Lesbian Media is always hard to find and often overshadowed in favor of BL romances.

The most common recommendations are always mediocre, with barely there representation or shown from the male-gaze.
So post your recs here!

Anything goes from Movies, to Tv Shows, to Books, to Mangas as long as it features two women in love.

Hi nona i came from the fujo/yumejo thread too! I liked that one a lot, although Saeko is too relatable so seeing her is like reliving a lot of past mistakes… You should totally check out Octave if you haven't, it's got similar adulthood and relationship angst and is one of my all time favorites

I am fairly new to ancient history, I thought I made that pretty clear in my post. Also I don't even use the tinfoil thread.

I'm also far from the only one who capitalizes the word "Christian". First of all, if you read a book that references Christianity, it will capitalize it. If you look it up in the dictionary it does that as well. I'm also typing on a phone which automatically capitalizes the words Christian/Christianity. Sorry I didn't know making a post about Celts would get you so butthurt.

>>185594
That's cool. There's a book about Boudicca I always see at my library and want to read it but haven't gotten around to it. I don't know if it's the same one or not but I do wanna learn more about Boudicca.

Can relate, nona, my cat is a weird demon. You can do anything at all to his face and head. He wants me to stick my fingers in his eyes and ears, I swear. But almost anywhere else and he goes nuts. He may have hyperesthesia, and tbh your cat may, too. It's not a big deal, they are just extra sensitive.

My favourite mangaka is Kaoru Fujiwara, I haven't seen anyone post any of her stuff but I really recommend Night Fish and Vampire Girl!! Her illustration can be really simple at times but for me it really gets the point across. Most of her works gives me a really airy and comfy vibe. Also I really like how she draws men and women very similarly. Vampire girl maybe isn't super good but I'm a sucker for vampires and it's special to me. I'd be really happy to get recommendations for more vampire manga!

>What is a Dumb Bitch Meme?

Hailing from the peak meme culture of the mid-to-late 2010s, Dumb Bitch memes seek to subvert the traditional male meme perspective, exposing the inner and outer frustrations of being a woman in the 2st century. Rising from postmodernism, Dumb Bitch memes are not built from the ground up— they take elements from the patriarchal capitalist hegemony and subsume its elements. The media that is pandered to women from a young age is appropriated into a meme format and repackaged into a radical, often vulgar expression of the worldview of a contemporary femme. Dumb Bitch memes are a continuing meme sub-genre, evolving into the present.

You may have a Dumb Bitch meme if it:
-expresses nihilistic existential themes that are tied into the growing pains of womanhood >>51672

-shows a hitherto hidden side of female sexuality, most likely with angry frustration overtones >>66251

-is a distinctly feminine reaction pic >>62427

-takes pleasure from relatable aspects of femininity almost all can relate to >>51670

Incident in a Ghostland, it’s about two girls who are trapped inside their new home by two serial killers. I can’t say too much without giving away important plot points but it deals with trauma and escapism, what the girls go through is really disturbing and the film messes with your mind a bit. Really recommend, also stressed me out a lot towards the end. It’s also directed by the same director behind Martyrs.
