I don't know if the people complaining about Venus' teeth have actually lived in Japan for an extended time, but I can tell you that tea, coffee, soy sauce and vinegar in traditonal dishes DOES cause a lot of the stain here. I've heard other foreigners notice their teeth have become more yellow in Japan after a while, even with regular brushing.
