>FUJOSHI (腐女子, "rotten girl"): a self-mockingly pejorative Japanese term for female fans of manga and novels that feature romantic relationships between men.

>Discuss yaoi and BL here, as well as other media aimed at (or with fanservice for) fujoshis.

>Discussion of BL games here is okay, but please do not cannibalize the otome game general.
>Discussion of Male/Male ships outside of strictly BL series is allowed, try to avoid divisiveness between slashers and classic fujos.
>No straight shit, there are other threads for that.
>Feel free to ask for recommendations, but specify what kind of material you're looking for (Genre, oneshot/series, doujinshi, SFW/NSFW etc).

>Be mindful of others and hide your spoilers. Use the spoiler image option and wrap your text inside spoiler tags.
>Reminder to ignore the baiting males and trolls who come to provoke.
>Keep the armchair psychology to a minimum, we've heard it all before.

Nonas who read BLVN and BL manga in japanese/raw, how long did it take you to get comfortable reading any genre you want? NTA but Kuso Miso Technique is a bara manga, it was literally published in Barazoku.
However, pearl-clutching about a 2-decade-old imageboard meme is pathetic. Whoever that anon is, she definitely wasn't around when /y/ was not infested with gay moids and was full of actual yaoi 10+ years ago (that gif in particular was a classic in the /y/ yaoi humor threads). She probably believes no real woman has ever used any imageboard besides this one, even though LCF literally came from the 4/cgl/ community. Ignore newfag retards, don't even try to argue with them.

>Do they even exist?
The only non-manga anime adaptation I can think of is Ai no Kusabi, which came from a novel. There are various original BL ONAs that aren't on any databases, as well as Legend of the Blue Wolves, which is an original BL OVA. But those are originals, not adaptations of something else.

Speaking of the Ai no Kusabi novels, the official translations for it got so screwed over that fan scanlations picked up this project in spite of official licensing. Luckily, as of today, all the novels are scanlated and are available to read online. The official novels are so bad that they skipped over several novels-length worth of text (as in, hundreds of pages throughout) to condense it from the Japanese version. Yet, they completely erased important characters intros and vital story beats, so the English version doesn't make sense. So if you wanna read it, do so via fan translations.

NTA but that's why I've been liking other imageboards lately. 3-4 years ago this wasn't a problem, nobody would whine about an anon posting male characters that aren't typical bishies, stuff that would get (incorrectly) labeled "bara", "fag taste" or "roidpig" nowadays.

To be fair, sometimes the line of what constitutes as "bara" "fag taste" etc. can be blurry, like pic related has a pretty big fanbase of fujos, yet there's tons of guys that like this ship too. But as you stated, I swear that there wasn't as much complaining about it even if the lines were blurry. Women liked it, and we'll laugh at the men seething over our presence. But now? Can't even glance at something that looks slightly masculine and is tagged joseimuke before fujos here complain about their personal taste not being catered to. I wish it wasn't like that.

That's true, but you can usually tell by the art style. When you know the sex of the person behind the fan art/fan fic, you know with 100% certainty whether the target audience is BL or bara. People who know this and who acknowledge these subtletlies don't act like they have a stick up their asses all the time. And Heaven forbid that women and gay men like the same thing sometimes. "Nooo I don't want to be associated with moids!" then that's your problem, you can't force other women to be as bitter and obsessed with moids as you are.

>>488356

>>491141
The tldr is that it's basically just Juyeon getting revenge on Jiwook in various ways including orchestrating multiple extremely grueling gangrapes. Jiwook gets the absolute shit beaten out of him from start to finish. Ryona, piss, shit, vomit, it's all here. Author truly pulls no punches when it comes to making this guy suffer. There's really no romance between the two MCs and it ends on a fairly bleak note.

Basically Jiwook was a delinquent and all-around piece of shit as a young teen. Juyeon had a crush on him and accidentally let it slip, leading to the homophobic Jiwook sexually abusing him repeatedly and filming it. When Juyeon's mother discovers what's been going on, she has a psychotic break and has to be institutionalized. iirc it's also implied that Jiwook has done this to multiple girls as well. So yeah, you won't be pitying him and Juyeon's vengeance is gigabased.

Do you participate in the fandom space? This series is a guilty pleasure of mine for similar reasons but I feel like the fandom spaces have a gendie vibe (well, the English speaking side at least) to it. I think that enjoying Inazuma specifically probably feels lonely because the people who would've been interested in it are now into Blue Lock instead (which has more current content for fujos and is similar in concept). That being said, I'm here to appreciate your interest nice to see another farmer show it some love when it's so niche these days. I'm happy that the Switch game is happening and they didn't scrap it at least KEK

https://japantoday.com/category/crime/man-gets-4-12-years-over-threats-to-kurokos-basketball-manga-author

>On Oct 12, 2012, a plastic container was left on the second floor in the gymnasium of Tokyo’s Jochi University (Sophia University), the alma mater of Fujimaki. Inside the container was a liquid capable of releasing poisonous hydrogen sulphide. Attached was a note which read, “I hate Fujimaki.”

>Then, on Oct 15, a threatening letter was delivered to Fujimaki’s former high school which also reportedly contained a “white powder.” By the end of the month, similar letters were sent to broadcasters in Tokyo and Osaka that aired the anime version of "Kuroko no Basuke."
>In the following months after the first threats were made in 2012, further threatening letters were sent out to various events related to the "Kuroko no Basuke" series in Tokyo and Chiba causing numerous cancellations or exclusions of the sports manga in the case of larger events. In each case, the letters were accompanied by a potentially poisonous substance or the threat of one.

To summarize the links: Japanese guy who took out his anger of Fujimaki's success (KnB's mangaka) by threatening him and partially taking it out/blaming fujos too. From what I remember, there was talks about cancelling Comiket that year because of the death threats. But, I think just KnB was removed for safety reasons. It was a big deal in anime circles even in the west back in the early 2010s. AnimeNewsNetwork also has pretty good English catalogue uncovering these events as they were happening if you want more info.

Anyways, some people really underestimate the insanity that anti-fujos carry.

The fandom does have quite alot a gendies from what I have seen, but it doesn't surprise me considering the way the characters are designed. That also incites troonwashing, especially on the English speaking side of course, which at this point makes me roll me eyes. I don't have the energy to be upset at it anymore.
Never noticed the migration towards Blue Lock, to me it felt like a different batch of people there considering what Inazuma already offers (though you're absolutely correct about the fujo fuel, the clips I've seen have me sold on it). I could be coping hard right now though, haha. And thank god for that upcoming game, I hope its' release goes well! I already know I'll be watching the hell out of these let's plays.

Yes I have! Though I’m more fond of the first couple (short seme x tall uke is my niche), the second couples really nice too! I really like the humor (I love how they were arguing all the damn time and how the seme in the second couple thought he was being slick with consistently bothering the MC to create an excuse to visit). Also the second couples development getting complicated by the roommate made me gasp out loud. And I agree I can’t believe my local library/bookstore has Jinx, Pearl Boy, and Painter of the Night (all popular for a reason I’m sure but I don’t like them) but only one 200 miles away has this manhwa.

I also love when the uke is taller! Also love Sunjin's personality.
I'm glad the author deviates in some way from the usual, like one of the things i love from the second couple is that they are the same height. Kind of makes me think on how in many ships people decide to make the uke smaller just because bottoms must be always tiny or something (feng xin x mu qing from TGCF comes to mind when it's stated both have the same height but artists always make mu qing smaller which is incredibly sad)
Anyway, I'm aware there's a korean edition but last time i checked there was none in english, was the one you saw in korean?
At the library I saw love is an illusion, ennead, and other stuff I'm aware it's popular but I can't say I like.

Cartoonishly big is just grotesque to me, it reminds me of that retard IRL who died because he got a ruptured colon from trying to fuck a horse. I won't go so far as to say that comically large dicks are moidshit, but in my experience they're more popular with gay moids than with straight women. I think it's because men are more beguiled by supernormal stimuli than women, generally.

Honestly I'm reading Hounds of Sisyphus because I want to know where the story goes. I appreciate the meme ahegao face but sometimes Guwon looks a bit grotesque, it's like he is a mix of every korean seme trope ever (darker skin, tattoos, scars, huge ass body, tall and invincible, slicked back hair, bushy eyebrows stuck in the same expression forever, sangwoo eyebags, weird eyes, straight big nose with an angular face). I'm not a fan of the idiotic MC or how the story is written so far but we'll see. The sex scene wasn't even that good besides the ahegao.

A bl that I'm extremely ashamed to say I'm reading is The Trapped Beast. I hate it because I don't like omegaverse or all the baby talk, but something about the mcs keeps pulling me back. It doesn't even look that good and idc for the political drama, but I love that both the mcs are pretty. This manga's writing of anyone beside the blond haired vampire twink is fucking abysmal. Everyone is insufferable and I can't care for them. The female characters are especially fucking bad and it's funny that all of them are obsessed with sucking the dick of an annoying ass shonen protag who instead sounds like he wants to take it up the ass by his male "best friend".

Pretty sure it’s also canon that blondy likes the MC romantically so we shall see what comes of that kek.
On another note, does anyone know of any shoujo series that have m/m couples (do NOT recommend Sasaki to Miyano or Hirano to Kagiura I’ve already read them). I’ve been really into shoujo lately, and picrel is the only work ik that really has that kind of atmosphere and is gay.

I reposted some manga rips to yaoiotaku from another public raw manga website and the fucking admins are asking me if I got permission from the original uploader. I will never understand why the BL manga community cares so much about some rando scanner's "property" yet are completely OK with illegally distributing the author/publisher's actual property. Like bitch shut up and just read your gay manga.
I remember some years ago there was an obnoxious cunt on tumblr who was a big raw provider, but it turns out she just reposted raws from Harukayumenoato before the japanese government shut it down. And then she would tell scanlation groups they weren't allowed to user HER raws. Why does it have to be like this.

I know so many BL manga that have gotten dropped because one person decided to upload a highly anticipated chapter before the og uploader, and then they both threw bitch fits and refused to continue. And recently in one fandom of mine people who were using fucking Google translate to retranslate the raws had the audacity to criticize the og scanlator’s translation, when she was an official manga translator that lived in Japan. I used to read Tourou no Ouri and then forgot about it for a while… and then I went to see how it ended and it just went to shit? No. 506836

I liked the ending. Basically mc took the role of his brother and pedo the role of his father, what mc actually wanted which is very twisted. He also cut his own tendons to prove to pedo that he won't run away from him ever again and to make him take care of him. And basically is implied that the real prisoner is the pedo and mc us like a mantis, catching it's victim. I like twisted endings so I enjoyed the ending.
As for the assistant he redeems and it wasn't his fault to begin with, pedo had top notch manipulation skills. I'm glad that the wife had the best ending, and she was the most based character in the series, and the brother got the therapy and love he deserved. Mcs University colleague was best boy, but too normie for the degenerates lol.

The AU is currently serialized, and they treat everything as a period dark drama, everyone is an actor etc. and MC is a cute young actor that's in love with pedo, who in reality is a very cool but very kuudere to the point that his wife has enough of his boring ass and divorced him, but mc confesses abd they start a relationship. They're both really cute here, especially mc.

Boys-Love Light Anime Label Balloon Launches with TV Anime in 2026
>Publishing and anime production company IMAGICA Infos announced on Sunday it has joined with Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), CYBIRD, and Blue Rights to form the boys love label Balloon. The label's first project is a "light anime" adaptation of Tenma Asahi's Saioshi no Gikei Mederu Tame, Nagaikishimasu! (In Order to Love My Most Beloved Brother-In-Law, I'll Live a Long Life!) light novel series in production for a 2026 broadcast target. DNP and Imagica Info's Animation ID will handle production of the project.
>DNP speaheaded the concept of "light anime" to create animation at a lower cost on a more "timely" schedule compared to the traditional animation production workflow. The Balloon label aim to produce four new titles in the 2026 fiscal year, with a goal of establishing a workflow capable of producing 10 or more projects a year by 2028.

If the ccp ever fucks off I'll start learning it immediately in preparation for the glorious era of chinese bl.

BL Manga Creator Ogeretsu Tanaka Makes First Appearance at Anime Expo 2025
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/convention/2025/all-the-news-and-reviews-from-anime-expo/bl-manga-creator-ogeretsu-tanaka-makes-first-appearance-at-anime-expo/.226307
>Getting to the meat of the Q&A, Donahue shared how she found out Tanaka started drawing manga while she was relatively young, as young as when she was in preschool. “That's when I started reading manga and that's when my first memory of being an otaku started.“ During that time, she was a big fan of Cardcaptor Sakura, especially of Sakura's brother and his ”special” friend, Yukito. ”I was a Fujoshi since preschool,” she laughed, which received roaring applause from the room.
>”I was in high school when I drew my first manga and that's when I figured out this is for me. Up until that point, I didn't think about it and when I did, I just knew it was for me. From the start, it was always BL.”
>She spoke about her current work on a horror BL, but no information or title was shared during the panel. But as for a title she'd like translated into other languages, she hopes that her work, Mermaid Prince, a title that can be read on pixiv, can be translated one day. “It's not a horror series, it's a comedy. If you manage to conceive a child with a mermaid, you get 100 million yen.”

>Mokumokuren explained that they grew up reading classic manga like Naruto and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but one of the biggest sources of inspiration for them was probably the manga Tokyo Ghoul. They like how that series was able to portray a character's psychological struggle, and they particularly liked the scene early on in the series where the main character was tortured physically, while internally he was fighting a lot of manifestations of his enemies.

I feel this way too and I can't explain why. Shonenslop fujobait is SO superior to original bl or implied/canon pairings to me. I don't usually go for romance as a genre, so maybe the tease of a romantic subplot in a story about something else is more appealing than a love story to me? Like the other anon said the "thrill of the chase" is also fun. It provokes imagination. With original bl or canon pairings, it's less exciting. Their story is already told. There's nothing to wonder about or argue with other fans about or make your own story about.

You're stronger than my friend, at the very beginning of the anime Gojo's face gets a bit too close to Yuji's, whose shirtless and Yuji blushes a little bit. We're both fujoshi and she told me even she found this too on the nose. The thing with Sukuna and Megumi isn't as in your face because in the manga once Sukuna possesses Megumi he really treats him as nothing more than a very useful tool. It gets even more obvious near the end of the manga when Megumi can't stop comparing Yuji and his sister, who is supposed to be "his type" and Yuji acts like he's this close to give him a love confession when crying and trying to be his kight in shining armor, I've seen plenty of non fujoshi finding it funny or suspicious.

>Shonenslop fujobait is SO superior to original bl
It's pretty obvious why it is like that. In shonen the characters have much more personality, goals, life, friends, adventures etc. they, in many ways, are much more real than most BL characters that usually live in their own bubble, are completely separate from the world they live in, which is usually also severely underdeveloped, and interact mostly in the context of their sexuality ie. Their love interest, their rapist etc.
I'm not saying ALL bl are like this, there are a few gems and attempts to break out of this here and there (successful to a varying degree) but most of them tend to be like this. Or if the BL is plot centered, the story is often unexciting, a slog to read and often full of plot holes

fully agree with you, nonna. a shonen or adventure series just offers way more material to work with and to rotate my ships in my mind and put them in situations. ngl i barely care for original bl manga because the characters are so boring and i know they're gonna end up together. i also don't care for romance novels for that exact reason - i know kayleighynn and brandyxn are gonna get married at the end of this romantic summer beach read, why tf would i want to read about their boring journey and their equally boring inner lives and lukewarm personalities? at least with bl manga i can root out the ones with nice sex scenes and get some form of pay off but i'd rather see toji and gojo in situations instead of tanaka and gen from kendo club whose story is wrapped up in 5 chapters.

This is why I prefer shipping from non-BL series to shipping from BL series. In BL the romance is usually the driving point of the story, so there isn’t as much room to dedicate to worldbuilding and establishing the characters outside the main couple. That’s all fine and good for character driven slice of life/drama stories, but I’d like to read more ambitious plots like sci-fi or fantasy epics but in fujo flavor.

Don't think so. It's just some staff spreading their thembian agenda. ANN has no problem calling Mokumokuren a woman in today's release:
>Diving quickly into the Q&A session, Mokumokuren voiced her support for the anime. “I know the anime is in good hands and it will deliver. I was involved from the early stages of writing the script, and I worked with the team to ensure the quality of the anime. There were things they needed to change to adapt it to the anime form, but I know it's been done in a great and unique amazing way.”

I think shounen BL shipping has such an appeal over genuine BL works because shounen series are way more likely to have a compelling plot, or at the very least one that's serviceable enough to tolerate and draw its readers into the world somewhat. Regardless of whether it's m/m, f/f, or f/m, romance by itself isn't super interesting when it's the main focus, but is great as a B-plot that adds complexity to the main story and the characters' motivations. Most real BL revolves solely around the guys getting together, and while that's definitely something that can be done well, it gets boring after a while and the resolution(them getting together or not) isn't going to wow anyone.

That being said, personally I do like it best when the boys have genuine romantic feelings for one another and not just shipping potential, but plot-heavy BL is hard to come by and finding that kind of relationship in non-BL is even harder. The best you can hope for nowadays is something like what the JJK guys have.

Banana Fish falls under "plot-heavy BL"(even if it's not technically BL and all kek, close enough) here, not shounen.

And honestly I find the shoujo v. shounen distinction kinda useless at times when it comes to shows like Banana Fish(shoujo that doesn't fit the image of one) or shounen series that are clearly aimed at women and have a mostly female audience like Hanako-kun or Kuroshit. I know it depends on which magazine the manga runs in but I can never consider the latter two to be the same thing as, like, MHA or JJK despite the also very heavily female audience

Me, too. The writing is simply better in those cases than 90% of actual published BL manga/anime so that's probably why. But BL still has a special place in my heart because I enjoyed it a lot and its empty meaningless aimless plots when I was a tween and alter as a teenager, so I can't act like I don't like it or something. I also think BL games seem very interesting and up my alley with all the horror aspects, but I hate gaming and I don't have the mental energy to watch someone play it either. I'm stupid.
>>515921
This was me with KiraBoss and Wekapipo x Magent Magent when I was heavy into Jojo. They had insane stories and personalities that could work and the fan art and angsty fanfic was so fun to delve into. I still remember making up my own stories about each ship and creating headcanons to how and why it would work. If I could draw I would've made insane doujins already.
>>515933
I think that it's there's already a big story going on and each of the guys in the pair are part of this story and have their own crazy plot and role in it all, extra spice if they're intertwined somehow, too. So it gives them a reason to actually be attracted to each other and makes the romance feels more legit and serious rather than a silly crush between 2 school boys or office workers where nothing actually happens. Like why do you like him? Because he's hot? Wow how entertaining. But with shounenslop it's like he likes him because he saved his life, is the one who changed him for the better, or the one who has everything he never got to have but is also nice to him and wants to help him and give him what he needs and so on. It feels like a real reason to love someone, especially with the surrounding general plot if they have sad backstories and they understand each other's struggles and stuff and are both in the same danger and preserving their lives drives them closer to each other. It's simply more human and makes the romance actually worth it.

I found my people in this discussion lol. I stopped reading actual BL years ago because of this. I enjoy my OTPs and fantasies inside my head much more because it's all the stories and tropes I like combined and real BL pale in comparison.

My thoughts exactly! A lot of my feelings on this are just because I'm strongly drawn to fantasy/sci fi as a genre and love when the pairings are a small piece of a larger world. Or they like shonen manga with adult main characters, either older ones or the evry few "recent" ones with adult main characters. I noticed I was like that and remembered all the women in their late 20s and 30s who almost only talk about the adults in FMA, Gintama, JJK, etc. irl or on the internet. Even people who make typical action shonen manga are inspired by historical facts, documentaries, shows and movies from everywhere in different genred and for adults, novels, etc. I'm sure even they would agree with your point. It's just that they have to adhere to what's imposed to them by publishing companies. Normal, well adjusted adult shonen manga fans don't only read them, they also like plenty of different things too, as opposed to shonentards who think Naruto is 2deep4u. Sometimes you just want long stories with cool action scenes that's not too complicated to follow and shonen manga and anime are great for that especially when it comes to supernatural stories that would require insane special effects if thet were live action movies or series.

Ooh fellow Midpollo enjoyer! I prefer their original backstory from the Wildstorm universe, where everyone else on their original superhero team died, and they had forgotten who they were, so all they could rely on was each other. And Midnighter unexpectedly forming a bond with baby Jenny and deciding to adopt her was so sweet. I think the main DC universe got rid of all that because they didn't want Midnighter and Apollo to be "old" (I think they're around 50 originally, but New 52 made them mid-to-late 20s like everyone else). Also main-universe DC sometimes seems to mischaracterize Apollo as being opposed to killing when he never was before, ugh.

Danmei nonnies I'm sorry I doubted your taste. I'm reading TGCF after watching the anime and it's so good, definitely one of the best things I've ever read. I assumed I wouldn't like danmei since I don't like Korean bl, but now I see I was a retard. I hope other danmei novels are just as good cause having a whole new catalogue of BL material to read would be life changing.
I'm so sad I missed the anime when it was airing. I hope they make a new season, the censorship would be so funny.

No. 518129

>>518096
Danmei is more like gay romance + actual plot, which is why it's far more superior than your average shitty korean bl manhwa where all they do is fuck and have a shitty drama going on. Basically it's like an original anime or shounen where the two male leads/rivals actually get together instead of being just bait. It's the fujo ultimate fantasy. That doesn't mean all danmei is good, there's a lot of poorly written stories, but there's unique gems too. Anything written by mdzs is great because she has a knack for murder mystery, and writes everything like an anime.

apologies for the late reply, but marry me nonna… DC has treated apollo like absolute shit compared to his former publication, which is saying a lot because wildstorm also treated him like trash. i always enjoyed when artist would draw him on the prettier, more slender side, which i felt was a good contrast to midnighter and set him apart nicely from supes as an expy. the no killing/anti violence aspects of his personality (as well as upping his 'gay' side by having him like dragrace) is embarrassing. their relationship lacks any of the layers it previously did, with that unstated possessiveness and their tied pasts (even apollo's new backstory is boring shit). i hate that redesign they did, especially that short sleeved shirt/supersuit they do when they want to 'masculinize' a male character (joey/kon suffered the same fate). while i enjoyed steve orlando's run with them, they still didn't feel like midnighter/apollo…

I do recall her complaining about the amount of work for the cafe but I didn't catch that she was dissing them, the mind of this woman

That's even worse because that means she'll draw at least one awfully long rape scene with the most unattractive and uninteresting character in the story.

I remember that! That was fucking hilarious. No one except his dedicated fans gave a rat's ass and had zero regrets. His rape scene was easily the most disgusting one, even more than the fat mobs. He's an insufferable fucking asshole too, especially to Dan (the bottom), and so I frankly NEED to see him humbled via Dan's dick in him. A gal can dream.

Nta but there's an artist that draws Jaekyung getting dicked down in a quite similar art style of the series on Twitter, I wish I could remember their name

I just read Jinx because I love Dan. Just seeing a protagonist suffer from circumstances is a win for me. Plus he's such a sweetheart.

I got legitimately angry when Jaekyung refused his birthday present. I actually got fucking grumpy about a BL story like I was 15 again kek

Me too, noona, lmao. I was listening to mitski and that hit harder than it should, lol. JK was such a fucking asshole I'm glad Dan got punched him twice, at least. I'm praying for a third time, though.

Even if it's the same shitty yaoi with the top being an ass, it's pretty entertaining.

I think it helps that Doc Dan is so endearing. I just want to see him succeed at SOMETHING. I spent the entire story so far in fear for his fucking life. JK is going to fucking murder him, I swear.

I just hope we get some conclusion with Dan's trauma. His sexual harrassment from the hospital director kind of went to the sidelines…

The chase arc is kind of good because Dan looks utterly in despair. I mean, he only had had his grandma all his life, what will he do if she's gone?

JK better reform because Dan is such a sweet, sensitive guy. He can be 30 and all but he should be treated with care! JK is a damn monkey.

YES, GO GET YOUR REDEMPTION JOO JAEKYUNG! #TEAMJAEKYUNG
Jk he doesn't need it

Still, I don't understand why people who truly hate Jaekyung continue reading Jinx. Sure, Dan is adorable and everyone, incluiding me, wants him to be happy but if I hated a character enough to leave deranged comments every update(sometimes daily) like the people in mangago I'd have to contemplate my life choices atp

Well, time for my nth re-read till the next chapter drops!

They are so scared of getting hate by saying they like it, or they have been gaslighed or manipulated by retards nowadays to hate it, KEK.

Just say you like it. It's more embarrassing to comment "ugh is this still going on and they are still the same" first every chapter.

"the author is pulling this sad story so we can pity him!!!!" are you that retarded that you can't even understand how stories work, megaretard? and they complain why yaoi stories are not taking seriously

didn't see this much hate with caesar, though.

You're right and it's funny seeing all the twitterfags coping hard to justify the fact that they like a "problematic" thing. They say it's Yoshiki "accepting his queerness/homosexuality" (he never really gets used to Hikaru entering him, because it would kill him) but then they say Hikaru isn't a male and this isn't a yaoi. When Hikaru enters Asako, are they going to say it's akshually her rejecting queerness or whatever? So many stupid thoghts on a work that's just yaoi ryona (not saying it's bad, it's just that that's what the author made it for and nothing else, let's be honest).

Sorry for this but this is word for word what my Blue Lock mutual said for her current ship and she's venting to me about Kaneshiro's NTR pairing terrorism kek. But yeah been there done that. While it's not a guarantee have you tried revisiting old fandoms you've been in? Sometimes when things get rough I go back to them and see if there are any new fics, art or djs I missed. It's also a great way to check other media since there's a chance of those artists moving on and you can guarantee it has at least some fujo material to work with if they're still creating fan content.

Late to the Ennead discussion but I need to sperg

>>522171
Idk, I was kind of eager for the comic to reach this part of the mythology. It wasn't anticlimactic in and of itself imo, but the shit with FG afterward totally killed the tone and pacing. I don't think Horuseth is "awfully written," I just think their relationship hasn't progressed as far as it ought to. Way too much of season two has been spent pissing about, the mirror reveal and eye-gouging scene should have happened ages ago. While season one was definitely stronger, I still find that the comic's positive attributes outweigh its negative ones, personally.

>>522535
Maybe you should form your own opinions on things. Ennead has some tone problems and I hate FG just as much as anyone else here, but I don't think he ruins the story, and I don't think Mojito hates Horus. I like Horus, but he needed some comeuppance after being so possessive and jealous. Getting his eyes gouged out was kind of extreme, but hes a demigod, so it's not a huge deal.

>bonus side story
If it's another rape scene with Seth I'm going to fucking throw up. FG is truly the Mineta of Ennead, in that he's the author's favorite character but most fans despise him, but arguably worse because even Mineta wasn't rammed down reader's throats as hard as FG is. Also he looks even worse without facial hair.

I liked walked on water, I give it a 7/10. But I preferred Chang over the male lead, I found him more interesting.
I felt like him and Ed had a better history between them, the plot would have been ticker and more angsty. They didn’t make Ed have feelings for him and threw the rape just to ruin his character and makes us side with the male lead, which was lazy writing to me.
He’s much sexier and his suits are so hot.

He exuded more sex appeal and sexual tension with Ed than Creed could ever do, if he had been an official rival he would have easily won kek. Anyway that’s my two cents, thank you nonnas.

What are your favorite pairs? I personally like leads that aren’t twinks , if they are both masculine that’s my flavor right there kek.

Yes the art style in the beginning was bad, I especially hated that god awful lip gloss on taekjoo he looked like a kpop idol when he's supposed to be a secret agent. luckily it gets better after the first few chapters and the story is great so I hope you enjoy it nona.
