Who were yall's favorite characters & those that hit your soft spot? My favorite of all time is Sasuke, I think he was right despite all his messiness, but aside from him, Hidan and Shino are great too. I also like Sakura out of spite and what her full potential could've been.
What are your headcanons/"in a better anime, this would've happened"? Personally I think every clan deserved to powercreep as hard as the Uchihas to different degrees, based on each clan's attitude to breeding power. The Hyuugas definitely could've gotten some freaky shit like not just blocking chakra pathways, but injecting their own chakra into their opponent's pathways to puppeteer them, or even make/unmake/modify things to the molecular level via ~chakra~, like tapping a chicken and making it lay eggs with two yolks every time. Idk I think it would be fucking awesome. Also due to my Shino bias I really wonder what an Aburame powercreep would be like. Bug mecha sounds cool but that's probably too many bugs to sustain for one ninja unless you're a jinchuuriki. Maybe an ultra-powerful cancerous breed of maggots that are their own bioterrorist weapon that basically salts the earth of their enemy's lands, or ones that feed off their enemy's chakra that enables Aburames to create bug clones OF the enemy that can nullify them. This would've been sooooo cool.

The Shinobi System and Its Future

1. The shinobi system and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of the elite in the "advanced" lands, but they have destabilized societies, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of ninja techniques will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in "advanced" lands.
2. The ‘one shinobi village for each land’ system may survive or it may break down. If it survives, it MAY eventually achieve a low level of physical and psychological suffering, but only after passing through a long and very painful period of adjustment and only at the cost of permanently reducing shinobi and many other living organisms to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine. Furthermore, if the system survives, the consequences will be inevitable: There is no way of reforming or modifying the system so as to prevent it from depriving people of dignity and autonomy.
3. If the system breaks down the consequences will still be very painful. But the bigger the system grows the more disastrous the results of its breakdown will be, so if it is to break down it had best break down sooner rather than later.
4. We therefore advocate a revolution against the shinobi system. This revolution may or may not make use of violence: it may be sudden or it may be a relatively gradual process spanning a few decades. We can't predict any of that. But we do outline in a very general way the measures that those who hate the shinobi system should take in order to prepare the way for a revolution against that form of society. This is not to be a POLITICAL revolution. Its object will be to overthrow not governments but the economic and military basis of the present society.
5. In this article we give attention to only some of the negative developments that have grown out of the shinobi system. Other such developments we mention only briefly or ignore altogether. This does not mean that we regard these other developments as unimportant. For practical reasons we have to confine our discussion to areas that have received insufficient public attention or in which we have something new to say. For example, since there are well-developed Shinto and 'nature worship' movements, we have written very little about environmental degradation or the destruction of wild nature, even though we consider these to be highly important.

I used to be obsessed with naruto during middle school but nowadays all I know about it is that there is a naruto all grown up anime that I haven't watched and that awful boruto show that I actually watched a bit because it was on tv and I was bored. Boruto has a very boring design and all the kids are annoying, and not naruto-annoying, boruto is legit retarded and has no personality beyond his dumb daddy issues… "oh no my da is hokage and I hate him and I'm gonna publicly humiliate him by doing stupid shit for no reason because I am a rebel and not a sheep like da" like, fucking get a grip, he managed to be like naruto but worse. And how dare he speak of naruto like that? couldn't Hinata ninjaed his ass a bit so he can learn proper respect? How could this happen, it makes no fucking sense, he is just a rebel because his dad is successful and respected (fucking finally)???? Nothing else??? What kind of teenage angst is that? It's not like he is even treated different because his dad is hokage, there is some random bullies there bullying the most annoying nerd ever and boruto narutoed his way into this friendship and (easily) defended the kid cus he got impressive powers, too bad he doesn't have an impressive personality. Also he has a friend that is carbon copy of that guy with a ponytail (don't remember his name, been a while) I know it's his son but the designs are so bland. I expected to see new characters, not 'hey, look, this is that old character kid. You can recognize it because they look exactly the same', if you gonna keep reminding me of the old characters, why do a story on new ones at all?
Naruto and his son have the most ridiculous father and son relationship issues I have ever seen in anime… and thats to say they have none, I have no idea what is boruto's problem. He is retarded and I hope sasuke's spawn teach him a lesson if the guy is still around. Or maybe the pups of that ninja dog. I swear everyone of the old show reproduced. Fuck this shit, I hate the day I learned about boruto's existence, life was better when I thought naruto had ended with them growing up and becoming good ninjas and kicking sasuke's ass. Unrelated but I hope Hidan's still alive underground in some comatose half-decayed way and there's like a bunch of insects feasting on this slowly (but slower and slower) regenerating Cornucopia of flesh, it would be cool. If Boruto ever touched that plotline they'd fuck it up super hard probably, but it'd be nice to hear about some actual continuity instead of powercreep retcon plothole.
