Short answers, leave them on read, if you don't want to talk to him, then just don't. In person, idk, try not to smile too much and just keep to yourself. Headphones in, neutral face, flat affect. Be boring and uninterested in them. Men like being the center of attention, especially with a woman, so if you don't give a shit/don't reply, then they'll find someone else. How can I help a good friend who's now long distance acknowledge/deal with the fact that they could be an alcoholic?

He brings up drinking in nearly every conversation we have. I asked if he thinks he drinks too much and he said he'probably overindulges but doesn't think he's dependent.

Maybe my view is colored because I don't drink really so it seems like a lot, but when we last hung out he had about 7 drinks in a setting that didn't facilitate drinking (except for lunch in, but otherwise we just walked and talked).

On one hand I dont want to drive him away, especially because I don't live near him and avoiding the issue is as simple as not replying to me, but damn, alcohol fucks your brain up and the withdrawals can kill you. I don't want that for him.

I would consider it a red flag. Porn already spoils men, OnlyFans is porn with more interaction and entitlement from the subscriber.

>he's the one paying for the thots, not performing

No offence but you obviously think very little of onlyfans to call the girl thots, so why let him off the hook? Being the one handing the money over doesn't give him the moral high ground. The only difference between only fans and him going out and paying a sex worker to touch herself in front of him is that there's a screen involved.

Should I try look for a new job?

My current one is technically in my field, but the jobs are SIMPLE, and the workload is super low. There are 6 people in my department but realistically 2-3 people could do the work without being stressed about it. I don't have impostor syndrome unlike whenever I had an internship. My coworkers complain about the workload if they spend any less than 5 hours a working day browsing on the laptop kek. I don't really feel too much toxicity from them and they're all respectful enough though I don't like them at all. I arrive and leave on time and everything is lef tbehind on the weekend and holidays. I'm being paid decently. Enough for monthly expenses, eating kind of fancy and I could afford a nice holiday with what's left over. I bought a switch last month and it barely made a dent. And that's the same wage as the other department in my place where it's incredibly toxic and people are frequently working overtime to get the workload done.

But it's my first job and I'm ambitious, I've got goals and this job isn't what I envisioned. The skills needed for this job would probably be barely enough to get another entry level job. But I feel like there are some real horror stories about work that scare me away from reaching for more.

No one would react in a positive way to this. If you're not his girlfriend or a family member, I don't think you should say anything about it.

One of two things could happen:
1. If it's actually a problem, he'll feel like shit and probably react in a negative way toward you and either hide it from you (probably not what you want) or be pushed away
2. If he doesn't see it as a problem, he will brush it off and if you try to bring it up more, be annoyed and then be pushed away.

Alcoholics don't really think they're alcoholics, and that's how they become alcoholics.

Also just because he brings it up every time doesn't necessarily mean he's an alcoholic. The seven drinks in one sitting, yeah definitely a sign. So if you're going to bring the topic up to him, don't say "You always talk about alcohol!" That's going to be an immediate rejected thought because it's not a strong enough argument imo.

Read more news or just read more in general? I don't really know what kind of matters you're talking about. I think it's fine to admit you don't know a lot about X issue, and it's also fine to have a neutral stance. But saying just "I don't know" or "I don't really care about it" might sound dismissive, so you can at least show interest and ask some questions about it. Assuming you do want to talk to people.

Never been in any serious relationship (as in moved past awkward date/talking) with a dude, and lately I’ve realized I’m just downright sexually more attracted to females. I’ve never been with women before but I had this really close friendship with a really nice girl that, looking back, was kind of an emotional relationship, even if only one-sided for me since she’s straight.
II had crushes on/masturbate to male characters before in media but sexually imagining them often as female, just never seen a good female character I’ve liked. Irl it’s different, have “liked” girls before but not really realized it.
The males I’ve tried to date, I couldn’t imagine actually being with them and am kind of disgusted by the idea of sex with them.
It’s more they fit into the lifestyle I aim for, since my family would def disapprove of a girlfriend and I want to be in relationship (i’m very close to family but not feasible to ever tell them about a girlfriend if I have one). Sorry for incoherent ramble

I don't know whether to ask this in the fitness or fashion thread so I'll compromise and ask here.
Is pic related body shape considered fat nowadays? How would I dress to flatter it?

Obviously I'm not a Greek goddess made out of marble but I've never had weight issues or thought there was anything wrong with my body (it's fine, I don't mind it) until my bf told me I "don't have the flattest of tummies" and should try to lose weight because I'm chubby. I'm shaped more or less exactly like pic related, slightly cinched waist with smallish boobs and a bigger bum, bottom-heavy with a bit of a belly.

I'm at a normal weight, swim regularly, don't eat all that much, both my mother and I have the same body shape with the same abdomen and always have.
I disagree with him on being chubby, but I do think that maybe the way I dress makes me look fatter than I am because of how I'm shaped, so what style would fit this body shape? Obviously I can adapt it to suit my taste, but having a certain look/aesthetic in mind first would make it easier to visualize.

No. 706876

I feel like I'm kind of shaped like picrel as well and I want to say I don't think you're fat. At least not by modern standards of fat, where in the west there's a lot of women who are far fatter than that. My body dysmorphia makes me think I'm fat, however for not having a flatty stomach. We're constantly exposed to anachans and photoshopping so it definitely makes you feel fatter, and everyone's perception is affected by this type of exposure as well, hence your bf's reaction

Is it tmi if I ask you for your height and weight anon? I'm about 5'7" and 125-130 lbs, don't know if you have a similar height to weight ratio. I would say I'm kind of pear, smaller boobs but bigger butt and thighs

How do you emotionally detach from someone?(!)

The usual answer is to keep yourself busy, do hobbies you enjoy, etc, so you have less time to think about them but, FUCK, it seems easier said than done. I'm trying really hard anons, I can't do anything I enjoy without getting distracted by the thought of them. My chest aches, I just feel all around horrible. I just wanna cry and sleep and scream.

No. 706904

Try convincing yourself why you want to detach. Make a Pros and Cons list. You can also rewrite experiences with them by doing other things with different friends that you used to do with the friend you're moving on from. In relation to anon's earlier post itt, with the photo of the sculpture.
I also relate to that body shape, not exactly but many times I see women in old sculptures and paintings, I feel represented body-wise. But I feel like this body type is no longer represented today, so I also felt unsure like anon did. Is it because back then they didn't have photoshop and plastic surgery? Or simply that today a different body shape is preferred? Granted I don't see a lot of naked women but when it's pictures they are always photoshopped or barbie-like with big breasts. No insult to women with that beautiful body type (as much as it's real) but why did it change? Even seeing old photos of women (the earliest nudes) they look so much more human and natural in ways beyond what I'm mentioning. Sorry if I sound crazy or rude to others I just feel that something's changed. It made me think something's wrong with me until I saw old artworks/photos but now I feel confused

No. 706942

>>706937
You're totally right, I feel the same way. It sounds like bragging to say your body looks like a greek statue but their bodies would be considered flabby and flat these days.

The most obvious reason for the change is mass media imo, back in the day your perspective on beauty was limited to the women around you, few of whom you would actually see naked. With photography and film, exposure increases and so do standards. And men are highly inclined towards supernormal stimuli, they just want more and more extreme exaggeration.

I also think health and fitness is much better understood and more important now, being soft and average will never beat fit and toned when we know how much healthier the latter is.

We have pretty much the same body, anon! Everyone already covered how much your bf is shit, so here're some clothing tips that I hope are vague enough and are remotely helpful to make you look normal and not fatter than you are.

I like to emphasize the line from shoulder to shoulder. I can do this with turtlenecks (avoid those that fold or wrinkle at the neck since they can look bulky), boat necklines, or even strapped dresses over your top.

We don't have flat tummies, so I try to wear things that emphasis the hourglass, ie the sides of your waist instead of depth. The color black, structured skirts, etc.

I like to show off leg-shape, either with high-waisted leggings or dresses that are cut or ride up mid-thigh. The logic is that we see your legs as proof that you aren't a fatty. For shoes: Boots, heels, etc, to lengthen your legs.

> Is it because back then they didn't have photoshop and plastic surgery?
They didn’t, but these sculptures are not necessarily true to life. A sculptor likely would’ve incorporated the beauty standards of the time to present the woman depicted (whether real or mythical) in a desirable way - regardless of whether she actually looked like that. The majority of Greek statues look like this but it’s unlikely all the women had this body shape. It was less of a risky business back then too as candids hardly would’ve been leaked, kek.

> but why did it change?

I feel like there’s a lot of reasons for that but general rule of history:
> toned or muscular women = labourers, poor, not desirable
> skinny women = poor, can’t afford to eat enough, not ripe for bearing children, possibly diseased, undesirable

Of course there’s exceptions to this and it’s very eurocentric, but that’s tl;dr

Cultural shifts have occurred as >>706942 pointed out
> health and fitness is much better understood and more important now,
Fitness culture really took off in the past century, originally for physical benefits but it’s also worth noting that women began wearing appropriate fitness attire during this era which showed off their bodies thus the results of their exercise. In the centuries prior to this, women would be so covered up that their bodies wouldn’t matter much as long as they were within a certain weight range. Any unsightly distribution could be fixed with undergarments and flattering cuts. (Kinda off topic but kinda relevant because there was a long period of time where women’s bodies were covered up so the standards were more related to what could be achieved with clothes, for example bustles)

Also having higher body fat is no longer associated with wealth as even impoverished people can achieve that these days. Thinness is more associated with being financially comfortable as you can afford to buy highly nutritious, calorie-sparse food and not have to rely on body fat reserves. Think about how fancy restaurants serve tiny portion sizes yet charge stupid money.

Sorry to sperg just find this really interesting! Pic rel: fun fact, Greek statues were usually painted and not plain white.

I went on a date with a guy who had an insane speech disorder, while he said it was a very light case. I left after 30 minutes of him struggling to hold a conversation while everyone was staring at us, and he blocked me before I could even apologize on my way home. What aspect of job applications are you struggling with most? For me it's pushing myself to actually send out my resume and writing a motivation letter. I keep putting it off.
Consciously setting a time where you have to work on job applications and nothing else can help. Set a specific goal of how many applications you want to send out every week. Then set an alarm for a certain hour every other day or so, in which you're not allowed to do anything but look for jobs and send applications. It still takes discipline and willpower, you can't really get around that, but giving yourself some structure and removing distractions during that time will make it easier.

Anons who regularly work out, what motivates you to stick to your routine? I always struggle with sticking to things long term, I either go whole hog and burn out soon after doing 6x a week for a while, or I’m too lenient (“just every other day/twice a week/once a week!”) and motivation drops off from that too.

The weird thing is that work is almost never as bad as I expect it to be? Make it convenient and something you'd like to do. I find myself hesitant to work out if I think of it as a chore I have to do every day. My personal suggestion is picking up Ballet, Gymnastics or damn, even bodybuilding or weightlifting. You'll pick it up, get into it, and then BAM it's not a chore it's now a hobby. Some people also choose to take it the therapeutic route, when you're working out you forget everything else and nobrain it. Not for me personally, but some people really do treat working out as therapy rather than an exercise.

The first robot was as awkward as the second one, being the first one ugly as fuck, like I’m no super model, nor conventionally attractive, but he was really, really ugly, like I swear he had some sort of disability.
He was actually pretty nice and wasn’t overly sexual and such, he was just extremely awkward and tbh, him being ugly made things even more awkward.
The second robot was pretty cute, awkward, too much into the tradthot waifu meme, he would ask if I wanted to live in some sort of 1950’s fantasy and I was starting to get over that retarded pickme sentiment so I was like hah no.
They were never rude to me or anything, so that was a plus, i guess. The second one did try pushing the whole you should be my trad waifu thing, but since I’m shit at replying messages it took me weeks to find his las message to me I kind of ghosted him or something like that.

You are giving animals too little credit. Of course they know things, they have a brain and they learn, just like us, we are animals too. They know food is tasty from the smell and what to do when hungry for the same reason we do too, because it's an instinct necessary to survive for all animals, how would they survive if they didn't know when to eat? Anons, is it true that men move on after long-term relationships faster than women?

No. 708239

>>708209
Oh just cause of instincts I guess. Keep in mind we're also just extremely evolved animals, and we know what our body means just from instinct. There's a reason why people say stuff like "trust your gut", stuff like that is just innate.

As for food, the food that animals eat also has a smell, and we eat the same stuff with some seasoning on it so it's not surprising they want to eat human food. Also animals have better smell than us so maybe our food smells a little tastier to them, and also because they see us eating it, so they want to see what the hype is about. That's why pets love to stare at people eating. Obviously some animals cant tell what food is actually good for them all the time, they just know it's food (coughcough dogs), and some don't know what is actually food and what's an object

Like the other anon said, animals aren't stupid! A lot of them evolved to do crazy shit simply to survive, so it's not surprising they know when to eat and what food is food.

I know it was dumb to file a dispute with aliexpress because it was a post office thing, but I just want the thing I bought!!! The seller obviously didn't do anything with the dispute, and now aliexpress says "If you do not receive your parcel, please go to post office to get the official document. We only accept the case with evidence/official document from the post office." but if I head over to my local post office, do anons think they'll do anything? They do! They do be competin'! Being woman when rag on more physically attractive friends to boost own popularity. Also when more conventionally attractive woman no get job because makeup.

In all seriousness though, to answer your question >>708648 , I've definitely heard of women picking up on when their friends start shitting on them around men to impress them. The way that discovery is written really frames it like "less attractive" women have a vendetta against physically attractive women and try to cope in whatever way possible to reduce any cognitive dissonance. I don't fully buy into that though. Because what about female groups who consist of only physically attractive people? Is that suggesting that each woman believes her friends aren't more attractive than herself? Seems unlikely, imo.

> The way that discovery is written really frames it like "less attractive" women have a vendetta against physically attractive women
I was thinking about this because I'm asexual so I don't feel competition in regards to men but considering that men are morely likely to promote attractive women regardless of their skills and effort, I could find myself having negative emotions against attractive women if I was convinced or had experience that they impeded my career.
And it's not as if we have calculated thoughts about this meaning we usually have some motivated reasoning to justify our feelings and bias.
> Because what about female groups who consist of only physically attractive people?
I honestly don't know. The finding seems to suggest exactly what you've mentioned about each woman believing herself to be more attractive than the other.

No. 708666

>>708663
And to add, I don't think that "less attractive" women are petty if they're less favourable to "more attractive" women. If the society treats attractive people better, particularly women who are judged more based on their looks, it's only natural to feel some sort of resentment. When life isn't fair, it's a normal response, I think. Although talking shit, spreading false rumours about someone is terrible no matter who does it for whatever reasons.
On the other hand, a more attractive woman could feel the same resentment for not being taken seriously.
All in all, it's depresssing that looks are so detrimental when you're a woman even if you're not interested in men. The competition between men is a lot different and I envy them for that.

I do think attractive women (especially young looking) are often taking less seriously in hiring. There is also the factor of who is doing the hiring. If it’s some fat old boomer lady, and she’s interviewing two women with similar resumes and one is kind of fat and homely while the other pretty and thin, I do think the homely one is more likely to get the job, unless the pretty thin one really goes an above and beyond and gives off the impression she’s a kiss-ass or finds some way to personally relate to the hiring manager.

I feel the same way sometimes. What’s the difference between praying and manifesting?

No. 709455

How are the american anons doing lol what a shit show

No. 709457

>>709452
I'm not religious, but as someone who got into LOA/manifestation sometime last year, I think there are some similarities, but I think the main difference is people who manifest believe they already have what they want. That's why you hear people say stuff like "Ask for it and it's already yours" "It's already yours, you control your life, it's on its way, just wait for it", whereas people you pray are asking God, an outside source, to fix whatever issues they are having. They believe that if it's not what God wants to happen, it won't happen. Manifesters also believe in not stressing over what you want (aka keep asking for it), which I think is the opposite of what people who pray do.

No. 709458

>>709452
Praying is basically asking for something to something stronger than you, usually some sort of deity.
Manifesting is saying something that you want to happen, or appear, instead of hoping for it to happen, you declare that it’s going to happen.

You can do henna (which is literally like coloring your hair with pigment only), it's non-damaging. You gotta be careful of certain brands that use non-organic materials which will fuck with your hair though.
Some say it strengthens the hair shaft from the deposited pigment. But most henna bleeds even after several washes, and is super annoying to apply.
Also NEVER put indigo in your hair unless you know for a fact that you want dark shit hair for the next several years. Indigo doesn't really lift out even with bleach. Check the henna ingredients for indigo because I swear even if there's a small amount it's gonna make your hair dark and you won't ever be able to lighten that shit without destroying your hair.

I think it’s mostly because in order to learn how to do different things, you new to draw other stuff than the same character. You won’t be able to find out about the different types of color palettes and shapes that can make your art improve or evolve if you don’t get out of your comfort zone.
But that’s mostly if you want to draw professionally, if you don’t want to make a profit off it, then don’t overthink drawing the same stuff over and over again, draw whatever makes you happy.

Is there a problem with dating someone uglier than you? Can ugliness compensate for an awful personality?

Most girls I meet think my current bf is uglier than my exes and much uglier than me. The thing is, to me, he's literally a god. I love how he looks. I'd describe him as the handsomest creature on earth. His facial shape, eyes, and build resemble that of a 2D husbando. Why do people have such visceral examples? It makes me feel stupid for thinking he's so gorgeous, but I can't help it.

The other dumb confession I have is that I can tell I'm more attractive than his exes by a significant amount.

However. I have BPD. He's seen me at my worst. I've improved massively over the past year - i take a cocktail of medications and it's part of my routine to engage in DBT. I no longer act triggered over things and I've improved in my distress tolerance and even in my quality of life. Is my fear about my teeth and going to the dentist justifiable? I haven't been to a dentist in around 2+ years since I became an adult and it stopped being free. I've developed a teeth grinding habit and on top of that I realised I have at least four cavities in my back molars. The two bottom molars have large grey cracks and the top ones have small white and brown discoloration and are starting to cause some discomfort. They've been there at least a couple months or even a year because I thought they were just cracks or stains. I'm terrified that they're too far gone now and that they'll have to be pulled. I'm not even signed up to a dentists so I need to wait until monday and hope they can fit me in knowing they probably have a backlog of people waiting. Tell the new doctor that you are an anxiety patient and they will tell you what needs to be done and they will tell you what to expect, so won't get into a situation that will unexpected horror (as I experienced it in the past which was really traumatizing lol). I know someone that started taking hardcore pain medication for her teeth because she was afraid of the dentist, then buying them from drug dealers when the doctor wouldn't describe them anymore and developed a serious addiction that ruined her life.

Just get it fixed before it gets worse.

Does anyone know Blender well? I made a simulation of a falling coin so I can check how it depends on the initial parameters, and it works well, but how accurate is Blender rigid body physics? How do I know it's really working well and not using some simplified equations? Is there somewhere I can check that?
Also I found out that if you have a coin hitting a bouncy surface, if you change the angle it hits the ground even just 0.01° the outcome of the toss will change.

Do you guys think it's cringe to be "inspired" by your friends? When I was a teenager, I saw my friend's room was decorated in a certain way so I partially did the same thing in my room since I felt it was empty so to speak. I never copied her in any other way that I'm aware of, but I may have made her uncomfortable. Idk maybe she doesn't even remember it since she slept in my room one (1) time.

It’s not a bad thing, I mean, you will always be influenced by others since there’s no such a thing as raw or pure originality. As long as you don’t do stuff just so you can feel like you’re wearing their skin as a suit, It’s shouldn’t be “cringe” specially because most of the times you will add stuff that suits you better.
If she never said anything about it, nor give you any sort of hints and such, then I don’t think she even noticed.

Just go in for a consultation, believe me, whatever you have, the dentist have seen so much worse. I've just had a widsom tooth removel that lasted almost an hour because of complications and then spent almost 2 weeks on pain medication because of bone inflammation, and it was still worth it, because I don't have to think about that tooth anymore. And your teeth might even be saved still.

When you're getting a tattoo done, do you have to be super descriptive with what you want? I know this is a super retarded question but, if I just say like, "realistic bee" or "panda eating bamboo in this style" would that be enough? I know tattoo artists like having more creative freedom, but I just don't know what would be a good amount of detail.

Is it common for gay folk to become inseparable from their partners once they find one? I've noticed this happening with multiple male gay friends were the couple becomes a 2-for-1 deal. They hardly have any individual activities or hobbies and always drag their partner along to social gatherings. I've seen it with female cishet friends as well but proportionately it seems to occcur the most with queer associates…???

But I also had another friend who got a girlfriend for years and was head over heels for her.

It's harder to find a long lasting same sex relationship so that's where the uhaul memes and being friends with your ex memes come from. Gay guys tend to be able to casually hook up and stay friends. If you're a lesbian or bi, have a solid relationship with a pretty woman and get guaranteed orgasms everytime you have sex why wouldn't you stay attached?
The biggest factor is that the dating pool for LGB is much smaller than the dating pool straights have. It's a tight knit community at least where I'm from.

It’s mostly many packs of looseleaf paper, and a few gently used notebooks (not composition kind tho, but also understand if they wouldn’t want the notebooks). You don't have to be. Every artist is different with how they work but I think it's common for a client to give a broad description like the examples you gave and the artist will make a drawing based on that. I do think they would want to have some sort of direction with regards to the art style, but that could be as simple as just saying you want it in their style or a style they have in their portfolio. Keep in mind it might be more expensive to have them make a drawing because they have to spend time doing that and possibly including your revisions.

Do they make earplugs that are designed to just make noise more quiet instead of blocking it completely? Sorta like an e-wallet third party that handle your transaction on behalf of the seller.
So instead of handbagshop.com getting your payment directly, you pay via paypal and they handle the credit card information/transaction and then the seller gets paid into their paypal account.
The seller can withdraw the money into a real bank account or use their paypal funds. Keeping a large sum in your paypal account (if you're a seller) is a mistake since sometimes paypal lock your account for spurious reasons, but it's generally fine for normal low cost transactions for items.

The main benefit is security, the seller never get your payment info.
