I almost wish I was a therapist strictly just to help Shayna figure this shit out. She projects all of her insecurity onto everyone else, lies to herself about her mental state, and pretends like she's happy where she is in life.. but you can tell she's empty. You can TELL porn was never something she ever really wanted to get involved in. When she makes posts about how excited she is to do shoots, she thinks a little emoji will show how happy she is.. she's not. This girl isn't happy, but she's dug herself so deep into this hole that I feel like she thinks there's no turning back. I want to help this girl, but she's so in denial that she will never accept it. She isn't the same person she was five years ago, but she didn't change for the better. She never knew who she was and she allows herself to slip further and further from being the person she actually wants to be. She has attention issues, she has past sexual abuse issues (whether you believe her or don't) and even if you think she never had anything bad happen to her in her child hood, her mental illness has clearly always been at play. Most people don't pretend to be abused for the attention aspect, unless they have some sort of mental issue going on. She has never felt loved, she really convinced herself her parents/mom never loved her. She never allowed herself to be happy in her family life from the time she was little, and she never figured out how to be happy in general. She doesn't even know how to be an adult. She doesn't know how to get along without attention from others. She clearly doesn't feel satisfied with herself and look how far that has gotten her. Sadly, the older she gets, the harder it is to help her. Shayna, if you read this, please understand that I believe strongly, along with others, that you need help. You need therapy. You need to learn better coping skills, and you need to learn how to value yourself. At the rate you're going, you'll never be happy. You rely on others to make you happy, and that happiness will never last if you don't learn how to be happy with yourself. I have never wished anything bad on you, despite the horrible things you've said/done, because I know it all stems from your feel rooted insecurity. But the older you get, the less people will take the chance to wish you well. You at some point have to take responsibility for yourself. You're not happy when you drink yourself to sleep at night when you don't get a response from someone. You're not happy when you feel the need to self medicate. You can pretend all you want, but you aren't happy. You know that, and it's deeply saddening. Get help.(was this necessary)
