I think reading articles about what you want to portray could help. I'm no writer but I take inspiration from things I've gone through and felt and try to find what kind of mental illness would have symptoms that are an exaggeration of it or a result of it and use that. Reading works with the specific themes you want to add, that you like and think portray it well, could also help.

50/50. From stories they told me, I was a very active child. I once walked outside of our summer house in our village and climbed a mountain and went into some rando's house at 3 or 4 yo, and my grandma had to go there and pick me up from there. They also said I played violently with other kids beating the shit out of them and saying mean shit to them made fun of a cousin for being darker than me, and there was a time where I dragged another relative kid by the hair down the stairs for touching my dolls. And once I fell on my head too hard I went unconscious and they had to take me to the ER. This was all my first 5 years of existence alone. Once I got into kindergarten onwards I mellowed out and became too scardy and anxious and was afraid of all the kids at class because oh no big number of people and mom isn't there. I was afraid of going down the stairs with the rest of the class because they'd go down too quickly for me to catch up and I was afraid of falling so I'd just sit down and cry in the middle of the stairs because how dare they walk faster than me? I also once walked behind a girl swinging on purpose to reach the other swing and got hit by the metal corner of the swing on my eyelid and got a scar there, it's gone now but I caused a big scene back then they called my parents to come and pick me up. I used to get sick a lot during elementary school that they make me sleep in the living room to watch over me, sleep by my side, and I'd wake up in the middle of the night and throw up all over the sofas and carpets. Same thing whenever we had car road trips traveling around, I'd get car sick and throw up every single time without fail. I compensated by being very good at school and getting great grades and tons of awards. Got to participate in some math competitions and nominated on the level of the city, got in the top 10 and got awarded by the mayor of the city and was on the news. Now I'm a software engineer and graduated with honors. I'm still sickly, just different genres of illness that are more adult if you will, lol. I was also help around the house with chores and stuff. This question brought back memories, lol.

Would you choose adoption, or would you have kids the "natural" way? If you really wanted to have a girl but discovered that you're having a boy, would you abort it and try again? WHAT exactly did Zegler did that made her getting dogpilled by everyone on the interent???

I paused my YouTube search history (for privacy reasons) so I have no personal recommendations—but no matter what, the "videos like this" section will have a video about how "RACHEL ZEGLER IS PISSED/ANGRY/TRIGGERED" with a thumbnail (possibly AI, who knows) of her being angery or whatever, even if the video I was watching has nothing to do with Snow White or Disney.

All I'm aware of the controvery around her is people being mad that she's too brown for playing a character supposed to have skin as white as snow (boring, whatever). The other controversies have nothing to do with her (removal of the prince, ugly CG dwarves that could've been played by actual Little People).

Is this just the Brie Larson/Daisy Ridley situation all over again? I get kind of angry seeing the thumbnails of these videos because I don't think she deserves getting this flak for whatever it is she did. I'm pretty sure not even Halle Bailey didn't get this much flak for playing a Black Ariel.

These types of videos are always 100% uploaded by moids. Why would they care for Disney shit anyway? Snow White as a character isn't really that "precious" to boys and men, compared to say, Star Wars characters—which is something they sperg about nonstop.

What exactly did she do?

You have the chance to go back in time and fix a major mistake, or save yourself from a major trauma, BUT you might lose the people closest to you in this alternate timeline you create. Either you never met them or through the butterfly effect, they’re dead or not in your life anymore.

Would you do it?

I’m not sure. My gut says yes because this would stop me from committing a major act of indecency and would instead bring me closer to the person I am closest with, but I also fear if we’d been together during that time instead of apart if that would somehow influence our relationship and result in us not being together in the end (the present)

Hm, I guess it truly depends. Any small thing you change will make you loose someone currently in your life, or change it. I would probably tell my mom I was being molested/raped. At any time, even after it stopped at least tell her when I was still a child. It started at 6 or 5, stopped at 8-9. Get the help I needed earlier on because now, I still haven’t told her and it still feels like a burden that I carry constantly. It’s like a dark cloud that constantly fuck up my life but it’s truly too late now. I’m 26, she’s a raging narc. But it would have stopped a lot of the other things I let fuck me up, like using drugs at 14 and fucking old men purposefully as a child. Side note, my molester was my “step brother”, the son of some guy my mom moved us in with, he had money, she was dirt poor. I look him up sometimes and he had a wife and kid. I messaged his wife one time and told her he molested me kek. And gave super personal details to validate the account. No clue what became of it, I blocked her and don’t have social media anymore. Feels good to talk about sorry anons.

There are too many things I fucked up because I listened to horrible advice of all the adults around me who were either uninformed, stupid or had ulterior motives. If I knew everything that happened to me would happen I'd just follow my original plan and study what I did as soon as I graduated from high school instead of being recommended to go study law and waste a year. I would have had way better teachers if I did that before they retired and were replaced by idiots, a way better schedule so no classes almost every Saturday so that means I would have been able to find a job earlier and save more money to go on an exchange program in another country and have a way better resume. This way covid wouldn't have had such a disastrous impact on my career. On top of that I would have done everything necessary at my bank to get a loan and go on that exchange program instead of being convinced by my parents who never went to high school and were poorfags until recently that bank loans are all some of the most dangerous things ever. The downside is that I wouldn't have met my current friends, but that's a small price to pay because long term when I think about it they fucked me over in too many way these past few years. Maybe I would have met then in university anyway, just in different circumstances.

It's probably a mix of the right level of honesty, being easy-going and willing to help, and a sense of humor I'm not afraid to express. Also not afraid to approach others and being true to myself - I will always stand up for my sense of taste, for example.

I'm not quite sure, because I'm ugly and think I shouldn't be liked or approachable. Yet, the way I dress very fashionably and elaborately, the way I carry myself, the way I talk, my volunteering to help others when I could, my knowledge and even the way I type and format messages makes people fascinated by me and curious about me and want to approach me, talk to me, befriend me, praise me for coming off as a genius even though I think I'm absolutely retarded, and gets me instant replies online or people DMing me. I remember this girl at university who really liked greeting me and asking me how I'm doing even though I didn't know her name or why did she want to, she'd DM me after finding my number in the class group chat and try to talk to me about normal stuff, I didn't turn her off or anything but didn't get close either. And apparently my friends knew she liked me (not in a romantic way idk) and told me she was worried about me at some point because I missed an important exam. I legitimately never interacted with her in any meaningful way so I don't get what was going on there. Not the first time something like this happened either, I've had people fighting over my attention before and people stopping by and saying hi to me all the time. Even lecturers and professors (all women) would praise me and always say hi and good morning to me and wish me the best opportunities possible or approach me to help them in projects and stuff they're working on because they think I'm the best candidate and have what it takes. I don't mind though, it feels good lmao. I also manage to get free art offers from online artists all the time I even have a folder filled with these. I got 60+ rare demo and unreleased songs from the producer and owner of a record label by simply asking for it via email and a phone call. But he was schizo and I do have a bad habit of attracting some schizos and autists sometimes. But my best friends in life are all cool great people who approached me out of curiosity about me and finding me cool so I'm glad that worked out in my favor. I'm genuinely authentically myself irl to an extent, I know what to show to the world and what to hide to come off as normal ofcourse. I once befriended some Russian tech company CEO but I decided to not proceed with it any further because it probably wouldn't have landed me a job so it was pointless. In hindsight maybe it would've been a great connection to make in the industry but oh well.

If I have to be honest, it kind of does. I experienced a situation that is similar to yours but where I held the opposite role and accidentally made my (now ex-)best friend upset too many times due to my own ignorance about my level of privilege. I think a friendship between people of different classes can work but it takes a lot of self-awareness on the more affluent party's end and it sounds like your best friend is lacking that. My current best friend is someone who comes from a richer family than mine and it makes me feel less bad about my own admittedly undeserved privilege since I can feel comfortable talking about certain topics with her that I know a lot of people cannot relate to.

Not exactly what you asked but I can't stand people who think names are "the same" when they're from different cultures and the correct pronunciation for them are different. A French David (duh-vid) is not the same name as an English David (day-vid). Just like Timmy and Tommy aren't the same name either, it's really not that hard to grasp!

And similarly people who think the same name with a different spelling isn't the same. Jon and John have the same name. Hailee and Heyleigh are the same too. It's the pronunciation that is the true word/name, how we spell it is just an attempt of capturing a word on paper.

I blocked him on my accounts and don't reply to his emails but he will still sometimes send me things in the mail like birthday cards or Christmas gifts or pages from his journal (Where he writes about me….) I don't really feel scared of him because he lives far away, never made any kind of threat, but I don't like him knowing where I live (He has my address because we traded collectible items in the past.)
Anyway, the next time he sends me something, can I write "Addressee not at this address, return to sender" and give it back to the post office? Do you think that will fool him into thinking I moved?

Who is a female character you're convinced would never have kids or settle for a moid despite how sexualized they are by scrotes? Off the top of my head is Samus Aran. First of all, isn't her DNA pretty spliced from different alien DNA in order to survive foreign planets and situations? Samus' entire DNA makeup is so unique to herself, would she even have enough genetic compatibility with anyone at this point? Plus, she just doesn't strike be as the type to be interested in any relationships, even if the games cares to make it clear she was into guys. Saving the galaxy multiple times, carrying on Chozo culture through her powersuit, and being the greatest bounty hunter to ever live is her legacy. Not shitting out some brat or settling for a scrote whose entire existence she would mog.

Lara Croft. So dedicated to exploring and discovering mysteries and any love interest she's had along the way has always just paled in comparison to how great she is. Hard-headed, motivated, smart and strong. I think her character was designed to be scrote bait at first but it's ironic how she's turned into so much more and attracted a lot of female fans. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up as a massive Tomb Raiderfag but I think she's just neat. Even as a kid I'd roll my eyes and cringe at the male characters trying to flirt with her because we all knew Lara was better on her own and had a mission to do, kek.

I think it's a cultural thing. Some cultures have the cheek kissing thing for both genders as a form of greeting and no one thinks it's weird or sexual at all. Kissing isn't the same as making out. Where I live, kissing is very normal for everyone. When I see my male family members, they usually greet me with a kiss on the cheek, same with my good male friends or the boyfriends of my friends. Idk why in some cultures they think kissing is like some kind of intense sexual thing. It's literally just putting your lips up to someone and making a little sound. How is that sexual?

Do I confront my husband on this?

I had a stalker ex, he was stalking me for 3+ years after we broke up. We all swam in the same circles online, which I didn't realise.
Found a girls discord server, made friends with a few girls there.
Turns out one girl knew my ex, was using an alt to talk to be my friend and gather dozing info on me, gave my location etc to my ex which. She knew about the things he did to me, she was laughing with my ex on her main account about how scared of him I was.
When I found out I was telling my husband her main user name and cried about how I thought she was a genuine friend but she was doing this the whole time.

Anyway turns out my husband had an online sexual relationship with her, I found this out by snooping. They stopped talking 4ish months before him and I got together.

He either knew her usernsme and kept quiet or had forgotten her username.
I had no idea they knew eachother.

60’s/70’s moids were obsessed with the idea that anything less than total fully-exercised freedom was the same thing as abject oppression. women were blamed for ruining society by encouraging men to be safe and productive, thereby preventing them from doing the things (sex with teenagers, drinking all day, chimpouts etc) that actually made them happy. nurse ratched is supposed to represent the injustice of your mom telling you to take a shower and stop punching holes in the drywall, which is why one flew over the cuckoo’s nest is still beloved by moids today.

I can act normal in real life but my humor is too rotted to find enjoyment and mirth from mainstream sources. It’s been weird seeing teenagers try to emulate and idolize the early internet culture that I not only grew up with but was bullied for participating in. Anyways, I suppose a more concise explanation is: I’m culturally isolated from people my age in a liberal, big city in burgerstan.

I found out about this place through a YouTube video about the horror cow who'd destroy her own legs despite being a ballet dancer, and would self-harm and lose blood and pretend it's a mysterious rare illness. I forget her name, Kelly or something? The video creator was stupid enough to announce she got the info amd evidence off lolcow and said don't go there!!! It's an awful website!!! So naturally, I had to check it out for more horror cows. I used to be ADDICTED to reading cow threads for hours on a daily basis despite having tons of things to do, I just couldn't look away, I was in awe of all the cows' antics and of the nonna's investigative capabilities. I read threads about cows I've never heard of before even because I never had Tumblr, deleted my Instagram, Twitter and other social media accounts ages ago, and never been deep into weeb stuff and cosplay or western fandoms in general, so I never came across the cows before, but I still enjoy learning about them. I started exploring the rest of the website outside of /snow/ and /pt/ and I really enjoyed the vibes of /m/, /ot/ and /g/ and felt like I found a good middle ground between having an online community to discuss interests and being on social media, the anonymity makes so much better. So I stayed ever since and never left, and I doubt I'd leave because I have everything I need here. I heard of 4chan, 8chan, 2chan, and Kiwifarms before lolcow but was too cowardly to ever visit them, lol. As I've never been on any forums or message boards of any kinds before and was always scared of them in the sense that crazy people frequent them and weird things are bound to happen. Lolcow is my first website experience ever and it helped me ease into this and be less scared of it. Although when I posted my first post ever, I was literally shaking and my heart was racing, lol. On a side note, lolcow really helped me in getting more serious and connected to fandom stuff I enjoy and to my husbando, so I'm grateful for that.

Instead of getting into an armchair psychology wall text, I'll cut to the chase. It's oftentimes jealousy. Even though they gave birth to her, they still live in a society that pits older women against younger women for being "fresh", "prettier", "at their fertile peak" and more naive or even childlike (which appeals to manipulative or pedoscrotes). So they get jealous of the very being they created and raised because their insecurity keeps flaring up at the fact that society deems the daughter as more important.

Middle-aged scrotes have implied I'm jealous of my daughter for protecting her from being exposed to losers like them, so I'd have to see that happen and not just projecting males saying it's true I guess. So far, I've only seen moids jealous of their sons bc they're sexual competition when making waitresses and other young women who are forced to communicate with them uncomfortable and the older male will notice she enjoys talking to his son but doesn't seem to appreciate when he tries flirting with her

what is this phenomenon where liberal women (usually educated) think the coombrained ramblings of pornsick males are deep and insightful?

I think it's most prevalent with media like Euphoria and White Lotus. Like, I think these guys really are making content based on latent and blatant porn delusions and they themselves know that, but there's this subset of women who overthink these things and make it deeper than it really is. The Idol was another one, but just so badly written even these types saw through it.

White Lotus especially. I can't believe these types think that white man saying he's an Asian girl inside was a "win" for trans people. The writer was touching upon AGP and imo was trying to

White lotus's script was really lacking. I was surprised everyone liked it. The only good thing is some of the cast members, it baffles me that people actually like the things these characters are saying. I know they're supposed to be the stereotype of unlikable rich people but the coomerism and fake deep script make it way less funny "satire" than it's supposed to be. The creator is also clearly a coomer just less so than levinson with euphoria by adding pointless sex and nudity

>I don't know a single woman who's jealous of her daughter
Good for you.
>it makes more sense to be jealous of the youngest because of the age gap
If you're old enough to be someone's mother and highly insecure about aging, that's enough of a reason to be jealous of any child full stop.
>>2519117
>men accused me of being jealous of my daughters so I have to personally see this for me to believe it
I didn't know we have to personally see something happen in front of our very eyes in order to believe someone's experiences. I guess the aurora borealis doesn't exist because I personally never saw one.
>>2519123
I think what's interesting is that multiple of you failed to even fully grasp what I'm actually saying. I'm pointing out that a common reason for abusive mothers to act in such an abusive way to their oldest daughters is due to jealousy. If you're a mom or an older figure and you're just trying to protect the younger generation, good for you–but that's not what I was even talking about to begin with. Scrotes pulling the "you're just jealous" card at any interaction between an older and a younger woman doesn't mean the jealousy never happens at all.

I think that would more naturally lead to women in positions of power while men would be seen as less important, like grunt workers. They would probably be like SJWs about how they’re being mistreated by women. Then in modern day there would either be laws limiting how much women can abuse their power, or the law would cater to this ability since it’d be too difficult to control, and women would just be the leaders of society. I can imagine cases that would cause people to cry out about the cruelty and power abuse of women against their male lackeys popping up more often in the media. Too bad we don’t live in this reality.

Altering clothing has always been a thing within subcultures and every time period. That's a part of how fashion works, even the more fashionable types do things with articles of clothing to create a new and unique silhouette. Goths are known to use tights as tops, the 2000s would roll down shorts, in the 2010s people would cuff jeans, even if these are less extreme examples it's still how people altered fashion to make things more unique for them. I'm pretty sure all of the things you've listed out have been tips seen within magazines too. Also gen z is comprised of teenagers, so yes, they are poor.

Everyone knows about the stereotype about an overly homophobic man being actually gay, and there are genuine real life examples of these from Ted Haggard to George Rekers and a lot, lot, more.

But does the reverse–overly feminine openly lesbophobic woman being gay (or bi)–exist? Like calling any woman with short hair a dyke only to be having an affair with one behind he husband's back or something.

Has there ever been real-life (scandalous) examples of the latter?

The real concern here is he's probably trying to excuse an "acceptable" amount of control by picking an extreme example to say it isn't so bad.
It's unlikely you'll sway him but if he's terminally online enough, tradwife evangelical content comes to mind. Socially forced modest dress, shaming, only going out with other females or with your husband/bf, male-led spaces ONLY are all common even in the richest areas of like, Dallas Texas. Being a middle eastern country doesn't make the basic premise of control any different. The DoE rules changing also punishes women for wanting maternity leave, so it's not like westerners and American citizens are free entirely from institutional pressure. If he's already taking extreme examples, I doubt much will change his mind but it depends how he started making that comparison.

I used to really like fire signs, (I can still appreciate Leo and Aries women) but as I’ve grown up I tend to keep my distance from them because they are too much for me. As for women. It seems like I clash most often with Sag women irl (sorry nonna). The bluntness and disregard for others feelings while still generally being really sensitive themselves bothers the shit out of me. Like Aquas can act very similar with the bluntness but they’re generally better at not doing it in a way that seems so careless of the vibe, and also aquas can actually take criticism back and don’t act like you’re evil if you criticize them bluntly kek.

Or preferring "peace" and "forgiveness" and lack of conflict in all situations; not in a normal diplomacy way, but events where conflict is needed and forgiveness is not going to help, like telling a victim they're evil for cutting contact/calling the cops instead of grovelling at their abuser's feet and apologising for feeling hurt so everything can be all flowers and rainbows again.
The biggest sinners of sloth are not sleepy bed dwellers, they're usually accomplished people like world leaders who see problems everywhere but never act to do anything about them.
I think boomers were greed, gen x idk, millennials were pride and maybe gluttony? Gen Alpha and younger zoomers are definitely sloth. I'd say them whining and screeching about how bad things are but also never actually taking action is sloth too.

>You still have your features from birth, they just get bigger
I disagree. It’s why some people go from super cute kids to disgusting looking adults. If they had all their features they’d probably still be at least a little nice-looking.
Plus puberty plays a huge role. Two opposite-sex twins or close-age siblings could have pretty similar features before like 12 but then they obviously start to look more dimorphic. Pretty much proves appearance has other varies affecting it other than just “getting bigger”
I have a vastly different nose shape, eye shape and lip shape from when I was younger. The only thing remotely similar is the face shape which still looks different because cheekbones and different facial fat.

I think that makes sense though? Puberty is a strange period where things are growing fast but not all at the same time. I hate when the token younger LI is only 1 year younger, and then on top of that his personality is wanting to prove himself as a "real man" to the mc. I wish younger LIs were treated normally instead of humiliated and the age gaps were varied rather than just 1-2 years especially when in the same game you have mc dating some guy 8+ years older than her
I hate manwhores or when any LI has had a previous gfs (though I dont mind it if they bring something else to the table as an interesting character) especially if mc is a pure virgin who has never kissed anyone before. This might sound contradictory but I kinda like when the LIs have been previously sexually abused by women in the past, but only if they dont hate women as a result. Speaking of, LIs who are afraid of or hate women are obvious immediate trash, idk why this is even a trope. Ore-samas are only good if you can put them in their place.
I wish there was more blood-related incest and more blushing boys, I wish games that focused on the "worldbuilding" knew how to weave the MC/LI better into the plot instead of leaving everything to NPCs (looking at you Uchronia as the most recent example). I wish there were autistic chuuni otome VNs like Dies irae or insanely ambitious gameslike Hundred Line for women.

I developed an interest in music and singing later on and would dig deep into all kinds of trivia in it. From stuff like the musicians' lives and weird stuff they've done, to the way they played or recorded a song that has something unique about it, to the way they developed the pictures for the cover albums lmao. And since singing is my hobby, I learn about the science and biology behind it, the history, the techniques in different genres/styled and so on. I like fictional media as well and learn about the writers, animators, artists behind it, the techniques they used to develop it, the technology used for it, the behind the scenes shenanigans of the writing and development, and I also seek fan made content and stuff and try to make my own occasionally. I enjoy theorizing and analyzing the stuff I watch/read.

I collect rare and/or obscure music, both digitally and physically. I bought some stuff off bandcamp, some off random digital music websites, some from foreign streaming services using Telegram bots I paid for, and some CDs from people who owned them and didn't want them, so much so that they were dirt cheap because literally no one is looking for this but me, and one CD from a used records shop where someone bought it in 2005, never opened it, and sold it to the shop in 2024 and I saw the listing around the same time and ordered it for $15. I also contacted the producer of this album and he sent me unreleased demos, singles, and an entire planned album that was shelved. I prefer owning the files/CDs because you never know when are they gonna get taken down or discontinued or something. And there's no guarantee someone is gonna post it on YouTube or something or on SoulSeek and other piracy means. The stuff I collect is rare enough to never be found on these piracy places unfortunately because legitimately nobody cares. So I keep my own collection alive on my own. I want to continue doing this once I make enough money, and I want to own audiophile-ish gear like a FLAC player with a hard drive that is TBs big to be enough for all my music and with top quality wired earphones that can play FLAC to its full potential.

Did a bit of both but I certainly leaned far more into the SJW shit, even now I probably could fit that criteria. The most anti-SJW thing I ever said was "we don't need feminism in the west" when I was 13, this phase only lasted a few months. It made me lean even further into SJW stuff because I then knew all of the thought process/debate points from the otherside and could easily debunk them. I used to be more aggressive with my views but I mellowed out with age and prefer to keep my own peace of mind, I don't try to convince others of my opinions and instead give them the facts to form their own opinion. I realise now that most people are deadset in their views and it takes a lot more than a single back-and-forth to give them a change of heart.

Dance
Dance in the rain

Dance in the rain, dance in the rain
아무도 모르게 흐르는 눈물이
내 슬픔이 이 비와 함께 사라지기를
단 일초도 기억하기 싫은 잘못된 나의 사랑을
Wanna shake it off tonight
Gotta dance till you're out of my mind

Ooh, 리듬에 맞혀, step to the side
춤을 추는 동안은 you're out of my mind
잠시라도 잊을 수 있다면
Let's go 이 비가 그치기 전에

아름다웠던 우리의 추억은
악몽같이 나를 잠에서 깨우고
잊어버릴 거야 널 지워버릴 거야

Dance in the rain, dance in the rain
아무도 모르게 흐르는 눈물이
내 슬픔이 이 비와 함께 사라지기를
단 일초도 기억하기 싫은 잘못된 나의 사랑을
Wanna shake it off tonight
Gotta dance till you're out of my mind

I've been fighting myself ever
Since you've gone away
너보다 많이 사랑한 게 나의 죄인가봐
Dance in the rain 남들이 뭐라
해도 난 괜찮아 죽도록 사랑한 널 지울 거야

Dance in the rain, dance in the rain
아무도 모르게 흐르는 눈물이
내 슬픔이 이 비와 함께 사라지기를
이젠 모든 걸 버려야 하는 잘못된 사랑 안 할거야

I think this is one of those instances of parents being unable to see their own wrongdoing. The mother would have to confront the fact she traumatised her own kid and that likely scares her so she'd rather pretend the other scenario is worse. Kids respond differently to trauma I suppose but I would definetly argue the constant arguments and using the child as a shield/marriage counsellor is more traumatic than two christmases and birthdays each year.

Do you believe in manifestation? Why or why not?

No. 2591065

>>2591050
Yes but I believe it's capricious and can be used incorrectly. I only ever receive the things I manifest when my heart is truly open and I allow myself to desire the thing without shame or restraint. Anything less makes it backfire every time.

I also believe, on a secular level, that having a positive and ambitious mindset leads to a happier life.

>I only ever receive the things I manifest when my heart is truly open and I allow myself to desire the thing without shame or restraint.
Can you give an example? It doesn't have to be something you actually manifested if you'd like to keep it a secret

No. 2591082

it works, but i had to go all disney for it i.e. wished on star and basically almost everything i wished for came true. it cannot change the impossible which is the only reason it didn’t 100% match what i asked, but it was still like 95% matching anyways, so i’m satisfied lol negative manifestation is real too btw it truly forced me to not be so self-loathing and to clean up my act, it was basically like that part in the craft where the one suicidal witch’s self-hatred manifested vermin in her old house

No. 2591087

>>2591066
I think when it comes to "magic" and manipulating the world around us, you have to take it 100% seriously. You can't be embarrassed about it, or sheepish, or secretly not believing in your own power. Not even a little bit. Even if the desire itself feels silly, you have to take yourself seriously. One time I manifested a luxury chair I've always wanted simply because I WANTED that chair, it wasn't a passing consumerist urge, it was a very specific item that I found beautiful and deeply desired as a part of my life for years. I've always felt a bit embarrassed about liking expensive things, and I think I was able to acquire that chair because in that moment I admitted to myself that I really do value a beautiful, well-crafted item, and it doesn't make me shallow to enjoy high quality.

In contrast, many attempts have backfired because I wasn't putting my heart into it or I wanted it for shallow reasons. I think especially as women we are trained to feel ashamed of our desires, whether it's love or money or beauty or chairs. So a big key to manifestation is truly facing yourself, accepting who you really are, and embracing your most fundamental desires.

No. 2591172

>>2591050
No, doesn't work even when I 100% seriously desired something without shame. But reverse manifesting has worked, i,e. when I think negative thoughts positive things happen. Or not even just negative things but with any random thought, the opposite will happen

Why are anachans so competitive? When I meet them I notice they’re always comparing weights and they seem perplexed when I tell them I don’t remember what my highest or lowest weights are. Adding to what the other anon said, I heard that they get a high out of the long term hunger and become addicted to that. I'm not anorexic and I never could be one either because I get too sick when hungry, but the sickness sometimes prevents me from actually making food and when I finally get to eat I get too sick from eating and need like 2-3 hours to finish a meal and it sucks so much. But I did record and remember my lightest weight because it was during one of the worst times in my life and I was too shocked by the number. Have been stuck at the same somewhat healthy weight for 5-6 years now though but I'm also worried and weirded out by how it's exactly the same weight ever since and it never changes. Will I balloon up all of a sudden out of nowhere? Am I gonna lose weight accidentally? It's so scary lmao. It's like I found the perfect maintenance weight and diet by accident and idk how to quit it because it works too well.

No. 2600418

An anachan who counts calories and counts her weight and body mass and is constantly checking and checking and checking and checking and comparing herself to others and keeping track of other anas and their weights and calories and body mass and making sure her calories and weight and body mass are all "better" than theirs is a type of OCD. It is miserable. At that point she is essentially developing an identity in a group of other OCD anas who are all just mirroring each other because none of them actually have an identity outside of being ana because they were pretty much all abused as children and have been living in survival mode with no focus to learn anything unless it applies to the immediate future. Coping mechanisms must be taught and applied within the moment, teaching them today and expecting them to carry it out tomorrow during a breakdown won't be effective.

The competitiveness isn't OCD in itself but the reduced mental capacities from hormone imbalances from starvation easily triggers self hatred and that fuels the competitiveness.

Hello nonas, my favorite artist ever is coming to my country for a show in november. I am shaking because i don't know what to do. The price for the show and the train to get there are finally afforable for me.the train is a 3 hour ride. And then one extra hour to get there from the station. Is that good? I have never gone to a concert before and i have no one to go with me. I am very bad with crowds but i really love this artist. I dont know if i should do this before the tickets run out. My concern is making such a big journey alone, and especially a crowded place in a city i don't know. Is that too risky? He only appears in big cities. Also i would have to sleep in the city for that night, i've never slept anywhere alone. I am scared that if i take this commitment, then november will come and i will be too scared to do it, and i wasted money. Please give me advice, i am very behind in life in terms of doing things on my own and making big decisions like this.
(I would also like to gift them a big bouquet of flowers, but would they get ruined during the concert? I saw videos where the artist greets the fans outside the venue, i don't know if this happens before or after a show. The music is underground, and many fans take drugs and are alternative, so i am worried about asking someone to go with me, because i dont think i'd feel safe with them)

>travelling by yourself in a big city, finding lodging, the fact that you have never been to a concert before
You needn't worry about these unless the place is somewhere particularly dangerous. You will almost definitely enjoy the concert very much regardless of your social anxiety if you can manage to be safe.
>fans take drugs
This is the part you should be worrying about if you are going alone. Especially since it's a city that's foreign to you.
>gifting them flowers
I don't know if this would be possible, but chances are higher since you say they are underground. I probably wouldn't go for it since it's very likely you won't be able to get to them and it would be a hassle carrying it through the 4 hour ride and holding it in the concert in the chance that you can't give it to them before the concert.

Thank u very much for the advice. I was thinking of buying the flowers in the city once i arrive, so that they're a bit fresher. But honestly, i am too scared of the crowd and have already given up on doing this. I dont think i'd be able to even talk to the artist or look him in the eye, im also scared of someone recording that moment, i think it's best to forever watch him through the screen.
But i really appreciate that you took the time to answer me, i will keep your words in mind if i ever go to another concert
