besides that, I'm not really sure why it takes so long. American courts in general are notoriously slow. every tiny thing gets adjourned, it's weird. I got into a methadone program while still going to court. I wasn't ordered to or anything. I told my lawyer. he told the judge. the judge said "good job, keep it up, see you next month! adjourned!" and moved on to the next person
it was crazy. I was arrested in march 2014, then again in June 2014 for possession of. I was going 2x a month until August 2014 when they finally combined them into one case since they were both in the same county. I continued going to court until the end of May 2015 (over a year later!!!!) and I was sentenced to one year probation.
again, bronx might be different. but even if it is, I doubt Lurch is worried right now. if his court case was today, it SHOULD be updated by tomorrow morning. but you're right they're slow as hell and barely do their jobs, so we shall see
